My mom ripped out carpet in one of our houses we lived in. Made us help and my mom could out work about any human ever. She cut and housed tobacco which is about the hardest crap you can do. Her and her first husband not my dad did that for money. Among other jobs. She also put in the new carpet in our house. She ripped floors up in bathrooms and put in new. Painting. All kinds of other construction crap. Now I haven’t come across any other woman who could work like my mom did. She was just a ridiculously hard worker.
As a nurse in field with mostly women, every single day my female coworkers have patients that they are not strong enough to transfer by themselves or even with other women helping them, and so they always run to get me, the only male around, and I easily pick up patients that two or three women can’t pick up even if they’re working together. But every now and then a new nurse is hired who is like “Well I’m actually really strong. I lift weights”. But nope, they always end up being no different, sooner or later even the ones that don’t want to admit that they aren’t as strong as a man at first end up coming to me when they can’t lift something or someone. My point is that men and women are equal, but different. If the entire job is lifting it doesn’t make sense to hire a team of women for the job. That’s silly.

If she's working out to be stronger tell her do carry dumbbells around like buckets. Low even weights at 1st, say 2-5 kg per side. Slowly increase weight and start carrying them uneven. Say 6kg left and 8kg right. Switch it up regularly and consistently increase weight to about 20-30 kg total. She'll build core strength and practice stability and it's really important when carrying large unwieldy objects.

Seriously, I hired an all girl cabinet refinishing company because they did staining aside from painting, so they said. The finish wasn't perfect but was laid pretty well, was 'dry' in a few spots, but also it wasn't a stain, it was an opaque, stain-looking finish that was sprayed on like paint- that's not how you stain wood. It looks ok, as far as the color, but not texture because I can't see the woodgrain. Don't hire an all woman company, from my experience.
That's a pretty low data set - your one experience. Also, staining wood is 99% talent that anyone can achieve, but lighting furniture all day is 99% capability that not everyone is built to gain, particularly most women. Sticks that they didn't actually stain your cabinets, but that's just a crappy company and guys do that wrong too.

She told me the fridge was emptied and ready to go, so I began to move it with the hand truck. I was amazed how heavy this thing was, it about broke my arm pulling it up the ramp into the truck. Then I realized something. I pulled the tape off the door and opened it, and it was completely full. She had lied - she just taped it closed without emptying it at all. My arm was in pain for weeks, I had pulled a tendon or something. But she didn't care, because that's how women think of men: we're just disposable beasts of burden to them.

This girl ends up dropping it while I wasn’t securely behind it and it almost came crashing down on me. Thankfully a neighbor saw and helped me out. Moral of the story is NEVER HAVE A WOMEN HELP YOU MOVE ANYTHING HEAVY. It may be the last thing you do

Women can be excellent packers on a move job, but even still the material that must be transferred from the moving truck into the house is a fair amount of lifting. Ladies in the business are typically semi-truck drivers that don't do a lot else, from my experience as a mover.

I'm a mover. We do have a lot of people who train and fight, or retired semi pro football players. Or amateur rugby/lacrosse/wrestlers. Or ex felons. Pretty much activities that either require you to be strong or get strong but don't pay much. Not sure why a woman would want to be a mover. It's a hard job for people with hard lives and not a lot of better options. Not everyone can do it, just strong people who don't mind a lot of struggle.
I own a moving company ive worked with two women that were really good movers and one that wasnt. Probably about the same quality ratio as men. On average men can lift more but i look for willingness to work and attention to detail more than sheer strength.
I never thought of that. Then again when i moved furniture, almost all of the guy customers were ex military with blown out backs, making more money than is healthy on contract work, and they went full commanding officer on us. So no, i don't think any of those guys felt emasculated.

I spent 3 summers working for a moving company during university. Knowing how makes it a lot easier.
It's like loading drywall into a truck. Knowing where to grip and how to lift/carry it makes all the difference.

Women can be excellent packers on a move job, but even still the material that must be transferred from the moving truck into the house is a fair amount of lifting. Ladies in the business are typically semi-truck drivers that don't do a lot else, from my experience as a mover.

I'm a mover. We do have a lot of people who train and fight, or retired semi pro football players. Or amateur rugby/lacrosse/wrestlers. Or ex felons. Pretty much activities that either require you to be strong or get strong but don't pay much. Not sure why a woman would want to be a mover. It's a hard job for people with hard lives and not a lot of better options. Not everyone can do it, just strong people who don't mind a lot of struggle.

I own a moving company ive worked with two women that were really good movers and one that wasnt. Probably about the same quality ratio as men. On average men can lift more but i look for willingness to work and attention to detail more than sheer strength.
I never thought of that. Then again when i moved furniture, almost all of the guy customers were ex military with blown out backs, making more money than is healthy on contract work, and they went full commanding officer on us. So no, i don't think any of those guys felt emasculated.
