So happy to be back with a new video where we get to paint and relax together! If you want to join me on a magical adventure in-person next year, join me for my watercolor retreat here! Only a few spots left: makoccino.com/franceretreat
I finally got Mako's book 'No-Fail Watercolor' for my birthday this weekend and I'm SO HAPPY!! Spending this morning absorbing all the information with a nice coffee, I'm having such a lush birthday ❤
Before you added the gold I was thinking it looked like a swimming pool (as if the black lines were a distorted pattern on the bottom of the pool and the white lines were light reflections on the surface). Very pretty
@@whitewave1480 Came here to comment the same 😅 I think before the gold it was perfect. But sometimes you have to try stuff and it may not look good at the end
You’ve used some really interesting techniques here, especially with the cling film, I’ve not seen much created this way before, it definitely looks a lot easier than painting with watercolour and avoiding the lines each time
I can relate to this. Sometimes I just place wavy lines on paper, just to have some shapes to fill with beautiful colors. It doesn't look like anything and it doesn't mean anything, but just seeing the watercolor paint doing its thing is interesting enough.
I just found your site by accident and stayed for the beautiful and gentle lines and colors. I've also subscribed because I've been looking for help getting started exploring watercolors for relaxation.
I really miss mako with art journal thursday every week but things change so as people so im still glad you havent left us despite not being active on posting here anymore
Your videos are indeed relaxing and beautiful. And you always motivate and give positivity through your videos and arts🎨. I really love whenever you say to have fun while painting something❤. Love your art and videos so much......❤👍🏻
hello ! Your videos are really amazing and relaxing to watch, thank you so much for making those ❤ I tried to follow your steps for this one and was wondering, in order to improve, how did the black marker did not draken your blue watercolor ? ✧∘* My result was quite different from the video but i still LOVED making it

I'm autistic and I'm having a hard time right now and this helped me calm down immediately. Thank you.

I liked it better before she out the gold.

I like the gold as well, it just reminded me more of water before the gold was added.

Our advantage: we now know how it looks with gold and can create our work without 😎
Very peaceful. What is the marker you are using to make the black lines? Is it acrylic?

This might finally get me to break out my paints... This turned out beautifully 💕 is the book you use linked anywhere?
It's perfect for simply putting paint to paper! It's the perfect sketchbook by Etchr from the signature edition!
missed you. ❤
Which watercolor Set Do you use in this video? Schmincke? Or white nights?
These are mostly schmincke horadam :)
I’m the first one to like
Your work is beautiful, watercolors help me handle anxiety. I'm sorry but I want to know what do u use the plastic for?
Thank you! The plastic creates a beautiful pattern once the paint has dried! You apply it to wet paint and then let it dry!
And first one to watch
It was me, your coment is 46 seconds mine is one minute
which brand of water colors are you using in this video?
These are mainly Schmincke Horadam!

I know it's awkward but could you please paint a zombie scenery
Plese post begginers drawing penci for 11 years old
If I copy you, my page would be a lumpy mess of greenish brown algae.
That's how a real permanent alcohol marker looks like 😅
🤣🤣🤣
That is a good question: what brand do you use?
@@TheSeductiveDaisy schminke horadam
@@TheSeductiveDaisy it's an Edding pen :)
Wow that's actually pretty cool.
