    I loved the presentation of both cities. Very succinct and pleasurable to watch, and very informative.

    Great video concept. I came through both Sheridan and Casper a few weeks ago on a trip on my Harley (headed to Cheyenne/Laramie). The impressions I got of both where that Sheridan is a prettier, cleaner, smaller, and somewhat classier town; but given an influx of liberals with money... it is too expensive and shifting slightly to the left. The community college is also a bit lefty. Casper just looked like a big dirty city in a flat dustbowl of the plains with a small ridge of trees they call Casper Mtn. I did not stop too much in Casper but that is the way I remember it from living in the Lar/Chey area. I would probably choose Cheyenne over Casper if I wanted that sized town; or Sheridan over Laramie for that sized town. I will be heading through the area again soon and would like to consider Casper, so I'll give you folks a call. ...to see if I missed anything and maybe it is a great place now.

      versus conservatives with no money? :) who cares what your political views are, people all have the same desire to live somewhere they feel welcomed by neighbors with fun things to do outside

      I will say, you need to get off of the interstate to see the best parts of Casper. I think you would really enjoy a ride around Wyoming Blvd. or head up Casper Mnt. Road and take a right on Garden Creek. Our downtown area has also become a gathering place for our community. We would love to show you around next time you are here!

    Great video. Very helpful. My wife and I are moving to Wyoming within the next 12 months. Mid-40s and empty nesters. What is your advice for a place to live that is good for middle aged folks. We like the idea of living in a remote location but with plenty for our age group.

      If you love the outdoors our state has so much to offer! Of course, my first choice is always Casper :) One of the great things is that we are in the middle of the state and that makes it easy to take day or weekend trips around the state.

    I just did a Google search on the prices of apartments. It's expensive for just a one bed one bath. Aren't there any cheaper apartments for a senior at 65 yrs old? I'm in Texas and thinking about moving to WY. I want to take up skiing/snowboarding in my senior years, I don't know why, but want to move to a more quiet safer state where you don't roast to death in the summer, like we do in Texas.
    Thanks for your help.

      Cody Is for sure one of the better Towns in Wyoming, Most of the towns in Wyoming are Struggling Big Time, Sky High Unemployment, Crazy Expensive Rents for Dumpy Old rental houses, Sky High Power Bills, which can easily reach $ 300 to over $ 500 Bucks a month, I lived In Cody way back in the Mid 1980s, loved it, Its a Tourist Town. Total Years I lived in Wyoming 26, We left in 2016 so glad we did The State is falling Apart, The Economy is in Free Fall, The Oil and Gas Industries are about to Collapse in the State. We Moved To East Texas and Love It ! Much Cheaper, More Good Paying jobs than they can fill, Rentals, Houses, Apartments are easy to find, we live in the Country and just Love it, we rent a beautiful 3 Bedroom Cabin, on 20 acres, in the Piney woods, we have our horses, dogs,We are now buying the property from our Landlord, for less that $ 700 a Month, Power Bills are Cheap, Dont fall for the Feel Good Nonsense in these Video's, about Wyoming, Its Crazy Expensive for Everything.

      So would you suggest California as having better businesses higher paying jobs lower mortgages cheaper groceries cheaper gas and a better place to live Wyoming is still cheaper than a lot of liberal states nothing is perfect but some places clearly are better than others.

    • @MichelleNovalee
      @MichelleNovalee 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@glasserallenthat person is a troll. Wyoming has the cheapest utilities out of all 50 states and the citizens vote to keep it that way. I pay like $60 max for my electric bill in winter. Sheridan has been rated with the top school district for 7 years in a row. It’s a highly desirable place to live.

  • @elkhunter307

    Sheridan is the new yuppie Jackson bs… way overpriced for what you’re buying. Casper is still reasonable and the people are normal. If you want to be treated as lesser than or inferior to elites move to Jackson or Sheridan. You want to spend 4-500k on a 1000sqft move to Sheridan.
