I also have a chronic illness and when days gets bad, it's ok to take care of yourself and focus on just feeling better. The dishes in the sink can wait, and you're not being selfish or irresponsible for staying in bed. You're taking care of you when you really need it! I love you and this pain isn't forever the good days will be back!

Having a low spoon day, curled up on the sofa watching Simon and martina videos and this pops up in my subscription box, perfect timing! Also, I have never seen omelette on rice anywhere in Europe. The only time I have seen a whole egg on rice, normally fried, is when it’s eastern food.

In April 2018, I had a concussion that lead me to develop severe depression and anxiety as well as frequent migraines. Thanks to a lot of malpractice on many levels as well as shitty situations all around, I have been suffering in silence for such a long time. However, you guys and the nasty community have been there for me as a refuge for me during the hardest times of my life. When I refused to let my family or friends in because of how ashamed I felt about the person I had become, I found solace and hope in the brutal honesty of how depression and chronic illness has affected you both. On the days where it was all I had in me to brush my teeth and wash my hair, I remembered to be patient with myself like Martina is when she has to spread out the task of buying the pokemon trinkets for her garden across three days instead of the intended one because that was just all her body could handle at that time. During the times where I felt like I was a chore for my friends and family I remembered how Simon gives so willingly to Martina and how frustrated he gets when Martina says the same things I was thinking. During the mornings I wake up with a migraine so bad I wish there was an actual ice pick going through my brain instead of a metaphoric one, I remember to set the first rung on my ladder. I don't think there had been a day in the last six months were I haven't used a bit of the wisdom I have learned from you two. I honestly don't know if I would be here today if not for both of your courage to be so candid, so thank you so much. I promise to support you both until you guys get your fantasized farm in the countryside. Thanks again. :)
I was legitimately eating the Jjajangmyeon I fiiiiinally made from that old Korean MMM (I've been meaning to try it for the last 6 years - better late than never), so your comment about the Omurice made me think I was hallucinating! Also, the ending voiceover killed me ahahaha - Good luck with the jet lag!
That looks suuuuper comforting to me! My grandmother used to mix rice with eggs and soft scramble it with salsa. We'd eat it with tortillas and it was divine! Love you guys!
I believe omurice is Japanese-Western food, like curry rice, napolitan spaghetti and etc. I think they got the idea from western omelette and ketchup, and that's how it became a "Yoshoku".

Yooshoku is actually Japan-nized Western food. Omurice (omelet) and rice (Japanese staple). In other words a hybridized dish.
