  • Jeremy Jacobowitz is in Montreal, Canada looking for the best food in the city, and on his third day there he is hitting up some of the classics the city has to offer. First stop is the Jean Talon Market, followed by Lester's Deli for a smoked meat sandwich, Gibeau Orange Julep for a hot dog, and Mcdonald's for a Canada only poutine!

Rental cars communauto are best for day rides, ..
Or Sherbrooke metro station has an economic rental service.
Parking like any city is a pain in the 💥 have to pay automatic meters

I'm surprised you didn't try Schwartz's for smoked meat! People like to compare Schwartz's to Katz's in NYC. Schwartz's I'd say is even better than Katz's as it uses fattier cuts and is smoked longer which results in a way better texture and flavor in its meat!
Try also Ma Poule Mouillee which is across the street from La Banquise. They do AMAZING Portugese chicken and they also have a Portugese chicken poutine that beats La Banquise (in my opinion).

@@BrunchBoys There is a takeout only section next door to the dine-in restaurant. It's a much shorter wait and you can take the sandwich to a park and eat it there! Just so you know for next time :D
