Great tutorial. So much love in this updated piano and plug-in. It is clearly heard. The plug in sounds so good that playing the real Mark 8 must be glorious.
Have just purchased and downloadet this plugin , i had the real roads in the 70 on to the midt 80 , this plugin is by far the best i have tested , a very full sound with excellent dynamic range 😊 Bravo

Best sounding software/digital version of the true Rhodes piano I've heard thus far to date. Great job fellaz. It's very flexible as well with a variety of different Rhodes sounds per genre`, also the onboard EFX are solid asfk/killer. Won't be needing any additional efx plugins with this baby lol. The sound Is also very "pristine". Sounds like Crystal bell chimes. So eloquent, classy, yet has a very energetic, lively, but smooth presence In tonality. 10/10
Hi Dan. I have zero experience with VST’s and music production, but I want to buy an AKAI 37 Keys MPC. Would I be able to use this plugin to produce a Rhodes piano effect? Thanks for the video.
Dan, If I buy the V8 plugin I understand it only runs inside or as part of another program such as GarageBand. However if I want to use it for performance purposes what's the best way to use it on my Apple laptop computer. You can't just install it on the laptop and having it running on it's own can you?
Hey Max! That's correct that the V8 runs inside a DAW or host currently. However for live use Apple's Mainstage (availble from the Mac App Store) would be my suggestion as it allows the V8 to be used in a more gig friendly environment than in Logic or Garageband. Let me know if you need any more advice. Cheers!

I've missed the Missing Keys competition entrants discount for the V8 by a couple of days which is a bit of a nuisance as I would like to eventually buy it. I enjoyed using it to soundtrack the video and it taught me about using GarageBand too.
My main Complaint about this Plugin is that it takes up the entire screen 🖥️ Why do companies make the plugin so big with no ministration modifications! The size it reduces to should be the maximum or standard size then it should go smaller! The wasted space is ridiculous the Plugin doesn’t need to be so big not all the time! The functionality is not effected by the size so why start so big the model of the Mk8 is digital! So why make it so Big as if it needs to be the size of the actual model the size is an issue! The plugin takes up the entire screen surely it doesn’t need to be so big can it be made smaller & updated? Please make it smaller because it doesn’t need to be so big the size it can reduce to should be it’s main size! It doesn’t need to be bigger than that in my opinion and it should be able to reduce in size from there! Not sure why it would need to be bigger than that & why start it at full size if the smallest it goes is still big? The size should start small considering is not configured for Laptops & that should be the standard scaling Why scale for big Screens, That only makes sense if you only wanted big studios with big screens to use it! The fact that it starts massive & requires uses to reduce it shouldn’t be the standard it should start small or medium! The need to go bigger than its smallest size is only welcomed by those who have massive screens that actually think the smallest it goes is fine! But it is still Big even when reduced so I don’t appreciate the Size of the Plugin why mimic the size of Big Unit Devices? It Should be resizable to fit the Users needs not just as big as it is to a size that is still big & not smaller options! The Size should adjust if & when the Size is needed otherwise the smaller the better because I don’t see why it needs to be so big! Same with a lot of other plug-ins that are big for nothing taking up the Entire Screen for nothing it’s bad design! As if they only used the massive screen for creating & designing without even thinking of smaller screen Or without even testing on smaller screens they only see Big Screens so they think the Reduction is a massive Reduction! The Fact the Plugin starts of Big Screen Mode & only reduces to the Size it should have been from set up! The Small is none existent because that is still Big so is really double “XXL” to Large no Small or Miniature mode! Love the Sounds but disappointed with the Look&Size because is way too Big & a waste of space on Screen! ♾️⚖️🪶⚖️♾️

No internet required once installed. Can be used on all DAW’s with any midi controller of your choice.
It’s holding sustain for me, and doesn’t do it for any other vst. Is anyone experiencing this issue?
