    Is that cake flour you used or just normal flour ?

      I used all purpose flour, but you are more than welcome to use cake flour.

    about the baking stage should I use the gas or fan or both in the stove? The heat should be only bottom or both up and down? Thanks

    Followed the recipe to a tee (used bake and NOT convection bake, exact temperatures and times) using a gas oven in the US and the inside was 2/3 raw, likely need to to increase temperature and bake time a little. I think after adjusting the temperature and bake time the cake will turn out good.

      I know what you mean. I have tried to follow two recipes from Cooking tree (one for cookies one for souffle cheesecake) and both times I had to adjust the time... I don't know how but asian ovens are... different? 🤓

      Actually we have to check the actuall oven temperature. Some oven has different temperature from the mumber that we set to bake. Using the oven thermometer can help you to check the correct oven temperature. Also every circumstance of baking are different, so we need a little adjustment for baking. Through this experience, you can get your baking time.

    Thank you for sharing, I tried, I use a thick yogurt but when I test with skewer it does not come out clean so the whole cake I baked for 1 hour plus still not cooked

      Hello, thank you for watching my video.
      The total hour of baking can vary because of diffrent oven temperature adn circumstances. Please give that a more time, or you can bake the cake on little bit higher temperature.
      Thank you so mcuh watching my video and ask me.

      @@BlossomKitchen thank you for your reply, so may I ask if I do the skewer test so is supppsed to clean? I am thinking of is because the type of yogurt I use ?
      So is it true this cake doesn’t need any oil ? Can a cake cook without any oil ?

      I believe it doesn't matter the kind of yogurt.

      I typically buy only thick Greek style yogurt. The yogurt used in this cheesecake is a little bit more liquid. Did you try it again, and if so, did it turn out ok?

    My house oven is the normal one which top and bottom heat temperature control both at same time, cannot separate control, will this affect the cake ? What temperature should I use ?

    • @BlossomKitchen
      @BlossomKitchen  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would like to recommend you to use the bottom heat or the "bake" setting only.That way, the entire oven heats up and cooks it from all sides at one time. The top heat, “broil,” is cooking with direct heat on one side at a time.This setting is to make casseroles, meat, and pies. This setting is also the preferred setting for a bread.
      Top element will cause the food to brown too quickly, and then the top would burn by the time the inside of the cake would not be done.

    My cake sinks and becomes all flat and squished after about 30mins of taking it out of the oven. What happened?

    • @BlossomKitchen
      @BlossomKitchen  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jessylum3102 It might be under cooked I guess. Please increase the baking time, it will help to slove this problem.
      In terms of baking time, it can be more and less than recipe because everybody has different cooking environment.
