I would have to agree with you. The second set of gals are more in sync than any of them. And the one in the middle has such a unique awesome style. She makes me think she is in rewind on some of the moves, The gal in the yellow on the first video defineately has the charisma to definately catch your eye with here "Poppin Style".
I found each leader in the each of the four choreographed sessions telling a different story 1. Broken, heartache, street savvy, annoyed at herself for falling for the lover 2. Naive before meeting the lover, now hurt and reflecting, still innocent 3. Gotten through the heart break for the most part ready to move on but still can't imagine why she remembers the good times with the lover.

Devin Jamieson breaks my heart every time I watch this- the epitome of clean, controlled, yet still astoundingly beautiful dancing. Jade has that “IT” factor that whenever you see her appear in a group dance vid, you can’t see anyone else. She is def headed for the big time. I mean the emotion she portrays in every performance adds so much depth and I can remember being heart broken when this video came out and just watching it over and over.

I've personally come back to this exact video so many times already. I think it has something to do with the three front ladies of the different groups. They're so unique and diverse; Galen is so elegant, every move she makes is so powerful though it is so small. Jade is so fierce and full of emotion in this routine, every move she makes is big and rough which is so magic to look at. And then there's Alyson, who is sort of angry and confused, her dancing more flowy, not so bound to the choreograph. I am amazed, this was amazing and perfectly put together with the three different front ladies. Love, love, love it! Keep up the good work, Galen!

BjSoEl Its so funny that you mentioned that! The three ladies in the front actually make me think theyre trying to portray the different stages in being in a relationship. Galen, for example represents the break up, where she portrays anger and resentment with her emotions. Jade, I feel is the healing stages after a break up, where she tries to find peace with the previous relationship as she shows her grace and ambition on her face. Lastly, I think that Alyson successfully defines what goes on after meeting someone new and falling back in love, so she looks somewhat confused and dramatizes i guess what you can call carefulness with her moves. Idk but thats just my interpretation along with this song.
Galen Hooks is consistently blowing my mind and breaking my heart with her uncanny song choices and her amazing, evocative, powerful choreography. You can tell she really FEELS the music, and you're offered a brief window into her soul. No wonder so many people want to be in her classes - they're something truly special.
The girl in the yellow was breathe taking, the girl in the pink was beautiful, the boy at the end was great, but the girl in grey & blue from the third group made this choreography so unique to her & instead of sad & painful she made the song somehow hopeful & sexy & happy. I was pleasantly surprised.
I truly loved her interpretation most as well... I hear this song as if it were speaking of being in an abusive relationship. You see the pain and the happiness but really you see the madness. In the end she is smiling because she is so entagled in the love the abuse simply does not matter. Its sad but sometimes thats how it is in a relationship like that

Galen’s choreos are so interpretive and versatile. Like even in the beginning, the first girl was desperate, galen was angry, the third was carefree and sexy. And all of them worked. Her choreos are so beautiful it hurts.
I've always looked at Galen's performance as sheer heartbreak over knowing it's over, Jade's as anger that she's not quite over the heartbreak yet, and Alyson's as a desperate plea to keep the relationship going, until the end where they all realize that maybe it was for the best that they move on. The ending always just seemed so enlightening, like they could take a deep breath finally. What a wonderful choreo, always impressed!
I absolutely love Galen's choreography. She has a style that is unique and fluid, and emotionally attached to the music. I could watch her for hours. And Jade took this particular routine and ran with it. What a beautiful dance.
They have different style in dancing the first one was kinda fierce and hurt at the same time while the second one was kinda hurt and broken while the third is kinda mentally abuse and like she's manipulated or something and I love them all for doing different style.....LOVE
this choreography was almost uncomfortable to watch because it exposed the dancers so much and there's such a level of honesty there. Kudos to Tim for filming it beautifully and capturing that essence. LOVE Galen's work.
I think this is my favorite dance of Jade's over all others... all dancers were amazing but Jade being much younger than most in the video... dances so beautifully it makes me want to cry!
The man in the last dance is a beautiful dancer who really did something different with the choreography and executed the dance so perfectly. I think he comes of as one of the less recognised figures within this video because of his less dramatic, modest approach however if you take the time out to watch him in particular you'll realise that he's executed this dance brilliantly. His long limbs and the way he uses them also look great in the more extended positions in this dance!
Georgina White I love watching his portion of this video. His style bounces so beautifully off Galen's, it really celebrates the difference between the male and female body and natural way they can move so differently even when they're moving just the same!

His name is Devin Jamieson, he is a very well known and respected dancer. He's danced with a bunch of artists and was part of the last group of dancers to ever dance with Michael Jackson, he was going to go on tour with him.
This is choreography. The movements are not universal in a particular style of dance. It’s a creation. Maybe study dance ??? 😐 or maybe society should stop acting like the arts don’t hold importance unless one is on the television or accepting awards.

All dancers were exceptional. Last couple stood out for me because of the female and male distinction is recognised through their dance moves and you could sense and build a personality on the character they were portraying.
2 years late, but I personally love the lady in gray in the third dance. Her interpretation isn't as heartbroken as the others, but there's still a power to it. Like, I was broken, but I'm going to be okay💔💗❤

The girl in the yellow was breathe taking, the girl in the pink was beautiful, the boy at the end was great, but the girl in grey & blue from the third group made this choreography so unique to her & instead of sad & painful she made the song somehow hopeful & sexy & happy. I was pleasantly surprised.

I truly loved her interpretation most as well... I hear this song as if it were speaking of being in an abusive relationship. You see the pain and the happiness but really you see the madness. In the end she is smiling because she is so entagled in the love the abuse simply does not matter. Its sad but sometimes thats how it is in a relationship like that

Galen’s choreos are so interpretive and versatile. Like even in the beginning, the first girl was desperate, galen was angry, the third was carefree and sexy. And all of them worked. Her choreos are so beautiful it hurts.

I've always looked at Galen's performance as sheer heartbreak over knowing it's over, Jade's as anger that she's not quite over the heartbreak yet, and Alyson's as a desperate plea to keep the relationship going, until the end where they all realize that maybe it was for the best that they move on. The ending always just seemed so enlightening, like they could take a deep breath finally. What a wonderful choreo, always impressed!

I absolutely love Galen's choreography. She has a style that is unique and fluid, and emotionally attached to the music. I could watch her for hours. And Jade took this particular routine and ran with it. What a beautiful dance.

I think this is my favorite dance of Jade's over all others... all dancers were amazing but Jade being much younger than most in the video... dances so beautifully it makes me want to cry!
alyson danced this so uniquely, her expressions were so innocent and loving yet had an air of being hurt and abused. i love storytelling
The man in the last dance is a beautiful dancer who really did something different with the choreography and executed the dance so perfectly. I think he comes of as one of the less recognised figures within this video because of his less dramatic, modest approach however if you take the time out to watch him in particular you'll realise that he's executed this dance brilliantly. His long limbs and the way he uses them also look great in the more extended positions in this dance!
Georgina White I love watching his portion of this video. His style bounces so beautifully off Galen's, it really celebrates the difference between the male and female body and natural way they can move so differently even when they're moving just the same!

His name is Devin Jamieson, he is a very well known and respected dancer. He's danced with a bunch of artists and was part of the last group of dancers to ever dance with Michael Jackson, he was going to go on tour with him.

All dancers were exceptional. Last couple stood out for me because of the female and male distinction is recognised through their dance moves and you could sense and build a personality on the character they were portraying.
