For those still wondering how long it takes to apply water slide decals, it’s taken me 8 hours to do just over half of a sheet (Shenlong Liaoya). There are usually more than you need, especially for Ver.Ka kits. It’s painfully slow as you sit and wait for the decal to soak and then you meticulously adjust it. It’s exhausting work.
A tip that I find that makes it not as bad is do put the decals after you finish the part so if you are on the body build it put the decals on the next step then decals...it helps me alot to do it that way
@magistersolis.3750 Destroy?? That’s not supposed to happen, I’ve only experienced that with 30 year old decals. You cut around the decal so you have paper to grab with tweezers. Then you hold the soaked piece of paper, with the tweezers but not on the decal itself. Hold it up to the place where you want to place it. Use another tool, like the blunt end of a needle, to slide the decal from the paper to the area. Adjust quickly and decisively. Dab with tissue gently to soak up the water. When it’s all dry it’s best to apply a clear coat or they might fall or scratch off after a while.
While that's impressive , as a half gunpla ,half military kit modeller , 3 days isn't that much to me , a 1/72 scale's decals has taken me 6+ days to complete (mainly cause of tiny decals in the cockpit)
@Jessi Maldonado which version of the wing gundam are you talking about here exactly because all of the MG has been solid, with the Wing EW being the worst.
For anyone who's still interested in this kit, I recommend that you tighten the joints during the build especially on the legs, I also made the fin funnels better on my kit by tightening the dented connectors, make sure that you only add glue or whatever you use to tighten joints on the 3 little dents that go towards the exterior of the funnel to connect to the other one, and not all around the connector tho, because if you do it's gonna be harder to detach and put away to the opposite side.
For me, the RX-93 Nu Gundam has an historical importance in the UC timeline as it was the major turning point and the end of histories most great rivals Amuro Rey and Char Aznable... CCA has to be my most favorite Gundam movie in history
For MG Nu ver ka, it took me 10 hours straight to do all waterslides for it, as well as the HWS expansion set and double fin funnel expansion set. Was quite the time honestly. Didn't expect to finish it all in one sitting while listening to music
I might be mis-remembering, but one thing I really loved was the fact that when a mobile suit picks up a weapon, there is a slot in the manipulators the weapon handle interfaces with (Seen in 08MS Team) in order to install/load the weapon for use, kind of like plugging in a USB for your mobile suit! That's what I like to think of when I see the tabs in the PG style hands
I absolutely ADORE this kit, it was actually my third MG kit but I loved the Nu Gundam design so much that I couldn’t wait even though I wasn’t sure that I was ready at the time. I have placed all the water slides and I admittedly took my time but it took me well over a week. But it looks fantastic with them all on!

Small correction: The Nu does NOT have a full psycho-frame canonically, just around the cockpit. This is a non-canon Katoki redesign. EXCELLENT review!!!
Full Psycho frame is the coolest. Its very subtle which makes it perfect. plus im a fan boy for clear parts. The original Nu Gundam only has psycho frame around the cockpit which i love how Katoki added a little nod to that during the build, its a shame thats its hard to display the cock pit though,. you should've touched on that buy taking a picture during the build because the cockpit looks so effing awesome.

The best MS design for me is OO. I like the way it has sleek yet edgy lines, not too bulky. The feet could do some work, but the way the joints move and how its articulated is awesome. Next is the Norn. A black, imposing gundam with fiery orange streaks. Then, Freedom. That its a good all around suit without being excessive like the SF makes it to my list.
Putting all those water slide decals takes me more than a day! But after with that it makes the Nu Gundam more appealing.
