And it's that. . . they just don't work as a mash-up, or at least it takes more work to mash them together than is actually put into mashups most of the time.
What you really should do is listen to MOTI"s directly after Juno's
It's not a matter of quality or anything like that, it's a matter of the story, or at least the *part* of the story each song conveys.
For both this and Zero two, MOTI is singing during the actual boss fight, but for this song and GaMetal's Zero Two, their lyrics are the *build up* to the final confrontation.

I love the perspective of the characters singing. The ultra space travelers or whatever they’re called are constantly encouraging and telling you to fight on for the sake of the world being consumed by necrozma while also giving some lore.

Be prepared though...
I was worried that once MOTI's was released, I'd favor one over the other, but that didn't happen. It was a good decision to have both videos be unique in their perspectives of who is singing, so the legendary bytes version doesn't overshadow or get overshadowed by this- but the callbacks in the byte lyrics to this video are absolutely awesome. I love hearing how you twisted lines from this one to fit necrozma singing them.
In short, both this and the legendary byte version are awesome in their own ways and I love them both.

I love how these lyrics contradict MOTI’s cover of Necrozmas theme because Junos version is sung by Dulse and Zossie, and they tell the player to take back Necrozmas light to bring it back to Alola, while the MOTI cover is sung from Ultra Necrozmas perspective who claims the light is his and his alone.
It also kinda fits well chronologically, Junos version being set before the fight with Dulse and Zossie hyping you up before the actual fight in MOTIs version.
