I like doing UberEats myself as far as the gig goes it's just the pay I struggle with as a single parent. On average it makes me minimum wage and when you include gas and car maintenance/insurance, etc. it doesn't really work as a full time gig with paying the rent in today's society. I do see the attraction to it though for those who live in tiny houses or vans(which I plan to do in a few years when my 16 year old baby can be on his own). Until then I am trying to also build up some TH-cam income and money from my coloring books and courses.

@jwill5033 some sacrifices would have to be made, but it's very possible. What most people spend on rent in a year can buy at least an acre in the country. There's people who are living off half an acre and making money selling produce to local residents and restaurants. It's much easier and cheaper in a foreign country, but it can be done here in America. But like I said, it might require some lifestyle changes and most people just arent up for that. Reality Check is that it’s the beginning with AI coming into play. Who’s wasting money sending their kids to College? Research is needed where to go from here. I’m Done!
Kim not everyone is meant to be an employee. I think God was just trying to tell you that you are meant to be an employer. Maybe working a job wasn't just for you. Some people are meant to be an employee and some people are just meant to be a boss. I am still trying to work a job but really I am meant to be a filmmaker and screenwriter but I am still working a job when God is showing me this is what I am meant to do. Some of us just can't see the path God has for us.
Its so funny that you said that. My husband keep telling me the this same thing! I just have to find what it is thats for me to do. I also get stuck in the mindset of a weekly/biweekly paycheck 🙃 I really appreciate your comment!
@KimsLilKorner It's true some people are not cut out to be an employee, some people are just meant to be a boss. Also I noticed that I am stuck in my paycheck too. I work two jobs which means that I get paid weekly because I have two jobs and I am writing a screenplay, and planning on becoming a filmmaker and every time my first job is closed because I do work at an elementary school so when school is closed for the summer I have 3 months to focus on writing my script and work my second part-time job and I noticed that my second boss she act like she knows that I am trying to start a small business because anytime school is closed she calls me to come to work early. One time I was writing my book. I was writing a chapter of my book and she knew it wasn't school because it was July and she called me saying I need you to come in. To me it seems like she's holding me back from accomplishing my goals because if she keeps doing that how will I ever get my screenplay written? And I told a filmmaker the same thing and he told me well you are going to have to do what I did and that's take a risk and let your job go even both. That's a huge risk because our job is our livelihood, this is how we survive with having a job, but that's what he told me. I know how to hire actors for my movie a casting director can help me with that, but I don't know how to hire rappers because I would like to hire three male rappers to be in my movie and Sag aftra told me that they had black male actors but they are not rappers. Because I am looking for a black male rapper for the role but the man at sag aftra told me that they have a black male actor but no rappers because some rappers are in movies Method man was in 187 and Tupac was in Juice.
@@KimsLilKorner I just want to say one more thing. If you want to keep your job and don't feel comfortable start your own business then keep your job, but I don't think I want to keep my job. I just don't want anyone to read this and I try to take a huge risk like me and regret it later. I am doing this because I think this is best for me, I don't want to speak as if I am just telling people to leave their job because I know our jobs are very important to us because our jobs are our livelihood, that's how we eat and survive, so I just wanted to come back and make that clear so everyone would not jump and make a huge risk like me.

Good for you! I hope you are successful with your business endeavor. 🩷 I'm also considering that route. I just have to do this gig work for a while to stay afloat though.

Security is always hiring. And you can get a job helping the elderly. Live in home care.

You look much younger than 45 🌹🌹
U look gorgeous queen 😖

There are several remote jobs online and on campus. Being that you have a special needs child you should find remote work. God 🙏 bless you keep the faith
Thank you so much.❤️ Yes, I've been looking for anything remote I can get. Competition is fierce for remote work these days!

What reason did they give you for firing you?
Hello Kim, you could have hired someone to come in and watch your son.
Give yourself some grace, at least you're doing something
Reality Check is that it’s the beginning with AI coming into play. Who’s wasting money sending their kids to College?
Research is needed where to go from here.
People have been retiring early with not enough invested or saved. It could get ugly!
Whatever AI can do… don’t do.
Moving back into Trades and Self. I quit working in 2019… because of Crypto. I’m Done!
I agree. AI is definitely changing things.
I'm 4O and it's hard to find a job
Was there an earthquake, or is that your camera 📷? 🤔
😂 Probably my camera. I don't believe we've had any earthquakes here. Thank you for watching ❤️
It’s the same old cycle..broke tired, get sum sorry azz job still broke n more tired. Then eventually just say fk emm
If you think about it some of these jobs pay pretty good even if you just want to work part-time
I would do gig work if I didn't need medical insurance 😢.
I feel you. 🩷 Insurance is definitely a major factor to consider!
People Ready is a temp place that has short term work and offers health insurance
Thanks you.
9-5s are getting old. I understand what you mean.
Kim 😍
You try security they’re hiring.
Suggest looking up manifestion. Look up Neville Goddard law of assumption.
Fired and layed off are two different things. You didn't touch on the reason they fired you. Was it something you did?
Wow this happened to me too.
😕 So sorry to hear that! Do you have a plan moving forward? Hang in there! I have some helpful videos coming.
@ thanks for the kind words and the plan is always to keep moving forward and keep looking. It has been somewhat of a struggle, but I do believe something will pop up soon. can’t wait for the new videos.
