Had exactly the same problem with mine, started off with heat soak in the starter intermittent starting when hot. Then had nothing at all, so assumed the starter had died, replaced the starter and still the same. Reckon the intermittent problem with the starter blew the fuse. Now perfect, thank you for this video wouldn't of had a clue otherwise.......thank to You Tube bloggers.
Great Video. My Peugeot 207 1.6 hdi does not, the motor starter does not do his job, it doesn't start when the engine is hot. If it's cold, the starter motor does his job and starts the engine. Could it be something else? The starter motor is difficult to replace.
Hi Iv just had this happen to me I found this video u have made and change the fuse it was blown so put new one in and it blown it again straight away soon as I turned the key what could be causing this many thanks

Joe my citroen xsara1.4 petrol years 2004 after tow off motor way to my home only part of electric work no dashboard light.headlight.wiper.engine crank. central locked fuse okay before tow every things work .limp mode how to get it off Help help any idea
I would advise to check all the fuses including some hidden fuses sits usually under ECU or fusebox. Also some fuses on the BSI board usually located under glove box. Good luck.
It was a clear fuse and can be seen from the top that the continuity was blown. But mainly you need to know which fuses are realted to starting system. And go from there. Better to use/ have fuse tester to check fuses.
@@bdbiometric thanks so much, it ended up being an issue with that starter motor that had to be replaced but now I know what all to check for before I bring it to my grease monkey.
bro i have the exact same problem when i try to start a get a economy mode active then the screen goes off i hear the first click every time i try 2 start it 100% like ur case here is it the same problem or the economy mode means something else ؟ thank you ..
@@NoorAlDeeN1 Economy mode due to not starting engine for long.... It's a battery saving mode. Engine not cranking/ starting due to stater motor unable to turn flywheel. So Starter motor is the main issue here I guess.
I have a similar problem but mine is 1.6 Turbo, had weak start and now no start... The battery is fine though... I doubt mine is related to the fuse, I think more the starter because it started as when u have a weak battery...
If it is then your starter motor is gone... Cheap to buy one from EBay. I am going to upload video how to change starter motor on 207 this week.. Very difficult as starter mounting bolts are difficult to access.
@@bdbiometric Thanks man, It was the starter, I did rebuild it though, 45 usd aprox and 3 month warranty job, works fine now.... Yes its a pain, had to remove part of the exhaust! Cheers
I have the same situation after rain, only the fuses are all intact, what could be the problem? If I start it forcibly, I can drive calmly until the new rain, battery working , Peugeot 207 1.4 hdi

Thank you so much bro, saved me a trip to mechanic, had the same issue on my Peugeot Expert Van

Water gets in there and will cause symptoms like wipers+lights on even if key not in ignition

Yeah, yeah but the right question is why this fuse was burned?
Exactly. Basic autoelectrical questions: What circuit does that fuse protect? What could have caused the overload?
Which fuse is it?
10/10 !!😊
Thanks you saved me 😘
You are welcome
saya menghadapi masalah ini..oil pump petrol tk berdengung bila masuk kunci dan bila hidupkan enjin bunyi crank tidak ada fius semua ok

I will do that right now
Is it only the 25 white fuse that i should test
Or all of them can be the problem

can i put 30A fuse instead ?
Best to put same rating fuse but for emergency purpose it's fine. Don't forget to swap with correct rating as soon you can.
my 206 fuse i dont know help
You disconnect the negative not the positive on the battery.
