Loving how these are turning out so far. I like how your put 3 different paintings on the same paper so it seems more manageable even though your still covering the same area if that makes sense
Thank you for stating how important using good paper is. Alot of beginners don't know this and they get frustrated, especially if their painting doesn't look like the tutorial painting. When it's really the paper that's the problem, not their skill level. A brush that holds water well helps, especially with this technique. But it's not as important as the paper, in my opinion. Also, the statement about not being perfect is spot on. Beautiful as always. Thank you for the tutorial.
I absolutely looove the clouds in the middle section.. there's just something about them that almost makes them real! 😍 ..thank you for the tutorial.. makes me want to try!!
My fellow artist, thank you for taking the time to create this video. Lately, I have been struggling to find a push to create any kind of art. Mostly enjoy digital drawings and I have been trying to practice more, but things just seem hard and difficult, but thanks to your creativity and sharing this with us, you have helped a lot and pushed me to take the time and practice. Wishing you all the best and creating more :)
Loving this real time video/ tutorials these are my favorite type of videos just relaxing and like were just hanging out painting together. Have a great day
Oooo yay. I love your watercolor videos. I'm super new to doing free style stuff and its intimidating to me. So watching you gives me inspiration and wanting to try it again :) to keep going and give it a chance . ;)
so good to see you painting again. you were one of the first creators i fallowed when i started my water color journey after a decade of graphite only work. color was a scary place after all that time but you made me want to go for it. thank you :)
thank you so much for your lovely tutorial, your guidance is beginner friendly, you explain things clearly, with a pace that I can actually follow without panicking of falling too much behind, and your voice is so soothing, I felt meditative. Thank you so much! this really helped me relax and enjoy my free time. Send you a love from France
Wow.. I love how you teach ! When you do the paintings it seems to be so easy... Today I tried these 3 pics ... So hard to dosis the amount of water as well pigments. Keep on doing this beautiful work. Lord bless you.
So good! Thank you for this, and for pointing out the paper quality makes a difference. My washes look horrible compared to yours but I know I don’t have ideal paper. The reminder that it’s not my fault (besides not having the right supplies yet) was very kind!
Love your vids. I work with watercolor paints and pencils. On the pencils, I only recently learned about the Tim Holtz/Ranger distress pencils. Plan to try them out.
Trying out some new to me cottonless wc paper to make bookmarks. They will be Christmas gifts for many children in many countries in gift boxes.loved your demo.thank you.
Why i ever stopt using watercolours i don,t know but now i wanna start again. Sutch beautifull colours. I also paint whit acrylic and oil paints. I love how you paint whit the watercolours Makoccino
so lovely and lovely to watch. I finally did a watercolor painting the other day, using a 12 pack of cheap paints that were surprisingly good imo, at least for learning. The paper was from a $3 "dollar store" and while the colors looked nice, it warped badly lol. Not at the specific places, the whole sheet curled up, but with a book on it over night it was fine and I framed it :D I used some Princeton Aqua Elite brushes, and since then have purchased better paper. anyway, thanks for sharing!
Great work! I got inspired to make a postcard out this and send it someone I know. If it's not too much to ask for, could make a video on DIY postcard ideas for the back end? Thanks regardless 💓💓

I have been trying really hard to get it dark in the top and light in the bottom I have used my whole page trying to get the gradient I even divided it into 24 parts.
Start from light to dark? Do you mean start with yellow vs start with blue? What if you are making something really light blue but want to use a deep yellow? So I guess, light to dark or light value of color vs dark value of color? Does this question even make sense?! haha
Stupid question, you wouldn't sell this would you? I love distant objects and sky, I never asked to buy a painting before, not sure why I am right now.
Just to be a smartass...for anyone watching with very little experience, accidentally splashing some water on a painted surface that's dry can still cause some of the color to lift and create those faded spots in my experience. It probably depends on both the paper and the paint you're using (how fast and well the pigment settles, how dark or bright the pigment is etc) and how fast you dry it off, of course. But I think there's always a small risk when you're working on different paintings side by side like this. If you're really working on something that you want to be 'perfect' in that sense, the only way to completely avoid that is to let the different sections dry completely and cover them with a sheet of paper or something.
The thumbnail is SO gorgeous. Looking forward to watching the whole vid later.

What is the width of the tape you use? It looks perfect for giving a border.
Here's a fun fact: The surface area of an average-sized brick is 79 cm squared.
Please subscribe for more facts!

Je ne comprends pas l'anglais et je c'est fort dommage qu'il n'y a pas de sous titrage en français, car ces tutoriels sont très instructifs
