- In this video we will show you how to clean carpets with very low moisture. We will use trinity phoenix to encapsulate the carpets but before that we used pump up sprayer and sprayed chemical down to give us best results. Take a look at the video please 🙂
I used to me a "hater" of this type of cleaning and I felt that if I didn't get the hot water extraction method I was getting cheated lol. But I did a test and extracted AFTER I did this method and I totally expected to find a crap load of dark dirty water - and I didn't!! WHAT! I was flabbergasted - wow. I even had "debris" floating up out of the carpet and had to vacuum it again the second time.
I know there is some thick grease stuff where the heat is imperative, but a guy could easily make a great living just doing this, and stay away from restaurants!
I studied the different machines, and even though these things cost more, they are orbital and at the same time have a jackhammer motion too. If you call and talk to them on an off day, I find they can be a bit rude on the phone, but the equipment is great!

VLM when perfecting the technique and steps can actually produce an even better finish to the carpet then HWE.
But!! The one thing it's not capable of pulling saturated soil and liquid urine etc from below the carpet fibers which therefore HWE it is still a vital cleaning system to have but I am a VLM Fanboy and also do it on the side from my 9 to 5:00 job and I actually have before and after pictures of doing a aqua greenish blue blue soiled carpet where I completely revived the colors using nothing more than green dragon boost it with a little bit of peroxide.
@@ctpreddog1411 The other disadvantage is you are leaving a chemical in the carpet that's not at all guaranteed to come out in the following vacuum cleaning and some vacuum cleaners don't work well at all with encap residue. I am sure when we moved into an apartment our Rainbow overfoamed due to someone possibly using encap to clean the carpets. Most conventional vacuum cleaners also use a flow through motor and picking up the encap residue can clog the filters and cause the motor to overheat. The preferred vacuum to remove this residue is a direct air machine like a commercial Sanitaire or a Kirby or similar machine as they have a bypass cooling system and everything would be pushed into the bag. Hot water extraction is the only solution I would use to clean my carpets. In fact, who uses dry shampoo to clean their bodies? It's nowhere as effective as actually taking a shower and rinsing off, same goes to washing dishes. We use hot water and detergent to wash our dishes, not a dry foam.

Hot water extraction is great, but just remember if there is a lot going on down underneath the carpet into the padding and you get it too wet you can turn that into a horrible mess.
Both have advantages and disadvantages
We have a Phoenix and we love it. Haven't been able to see it on residential yet but if we need to whip it out, it'll be ready to kick butt. Great machines!
This would be great ASMR, the sound of that machine is very soothing

Probably because it was pushing all of the crud deeper into the carpet. Basically he probably did the same job as a Dyson.

Truckmount and hover were both very good marketing.
Encapsulation is the newest way of cleaning. In the last 5 years it has come a long way.
The problem with hwe/steam clean it's 60/70's technology.
Hwe is for restoration only.
Vlm is withou the best for residential. Yes you still do pet urine removal by having a small extractor. The could be a spotter or walk behind extractor.
If you want top class machines it's not cheap.
Unfortunately many TH-cam guys say vlm only they shampoo with made up products. The encap products are the way forward.
Don't know what you're talking about, there was a video of a guy using an encap machine from the early 60s. It looked like a beefy Kirby under a 1940s bakelite radio shell. The machine is called a VonSchrader and is one of the ugliest, if not most awkward devices someone could have made. I'm not sure why people use encapsulation because in my point of view you are leaving solution in the carpet and isn't guaranteed to be completely removed by the end of the next vacuum cleaning. This fellow should have invested in a portable, even a machine that's compact like the Rotovac CFX. A machine about the size of a portable vacuum cleaner that has continuous water flow from a sink and all recovered water goes out to a toilet. Granted, it requires two circuits to run the machine but a couple of extension cords going over the railing to a generator or plugged into two circuits in the house would be better than this.

HWE would have actually given a better result. At least with that the hot water and vacuum removes almost all of the soils and rinses any residual solutions away. This method requires a thorough after-vacuuming as well. Kinda pointless as most vacuums can only remove so much.

10 yrs with a truckmount and vlm does just as good job I certain situations
This was a 4 th floor so I couldn’t do much with Truckmount I didn’t have a parking it was too complicated and too much snow.
I notice people who have truckmounts get mad at people who do VLM only lol. Is it bc the person paid alot for their truckmount while the guy who is doing VLM is in the green profiting their first week? Both systems have pros and cons
I don’t really care i can do both and with both i can have awesome results. But for the residential I highly recommend Truckmount because of pet stains and other stuff.

Yes its an orbital machine and i use Tops pads from Tops products 🙂

Definitely would look great with extraction.
We wanted to do it with the Truckmount but there was no parking at the building so we told the customer there was this option and she told us to go ahead. She loved it paid us and we were both happy. What else can you ask for 🙂

Hey thank you for subscribing to my channel, i didn’t buy encap from tops just their trinity I bought encap products in Canada here its called ultracap double strength but if you live in USA you can buy tops encap products or Mark saigers as well both of them are awesome 🙂

I use VLM too, when the TM is not an option. Orbot Vibe. The issue I have with it, is what does the carpet FEEL like when it's done? I know 9 out of 10 people are concerned with the look, but I personally am concerned with how it feels. Any thoughts?
Honestly man i checked all rooms with carpets after it was done and carpets were super dry. What i did on the end i also groomed the carpets. This chemical i used ultracap double strength works amazing and it has soil repellent in it. So that means it prevents from re soiling 🙂

@@Matt-Olive-Digital I couldn’t do hwe here due to a high rise apartment this was the only option. Customer was happy with the cleaning and that was the most important thing. Plus they sold this apartment in less then 24 hours. There was no concerns at all.
