utd's home record is better than arsenal's, they play Bournemouth away then Chelsea and Fulham at home and only need 2 wins if Liverpool win their remaining games. Chelsea are pretty trash right now and Fulham and Bournemouth both shud be on the beach. Liverpool has Leicester away (relegation scrap) and villa to come to anfield (fighting for europe), utd are rightly favourites along with Newcastle to get top 4
If the players heard or watched the City result and it affected them that badly, it’s even more of an indictment of the players and the manager, rather than just a poor performance.

I agree that Spurs will be Spurs and as for Utd, if owners stay the same then Utd will not challenge but if proper owners do come in then who knows. Credit to Arsenal they gave it a real good go, but it’s a bit like Spurs when they had their chance and they couldn’t catch Leicester. I do think it will be tough for Arsenal as it will be for most teams to catch City.

I'm a Gooner. As far as I know, Martin Tyler has quite close connections to Arsenal. I'd even go so far as to suspect he's an Arsenal fan. So I'm not sure where Martin Keown has found this from other than I too was extremely annoyed with the commentary form yesterday's match - to the point where I couldn't listen to Neville's Manc whining anymore and turned the sound to mute. When your team is losing, it's hard to listen to Gary Neville's commentary because he's persistent to the point where you just want him to shut up making the same point - YES WE KNOW what you're saying is right, but please, don't keep ramming it down our ears! So maybe, like me, Keown had got so frustrated with the team he loves that he started taking it personally?
Martin fell down a hole, then started digging further down, and when he hit rock bottom, he found a trap door.
If they get rid of Tyler, they might replace him with a female commentator; be careful what you wish for.

I grew up with the truly great commentators, Coleman, Johns, Moore and Motson. Any biases never showed. They kept the standards 100%
Most honest comments. We all know Brian moore rip was a gillingham fan. End of the day they are professional commentators. If they did not have a team from early days of their life ?? Would they be really interested in football?? Martin Tyler is a excellent commentary?? Believe he has been reporting covering football for 45/50 years ? Ruud van Nistelrooy. Martin ??? These old commentators have an inflated reputation (except IMO Motson). They weren't anywhere near as knowledgeable as present-day commentators. Their knowledge of foreign teams was especially very poor.
Sometimes it feels like Keown is just having a conversation with the voices in his head..
That's a better description of Simon, to be honest. He literally argues with himself at times while going on his monologues.

I get that, but if you’ve ever tried to get from the stadium to the tube stations it’s a nightmare. Crushes and kids being separated. They built the stadium and ignored all the infrastructure. Older folks, disabled, the unwell, families with little kids, lots of reasons why they do it. It’s always been that way at the new stadium.

I'm an Arsenal fan and I can say that although compared to last season the mentality has gotten better it's still far off from what you need to be winning PL's and CL's. Focus on your job and do it right over looking around at everyone else. We lost the title the moment the team started watching City games and it not being anything to do with match preparation. Arsenal need a squad and that involves moving on some players who don't meet the levels and bringing in about 5 quality players who can bring in moments of brilliance to provide competition and cover.

As an arsenal fan, I didn’t think the players were flat I think the fans were flat. I felt so flat after that city result, really thought they might make a small error and that just killed the energy.

If I were arsenal I would be proud of this season and be very optimistic for the future. That being said hub still bottled it holding 1st for 93% of the season and at one point were 11 points clear of Man City. We will see how they strengthen as will every other prem team.

It depends who's in the group chat. I've never really experienced the issue you're talking about, although to be fair, I don't hang in around in group chats with little kiddies with no attention spans. Adults can generally facilitate points being made in group chats.

It was obvious to me very early in the season that once Saliba got injured, as he was pretty much guaranteed to do because he always does, then Arsenal were done. That's exactly what happened.
