    I got fired last February after having a “good” performance appraisal two weeks prior. It was the BEST thing that happened to me b/c with one week I received a much better job (hybrid) paying much more & much better co workers. Little did I know that I was going to face a medical emergency later on in the year that my current job would be less demanding & supportive in my healing. So don’t feel bad. Rejection truly is redirection. May God bless you with this channel & sending you better opportunities 🙏🏽

    I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.

    • @johnCoy-u1w

    I like doing UberEats myself as far as the gig goes it's just the pay I struggle with as a single parent. On average it makes me minimum wage and when you include gas and car maintenance/insurance, etc. it doesn't really work as a full time gig with paying the rent in today's society. I do see the attraction to it though for those who live in tiny houses or vans(which I plan to do in a few years when my 16 year old baby can be on his own). Until then I am trying to also build up some TH-cam income and money from my coloring books and courses.

    Land ownership is very important. If you own enough land to build a house and grow some food on, you have stability. If you lose your income, your life wont fall apart. You can fall back and live off the land till you figure something out. If you have enough land, you can even make an income off that land. But the point is you wouldnt have to depend on the government as much as you would if you didnt have that foundation. And you can pass that stability down to your children.

    • @dboi4952
      @dboi4952 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @jwill5033 some sacrifices would have to be made, but it's very possible. What most people spend on rent in a year can buy at least an acre in the country. There's people who are living off half an acre and making money selling produce to local residents and restaurants. It's much easier and cheaper in a foreign country, but it can be done here in America. But like I said, it might require some lifestyle changes and most people just arent up for that. They want their same lifestyle AND freedom from wage slavery, but that can't really work unless you're already wealthy.

    Don't need no punk ass job. Jobs are for people who choose not to gain the necessary knowledge and experience of being an entrepreneur. I locked myself in the house. I cut myself off from social media, going out places, pointless conversations with low vibrational people and stayed away from any fun activities for 4 consecutive years. For 4 years straight, I just read books on entrepreneurship and kept sharpening my skills on the career I love. Now I'm financially free. I'm a successful (Day Trader). I never have to go back to bowing down to a master. I'm my own boss. I don't get on my knees or bow down to anyone anymore.

      @@KimsLilKornerThanks beautiful. Them traders that you see living the life of financial freedom, they tell you a whole lot of nothing. I believe you have a lot of unlearning to do. Go look up (bounce trading) on Google. Please please please go Google it. It makes a whole lot of sense. The phrase (bounce trading) is exactly what it sounds like. The direction that price keeps bouncing in/developing in, that's the direction you absolutely have to open a trade in. You have to visualize a bouncing candlestick like a (beach ball) that someone keeps pushing under water but It keeps popping back up. Trust me, once you grasp the concept of (bounce trading), you will become profitable.

    • @jayti6828
      @jayti6828 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@KimsLilKornerPlease don't get (bounce trading) confused with trading impulsive moves. A bouncing candlestick is stable bouncing up and down movement. Impulse moves are chaotic. Trading impulsive moves is gambling. Don't listen to traders that preach you have to trade an impulse move to get a profit. An impulse move is rapid. Bounces are stable. Bounces steadily move up and down. They move calmly. It's a huge difference.

    People have been retiring early with not enough invested or saved. It could get ugly!

    Kim not everyone is meant to be an employee. I think God was just trying to tell you that you are meant to be an employer. Maybe working a job wasn't just for you. Some people are meant to be an employee and some people are just meant to be a boss. I am still trying to work a job but really I am meant to be a filmmaker and screenwriter but I am still working a job when God is showing me this is what I am meant to do. Some of us just can't see the path God has for us.

    • @KimsLilKorner
      @KimsLilKorner  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Its so funny that you said that. My husband keep telling me the this same thing! I just have to find what it is thats for me to do. I also get stuck in the mindset of a weekly/biweekly paycheck 🙃 I really appreciate your comment!

    • @M1999-v4v
      @M1999-v4v หลายเดือนก่อน

      @KimsLilKorner It's true some people are not cut out to be an employee, some people are just meant to be a boss. Also I noticed that I am stuck in my paycheck too. I work two jobs which means that I get paid weekly because I have two jobs and I am writing a screenplay, and planning on becoming a filmmaker and every time my first job is closed because I do work at an elementary school so when school is closed for the summer I have 3 months to focus on writing my script and work my second part-time job and I noticed that my second boss she act like she knows that I am trying to start a small business because anytime school is closed she calls me to come to work early. One time I was writing my book. I was writing a chapter of my book and she knew it wasn't school because it was July and she called me saying I need you to come in. To me it seems like she's holding me back from accomplishing my goals because if she keeps doing that how will I ever get my screenplay written? And I told a filmmaker the same thing and he told me well you are going to have to do what I did and that's take a risk and let your job go even both. That's a huge risk because our job is our livelihood, this is how we survive with having a job, but that's what he told me. I know how to hire actors for my movie a casting director can help me with that, but I don't know how to hire rappers because I would like to hire three male rappers to be in my movie and Sag aftra told me that they had black male actors but they are not rappers. Because I am looking for a black male rapper for the role but the man at sag aftra told me that they have a black male actor but no rappers because some rappers are in movies Method man was in 187 and Tupac was in Juice.

      @@KimsLilKorner I just want to say one more thing. If you want to keep your job and don't feel comfortable start your own business then keep your job, but I don't think I want to keep my job. I just don't want anyone to read this and I try to take a huge risk like me and regret it later. I am doing this because I think this is best for me, I don't want to speak as if I am just telling people to leave their job because I know our jobs are very important to us because our jobs are our livelihood, that's how we eat and survive, so I just wanted to come back and make that clear so everyone would not jump and make a huge risk like me.
