  • End of my fight with stuck carbon saddle post. It took me two days trying to free it up. Have tried sprays like wd40 and gt85 and have hammered it for 2 hours to move it but no luck. Finally, hot boiling water and brute force gave me the leeway for first movement of the saddle post. Than more hot water and more force and I got it out. Surprisingly post has survived the massacre.

I wish I had that luck of being able to twist it, my seat post is carbon on carbon and aero so the seat post isn't circular its like a V shape.

I have a dropper seat post stuck in a carbon frame. The shop where I bought the bike can't get it out. I wish they had warned me that this could happen . Now they say I should have been removing it and living it . The bid I'd around 3 years old.

Try doing that with barely an inch of broken carbon post visible.. my case scenario

You think this could work on an aero seatpost?

Was that a carbon frame or aluminum?

      I think it's carbon.
I was lucky enough to be able to remove mine (carbon seatpost inside carbon frame)

@@dazdeluxe6672 ull be fine with a battery drill may need charging a few times depending on quality of ur drill but will work start off with a small drill bit and work ur way up in size dont go strate in with a big drill bit you may need to go get a bit large anuf fore a pole to fit frew just take a measurement of seat pole go from there mate bnq wicks eny were like that ull get a pole and drill bit just make sure its a metal drill bit 😉 👍
