    As you know , I have watched your progress on WoW for many years , bought your book just for interest sake, but this video tops it all . The instructions are so detailed and show the detailed steps you are faced with .
    You are THE master of segmented work as far as I am concerned !

    So beautiful and impressive. I wondered why you didn't create a bunch of barrel culverts? They were used in the late 1800's on the transcontinental railroad. Long strips of wood with the same angle cut into them. Then glue them in long barrel shapes, and slice them to size, including the tampered angle. I'm sure you thought of that. Beautiful art. Thank you for sharing.

    Unbelievable! Extremely impressive. The thought you have given to this is without comparison. My hat is certainly off. One question, how many clamps do you own and how many thousands of dollars in tools must you have? Many congratulations on the newest additions to your family.

      Rick Leakey I’ve collected clamps for over 50 years. A rough estimate of all clamps, all types, is about 800. Regarding equipment, I have most of the necessary woodworking tools in a very crowded, tiny shop. Cost? Couldn’t even guess.

    A way to remove hot glue is alcohol. Just drip it onto the glued part and the glue pops right off, should save you a lot of work and clean up.

  • @kylwell
    @kylwell 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    As a note, freezing the hot glue will make it possible to pop the glue off the board and rings.

    • @reforzar
      @reforzar 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Malcolm Tibbetts a wide belt sander. Like a drum sander but more efficient at removing material and heats up less. Depending on the grit and wood hardness you could do tapering in one pass accurately. Drum sanders just don’t have the umph to get it done in my experience.
