Nice video!! I'm planning on doing the same here but not sure what to do to make the ammo can waterproof. Did you do anything to avoid leaks or had any issues with it? Cheers!
I didn't worry too much about waterproofing it. I drilled holes in the bottom of the ammo can to let any water out. Haven't had any issues with it so far.
Thinking about installing the same thing in my decked system. I'm waiting for the drawers to arrive yet....Is the connection at the battery pretty straight forward???
I thought it was pretty straight forward, the only part that required a little extra work was slicing in long enough wire to reach the battery from the back of the bed. The ARB instructions suggest keeping the in-line fuses close to the battery so I had to cut them off the supplied wiring and splice in enough to reach the battery.
@@2ndChanceOverland got the template. Mark on the inside or outside of the ammo can? There are ribs on the outside of the can that would be in the way of the template. Would think you can’t get a drill on the inside. 90 degree drive drill?
I believe I did use a 90 degree drill with a small step drill bit to get the initial hole drilled, then used a regular bit of the correct size to clean up the hole and open it up to the required size.
Nice job bro
Thanks!

Also, do you have a link to those chucks you installed on the bed rack for your air hose??

How did you layout the bolt pattern to mount the compressor in the ammo can?
The air compressor came with a paper template. I used that to mark the holes and drill through the ammo can.
