I’ve played over a 100 hours in EA, which is very rare for me. Something about this game is super addictive. It blends rogue lite with light metroidvania elements really well. The movement style is quite unique and takes a bit of getting used to though.
Thats rogue legacy for you. One of the greatest games ever made. Please come to ps4.........
The first Rogue Legacy still makes me go back to my Vita every now and then.

Got this game today, if you on the fence on getting it than get off that fence and dive in. The game is 100% worth it.

@@RagnarokMic maybe but rouge lites don't do well on ps anyway. Returnal was a great one and didn't sell well at all.
@@Diddy69God Sold like half a million being on just PS5, that's not too bad, Sony considered it a success. Hades, maybe the best ever, sold mostly on Playstation.
Another must-play indie gem 💎 games being fun to play first and foremost is a rule AAA seems to have forgotten recently…
To me it looks like any other game in this genre 🤷🏼♂️

Great game. It is challenging at first, but there is also a lot to do. Really enjoyed it via early access.
Now on Nintendo Switch! And it's a glorious release! Super crisp and 60fps. Eye popping on the OLED!
Just bought today after seeing this review. It’s an amazing game and easily a 9/10. Don’t wait on this one.

I've been playing it in early access but its cool to see its finally officially released. This one strikes me as a bit tougher than the first, but let's see what the final balance is like.
Don't worry, is just Inflation. Unless you are a great player & a speed runner for the first ending, then is ok to just unlock stuff, even randomly, just buy what you can. The game has a Game ++. You will always get overleved by the mobs unless you are "THE GRINDER".

Rogue Legacy is a stone cold classic. Its long awaited sequel receiving a nine from IGN set my heart a' racing, caused my eyes to become moist, and made gooseflesh erupt along my forearms and on the back of my neck.
It's not that deep. They gave Fortnite a 9.6

Achromatopsia is a thing. It’s where you don’t have any color vision and only see brightness (so black and white). It’s really rare but it does exist.

The one thing that stopped me finishing the first one was how enemies also levelled up as you did (though not as much). Hope this one doesn't do that.
Nope, it does not. RL2 is overall more polished than RL
Enemies are of a consistent level for each game or "thread" you play. Once you beat the final boss and start a new thread, the average level of the enemies will increase by a set amount if you move to a higher level thread. It is completely possible to be over leveled for the enemies your currently fighting. Later, you can go back to an easier thread to see just how much stronger you've gotten against lower level enemies.

Firstly, Xbox One and Xbox Series thingy are both consoles. Secondly, they are a very small team and wanted to focus on one console for day one release. It is very likely that they will bring RL2 to PlayStation and Switch in due time

can see theyve taken some aspects of hades in this game especially when it comes to the upgrades in the soul store, amazing game and super addictive, the amount of upgrades is insane

My only petty complaint about this game is the hero's, "bobbing" up and down while standing still, and how he sticks his weapon up in the air while running. It just looks a little ridiculous to me. Again, petty complaint.

It hit early access in 2020. Today marks the full release (ver. 1.0) and the completion of all of its planned launch features.

Dead Cells and Rogue Legacy 2 are very different from one another. And besides, this is the sequel to a game that probably influenced Dead Cells
