Secondly, I seriously have to say thank you to Caleb for such a cool series and Riff for the funny edits. People can say what they what, but Caleb and Riff really are a great team.
That shop was definitely very cheeky to say those things, accusing you of lying. They most definitely looked the price up while they cleaned the discs for you.Im glad you walked away from them but it's a shame you missed out on the games. I’m in the UK so the laws might be different but from what I know it’s actually illegal to look at cctv if you’re not certified. Even if the cctv is for your shop, you’d still need someone to come and view it for you because otherwise if you take it to court, you could be accused of tampering with the evidence even by just watching it

Picked up a PS3 Folklore game for 3$ at my local store. Comps are $71.00 for a complete copy. Also bought sealed Original Xbox games for a few bucks each as well. Bought also today a PS2 with games for $30CAD

You did the right thing. You never attack a customer like that who's willing to buy stuff from your store. People like this will go out of business and have their inventory picked up for a fraction of the price when they go through tough times.
Good job leaving that Accusatory pawn shop. If your uncomfortable with the deal its best to walk away, and not feel obligated. PS1 are just not as available as they used to be. You'd probably have an easier time attempting this at a convention. MDK is a great shooter with a sense of humor. I would have grabbed that from Game King. Look for either of the gundam battle assault games. They were amazing ps1 fighters. I have fond memories of unlocking all the secret characters on that.
I would have pulled the trigger on the Phantom Menace game for sure... I loved that game when it came out. Also, don't beat yourself up about that guy. He was in the wrong and should not have treated you that way no matter what.
I saw it in one of the stores, and I'm surprised no one recommended it, but you absolutely have to pick up You Don't Know Jack for PS1 at some point. Legendary series and wonderful game
Awesome video. Admire you walking away after the price change. While PS2 is probably my favorite console of all time, PS1 feels a little more nostalgic and pulls at my heartstrings the most. First console I ever had at home. I still remember the day we got ours in crazy detail.

Also they take a copy of your license in order to go in. On top of that any game you select off shelves they change the price at the counter after looking it up. New Super Gametime in Southgate MI.

Tbh you gotta get the small soldiers game. That game is the only reason I wanna fix/buy My old/new playstation. You got syphon filter which is also one of the games I always went back to. But my 5 favorite games were small soldiers, toy story 2, medi evil, syphon filter and the lost world Jurassic Park game. Definitely recommend all those but I know some might be 15-25 dollars. Wish you the best also hope you get to play all of them.

I'd bet a million dollars they looked up the price of the game hoping you wouldn't catch them while buffing it up for you to seem sly. Either way, I'm dodging that place!

I really enjoy the series so far, I think as long as the budget is in a good spot, you'll find a gold mine of games and get as close to your goal as you can by the end of the week!

This flipping business is not easy, most just show the easy side so people then think oh that's easy or that's not work etc... then when they try and come across all these roadblocks or how much of a pain it is to look for,clean, take photos, list etc.. they start thinking all these videos are fake. Just like any job, it has its ups and downs and it's good to show both realistically.

US market is crazy compared to UK. The fact you can buy DS Lites for $42 which is £35 and still make profit, its easy to find DS lites in the UK I bought 2 for £4/$5 but they only sell on ebay for around £18/$22. There's hardly any way to make profit second hand here as there's only really 2 pawn shop chains and they mostly price in line with ebay but you can catch them out with some prices and then just getting lucky in charity shops. Also Asda which is Walmart, asking to check their stock and scanning older titles they have that have gone to clearence

Pawn shops and goodwill stores need to realize people go to those stores looking for deals, not to pay what they can get things off of eBay for. If they had better prices they’d sell more and not sit on stock for 10x longer than they should. It’s especially annoying with Goodwill because their inventory is ALL FREE!!!
What was really not a good start was before they falsy accused him they made him turn his camera off making it look even more shady they legit eliminated any way for him to prove his innocence and decided to just right off the bat accuse him of something they couldn't prove

That's why i would go to Cartridges, i recently bought 13 games and a controller for the PS2 and that includes Smackdown SYM and the SVR games.

@@kenkendavis you would think so heck there probably edited or turned off when its convenient for them wouldnt surprise me with the way they acted 🤷 I know I would never buy from them and judging by there massive stock looks like we arnt alone clearly they got product coming in but not going out shocker 🤷
