Low Moisture Dirty Carpet Cleaning!

Hey Everybody,
Thanks for checking out our newest clip! In this installment we're running the Swirly with an oversized driver. The 15" model comes standard with a 15" driver. However, you can also use a 17" driver. This is particularly important if you're doing large commercial jobs as it allows you to use larger pads giving you the ability to clean more square footage in less time.
Notice that since this is an oversized driver it exceeds the brush cover. This means you'll want to be careful when cleaning near baseboards, doors and furniture as these can all be easily marked with a bare driver.
Also, something you'll notice about half way into the clip is Erik reapplying Citrus Dragon. This was due to the product drying down. This can severely hamper the cleaning process (not to mention the risk of running the pad drier than it should be). Damp carpet and pads are critical not only to reducing the potential for friction burn, but it also effects the overall cleaning process.

Isnt it better to use machines such as the Orbot Vibe which has a spray attached? Seems like if you spray the whole room first by the time you get to it it will have dried up. I have no experience with carpet cleaning and am looking into this. So i am trying to learn as much as possible.

In residential, most prefer to pre-spray with a brief dwell. In commercial, most want to simultaneously spray and scrub.
The Swirly has a solution tank that will allow you to encap the carpet like you would with a Cimex. Simply pull the lever and solution is fed from the tank through the pad. This allows you to apply solution, scrub and clean all in one pass!
We also have a our Spray 'n Scrub model that has the on-board sprayer and gravity feed!

Always wondered how pre spray (higher ph cleaner) , crb then pre spray (lower pH) then bonnet extraction with the Swirly would turn out. Never tried because still haven't pulled the trigger on a crb. Any thoughts ? Or ever tried ?
