I have been using rotary for 25 years using rotary. I own various OP machines but prefer the rotary for residential as I find in virtually every situation it is a better choice. I have more than 100 videos on youtube (Oxy-Dry) showing the rotary machine in action and dealing with many different situations successfully. My standard procedure is pre vacuum with a Kirby, apply solution with showerfeed rather than spray. Pre scrub with a fibre pad then follow that with a Tuway, cotton or microfibre and then post vacuum. We get nothing but 5 star reviews and most carpets dry in about 1 hour. I use my Orbot and CX17 for larger commercial jobs like condo buildings where I find they are better suited to operate. I like the rotary better for residential.
Excellent video and I'll give you two thumbs up for wearing shoe covers. I've seen videos when people have went out to there vehicle and tracked in contaminants on the carpet or floors that there working on. I've got many compliments from home owners for wearing shoe covers.
Hi Stephen, I saw one of your before and after pictures at the end. In reference to the one with a desk that looked like it had a plastic protector down; those are hard to get to the exposed carpet fibers to match the covered carpet fibers, and you did a real good job on matching the fibers. Could you tell us your method when you encounter these situations? Thank you.
Are you referring to the Tuway style pad or genuine rayon? Tuway pads (synthetic fiber) aren't nearly as absorbent as cotton, microfiber or genuine rayon.
Hey you mentioned the end caps store a lot unfortunately I'm having a bad problem with them every time you click on something to buy something everything's mostly everything's out of stock I called the gentleman they picked up and obviously I'm still waiting for the owner to call me back never did I don't know what's going on with the end cap your advertising them and they really don't have much to sell sorry to say it
First off everyone that has a truckmount is also equipped to VLM. Eveeyone that only does VLM does not have a truckmount. 3 + floor in a building VLM makes since, rugs VLM makes since. Residential VLM is because you can't afford a truckmount.
Idk man. I have a truck mount. VLM forces you to take your time. Taking the time to do a job right is the most important factor. There are no 'splash n dash' VLM cleaners I assure you.
Hi Steve,
You are a natural as a teacher. Really appreciate your video's and the way you present your process.

Thanks for the tips. I just started a carpet cleaning business and use the Encap products.

So do you spray before each pass?
Why has the rayon scrub bonnet followed by the long loop rayon fallen out of favor? No one in newer videos are using them.
Are you referring to the Tuway style pad or genuine rayon? Tuway pads (synthetic fiber) aren't nearly as absorbent as cotton, microfiber or genuine rayon.
I was referring to the ones in the video which he indicated were rayon.
Does using this technique allow for residue to be left on carpets? I keep hearing other companies like Chem dry talk bad about this. Thanks
what size is your floor machine ? ..
Rotary was the original carpet cleaning method, we have gone back; but with better cleaning supplies and chemicals.

What are you seeing that's out of stock? Call us at 866-974-0202
I guess you have to come back in 3 hours to get your fans and possibly post vac?
Not at all

Spelling? Can’t afford truck mount?
Truck mount useless in New York City. Better off with vim or portable.
