Freaking Anime characters! They are just like the cartoon, running everywhere they go and they are so freaking loud! And I can say that, I'm part Asian and they annoy the crap out of me with the running and hands in the horses face.
Here in England ,we get regular documentaries ,on TV,showing Asian ,people respecting and honouring ,each other and ancestors,by bowing and burning incense etc.We are told that respect is a big deal .Then they come here ,and all heck breaks out ,with shouting and pushing ,and ignorance .WHY ?

You’re right though about the pushing and shoving, after about the 3rd time I started standing my ground. It’s not that difficult to be polite and respectful.

Holy crap! Shoving that umbrella in the horse's face! I tell you, these military horses are solidly trained. Even so, it was quite alarmed. The woman had exactly zero awareness of her effect. She is probably only dimly aware that the horse is a living, thinking being. 🙄 People grow up so far removed from Nature.
I don't even like being run at with an umbrella. I dislike umbrellas greatly & I think umbrellas are stupid & unweildy & take up your hands , needed for more important things.
I think those small umbrellas should be banned. I’m just at the right height to get a spoke in my eye. I’ve got one of those large golf umbrellas and I’m safe.
In all fairness, tourists arent educated and aware of the regulations in other countries. Signs need to be clearly visible about respect, not touching the horse or guards, caution around scaring the horse etc.
