Yes sir; Any time. And yea the SCSI has been used allot in this synthesizer especially if you had it since Korg released it. Now we don’t have to deal with Hard Drives Anymore , Hahaha. If you have any questions Michael feel free to email me at edgar13music@gmail.com ; I’ll be happy to assist you. Have a great day!
@@EG-dy2hz Thank you so much bro! Yes I have had my KTC since 2003. I bought it to supersede my KORG 01w/fd. I since bought an M3 to supersede that! Nothing has yet superseded my Korg O1w/fd! LOL! :) However the 'usability' of the KTC is wonderful :)
@@michaelmewis4761 I was just thinking of the Korg 01W , I want it so badly lol and use Dyno Piano. Definitely it’s better if you have the hardware then on VST/Kontakt.

hmm, I bought one of these after watching your video and I haven't been able to get past the formatting step, where I just get an error message saying "disk not formatted". Is there a specific kind of sd card required for this to work? or does anything need to be done to a brand new sd card before installing it in the exb-ssd?
Hey brother I was wondering if you could help me out. It's hard enough being an Apache Native in Norway. I am trying to stay inspired and I can use your help with the Triton Studio EXBMOSS. I can't seem to load the data without erasing my factory presets. Now I know there is a way to do this. I did it before but I cannot find any videos on the process. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you Silverbird
If you are loading EXB-MOSS synth board Program data, it can only go into Bank F (128 Programs). You can, however, load individual MOSS programs from floppy disk/SCSI drive/and I think CD-RW drive if installed on your Studio and overwrite your choice of individual MOSS Program in Bank F. If you're instead loading a standard (regular PCM subtractive synth) Program Bank, you can load the entire Bank into your choice of 13 Banks on the Studio model (Internal A-E, External A-H). In Disk Mode you have to select a disk to load from, open the PCG folder where Program Bank you want to load is located, open the "Programs" folder containing the individual Program Banks list, select the Program Bank you want to load, touch the Page Menu down-arrow icon in upper-right corner of touchscreen to open dropdown menu, and choose "Load Selected". You can then specify into which Bank (of the 13) you want to load - obviously, avoid any Bank with Programs you don't want to overwrite (e.g. your factory presets). You can also do same thing with Combi Banks (12 memory locations),
Hey there, Yes Absolutely You have memory of 4 GB And You can save anything you want, Whether is Piano Samples, Sequence Recording, Saving Programs and Combinations with Appregiators. Everything you can save in 1 Disk which is the EXB SSD. The Best thing is. When you want to load your sounds with KSC with KMP. You dont have to go one by one like when one use to have a floppy disk. With Floppies you needed like about 20 Floppies to load your sounds now you dont neet Floppies. Everything goes in with just 1 Little Machine 😀.
@@EG-dy2hz dope! I used to have an EPS 16 plus but I just got this board so I don’t know what the hell I’m doing yet. Going back to floppies sounds awful though. I think this is the way to go! Does this include the USB port and u just need the cable?
@@spacedigital23 You can buy a Printer Cable in Amazon around 6$ and from there you can transfer files from your PC To your keyboard just make sure you Turn your keyboard on and have it on Combination mode, Transfer files but dont play around with the Triton during that Process of Transfer, or else it can Corrupt 👍

I wouldn’t recommend it on rack because it will be really hard to deal with it since the Triton Rack doesn’t have a touch screen to play around with. It is better to keep the floppy disk . And use this on Keyboard instead
If your Rack has SCSI port option, buy a SCSI emulator (e.g. BlueSSCSI, ZuluSCSI, PiSCSI) instead. Cheaper by far and more versatile. (In fact, the card in this vid probably not available anymore since SCSI emulators "obsoleted" it!)
Thank you for this video. My SCSI has broken down so this looks like a good alternative.

This is awesome. I thought my data was doomed. Will this work on a Korg Triton Studio 88 key?
Yes it should work since it’s the same model 👍”Triton”
Thank you very much.

Only 2 left as I'm writing this. Wondering if this works for a Korg Karma too.
Does this still work as it should? And also for Triton Pro X?
HI, I clicked the link to ebay with no stock available... could you be kind enough to help if I can order one for my Triton Studio Pro X?

it needs a sd card like lexar, pny, sandisk, kingston, etc, but they have to be the new hc style otherwise wont work, good luck!!!

Can’t you use 16 gb thumb drive with the USB floppy drive?
nope!!!
