saw Agnostic Front a few times in the 80's, one of the best shows I saw at the Metroplex in Atlanta. These guys were a bunch of badass tough guys back then...now they just look like some heavier grown-up dads (like myself) just still fucking rocking it!!!

if i could have been a teenager in any time period, id choose the early 2000's cause of bands like new found glory and taking back sunday or in the 80s-90s cause of old school hardcore like this and murphys law (which my dad played bass for)

Last year H2O played the same bar and the place actually got shut down for 3 months cause of like 15 different violations, so I'm wondering whats gonna happen at this show. It's gonna be so sick.

90's was the best decade for music. 2000's were ok, and 2010's suck ballss.
Ive seen this guys say that they didnt want nothing to do with West Coast music and they where a whole different genre (hardcore) than their counterparts in the west, but to watch these guys is to know that they where totally influenced by Suicidal Tendencies.

Now? Then? Ok, I might be wrong.. Lets discuss this, ST was born in 1981 (me too) , Its been influencing bands since then. Ice T was influenced, and Ice T was the first gangsta rapper. He started Bodycount after . Even Axl from GnR copied some elements from Mike Muir.
Of course there where other founders like Bad Brains and Minor Threat from DC that influenced NY.
I know AF , along with Cro Mags, Murphys Law and Sick Of It All and others where formed early since the 80s, in NY. But you dont think they grasp some from the West Coast? Even if ST was formed at the same time, Those bands coulda been influenced. DC bands toured with CA bands, then took some influence to NY, and then Boston, New Jersey, etc.
Even if the influence wasnt directly from ST, which I think it was, it was definitely from West Coast bands like Black Flag and Circle Jerks, dont you think?
And of course during the mid 90s when they signed to Epitaph, the influence couldve been more direct then.
I love NYHC, but it wasnt a new subgenre of punk, its a slightly different sounding one and with different ideals, of course, but other bands where doing it in the West earlier or at the same time, with as much energy.

Hi Vasili, I don´t look like a neo nazi. On concerts I change my salutes all the time. Sometimes it´s a metal salute/sign of the horns, sometimes its a wrong sign of the horns with the thumb spreaded aside, than there is the roman salute which is nothing else than the Deutsche Gruss = Hitler salute, only difference the spreaded thumb. And I won´t give a guarantee that I ever remember to carefully spread the thumb every time, sooooo accidentally there could be a few German Gruesse as well on concerts.... and I don´t get smacked. :D You only get kicked in the worst clubs -> these clubs aren´t even clubs...they are financed of the far left and there nobody cares if someone who dares to have a different opinion gets problems. In normal clubs everyone knows that you get bounced when you hurt someone.
