I love the RG line, but I'd love it more if we got some more grunts. Jegan, GM, Dogas, list goes on.
Still waiting for a RG of the Jegan and Geara Doga.

I suppose that’s what the HG is for. HG kits have been really good the past handful of years so I think they gonna keep RG for “main” MS kits while grunts will be HG. Keeps them low price too so we can by multiple grunts and pose them with a higher detail RG MS.

That is really, really nice out of the box. Bandai has been killing it since the RG Crossbone.
Agreed, I wish they would start on grunts though. RG Jegan and GM would be awesome.
@@Red14998 I think they need to replace the HG line completely with RG. Would love to collect them all if they really release RG grunt suits. And many old MG are due for some major update, Hopefully we will see a MGEX Nu soon. And what's even more important is that they need to release a PGU Nu, because many have been waiting for one forever.

I pre-ordered this kit as soon as it was available to do so and I can't wait to get it.
I think it is better to just wait until it actually releases. With how things have been going for Bandai, pre orders could be on hold or even canceled due to low distribution. I hope you do get tho.
@@Darth_Anomalous You are right and that's normally what I do. But the last few times I didn't pre-order a kit I wanted I ended up missing out and don't want to play scalper prices.

The hand that holds the gun would really benefit from a double jointed wrist.
Putting the Hi Nu on a stand instead of letting it stand on its own already show that it will be back heavy. If it did stand on its own, it would look like he's doing the Michael Jackson lean.
The fuel tanks actually acts as a stand while it's on its feet.

It does not have a stand I think but if you're gonna buy the Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher, it comes with 2 I think.

Honestly it looks far better than the rg nu imo. Longer face plate, better proportion. I don't really like that puzzle-like fin funnel though but overall it is probably the best looking rg gundam by a large margin.
@@blipblip the Hi-Nu also looks "more complete" IMO... just not really a fan of its colors. And I also think it should have had the "super" beam saber the Nu has (or even a pair)
@@srntnjl523 In your opinion what color scheme would you prefer? You rather they use the MG ver.ka one or stick to the HG or the og MG one?
IMO I really like the beefiness of the Hi-Nu. The RG Nu just looks too long with a truncated face and the proportion is way off. Usually I prefer the regular Nu design but in the RG line I think there is no question that the Hi-Nu is much more desirable.
@@blipblip I was actually never a fan of the hi-nu's color scheme. I actually prefer it to have the same color pallete as the normal nu gundam (some dark navy blue, yellows, and a tiny bit of red). Saw some custom builds of the MG using that color scheme, and I also had that recolored HG hi-nu kit from gunpla builders beginning G. I just think it looks better than the normal color scheme using those light shades of blue or purple.
As to the nu gundam itself, I didn't quite like its proportions in the movie or in its HG and MG iterations. Like you, it looking too long quite put me off it... but it's a different thing with its RG iteration. It's not much of a thin and long boi anymore. I just hope though that the hi-nu won't be too beefy given that it is shorter than the nu. As to which of the two kits I prefer, I still can't say until I actually get the RG hi-nu and compare it to my RG nu
@@srntnjl523 I hear you. I also like the normal Nu color scheme better. But I really don't mind the Hi-Nu's. Besides I paint my kits so it is a non-issue.
In terms of the proportion of RG vs MG ver Ka Nu I have a totally opposite opinion compared to yours. I first got the RG when it came out and I thought it was amazing (after 20 years of hiatus of gunpla). But then I got my hands on the MG ver.ka and I can't look at the RG Nu anymore without seeing all the flaws it has. MG ver.ka isn't perfect(short torso) but the proportion is much more pleasing in my eyes overall. RG just looks very forced with its surface details. And the short face plate is a total turn off to me when I can put the MG ver.ka side by side with the RG.
I hope they release a PGU Nu soon given how much of an upgrade in the look department the PGU RX-78 is.

Both HG and RG are 1/144 but the RG looks a lot taller. Does it means its size is closer to the RG Nu? Would love to see them side by side standing straight to each other
@Jack That's crazy since the default height of hi-nu is a bit shorter than that of the nu. I guess they just said screw the scale and let just make something nice and big. Maybe the extra height of the RG hi-nu is from that v-fin?
@Jack That would be lovely if you are right. But I feel like they will be roughly about the same height since the nu was already really tall for a 1/144.
Edit: upon closer inspection from this video I notice that the RG Hi-Nu's waist was extended which gives its the extra height.
Not sure, but something about this kit feels off. Maybe it's the fact they increased it's size or covered it in detail. Frankly, I'm excited but not that excited, especially cause it's been stuck up on that base for quite some time.
Given the overall size and heft of the Funnels ..... you need a stand especially when doing a LIVE STREAM . if you don't believe me, try doing one after you build the kit lol

You know for a fact that they made that Nightingale and Eclipse Gundam resale announcement purely due to the bad publicity caused by Hobby Japan 😅. It may have not involved Bandai directly but the fact that it was one of their products means that they couldn’t let the incident go unnoticed

Ultimately his views don’t represent the company’s views but considering the hype behind it and the fact that it was supposedly sold out everywhere on release day and he’s condoning reselling, it doesn’t look good for your company as a whole-ESPECIALLY when your company is promoting the product.

The HG version is the original design. The RG is a different design just like the hi-nu ver ka is another design version... There are 3 version of Hi-Nu out there to choose....
