Actually Necrozma is THE most powerful pokemon in existence lore-wise (literally able to absorb all the energy in a universe), and game wise I think only Mega Rayquaza has higher stats (and even then just slightly).

This is how I defeated Ultra necrozma
1. Have Zoroark in the first slot of your party
2. Have anything weak to psychic in 6th slot
3. Zoroark will disguise as the pokemon in the 6th slot
4. Necrozma will be tricked by the disguise of the Zoroark
5. Since Necrozma is tricked, it will keep on using photon geyser on the disguised Zoroark thinking that it’s gonna be super effective
6. Photon geyser will not affect Zoroark due to the fact that psychic does not affect dark, necrozma will continue to use photon geyser not knowing that it’s not working since it’s actually using it on a Zoroark
i actually did this by accident, zoroark was my ace throughout the whole game and i also happened to have an arbok in my last slot, so everything worked out

I remember fighting this thing. All my Pokémon were one shotted except for my Decidueye. The only reason why I managed to defeat Ultra Necrozma first try was because it did what Kadabra did in this video, but like five more times.

This was the most painful battle in the game imo. I didn’t want to take away Necrozma’s light but it was hurting other worlds. It didn’t feel like at all like i was fighting a “bad guy,” he was just trying to defend the light because he didn’t want it taken away. I was very happy when catching Necrozma because now it’s at peace and you can share your light with it.

3 reasons why this is the best legendary battle in Pokémon history:
1) Ultra Necrozma looks badass.
2) He's hard as balls if you don't see him coming (Level 60 is quite high for this point in the game).

Before Ultra Sun and Moon came out, People were predicting that Necrozma was something like a severed head and it’s missing the rest of its body. In the game, Necrozma was only missing his light but he still had his full body but as a different form. They were kinda right apparently.

I'm laughing. So, my Zoroark is disguised as a Decidueye, and Ultra Necrozma kept spamming Photon Geyser because it's a super effective move against Decidueye. It was useless, since Zoroark is a dark-type. It kept spamming Photon Geyser in confusion and I hit it three times using Punishment.

BlueLegend718 There are 2 ways I’ve found to beat Necrozma easily. One is to use the move sucker punch and the other is to use Pokémon refresh in hopes of you Pokemon to survive on one hp and use super effective moves.

That's what I did too, turned Necrozma's aura against it.
Dude I just had my Decidueye outspeed and Z-move it to death. Miricle because I had no idea it was going to be that hard and I was only using 5 pokemon.

@a wild Hau kinnie appeared _Topsy turvy is a move by Malamar that reverses stat boosts. For example if you have a 6+ boost in defense, if Malamar uses topsy turvy then it becomes a 6- negative in defense. Using it against Ultra Necrozma is a very big brain move.
@@davidmurray7460 That's exactly what I did, but I just put Malamar in battle, used Topsy turvy, and since I use Malamar as the psychic pokemon, I didn't have anything "useful" against Necrozma, so I just changed to Zoroark and just Z-moved him to death.

Pretty sure Arceus is better than both Mewtwo and Ultra Necrozma.
Mewtwo is irrelevant in Ubers and VGC16, and Ultra Necrozma is 90% hype.
Alex Robb Arceus base stats are 720, both primals have 770, Mega Mewtwo (both) and Rayquaza have 780 (beeing the strongest), and Ultra Necrozma has 755 i think.
Matt el que mainea Top Every single legendary you mentioned, with the exception of rayquaza, must forfeit their item in order to achieve those stats (in fact, that's one of the main reasons mega ray is so broken; he can hold an item while having those ludicrous stats). Just so you understand how big that is, special life orb Mewtwo hits harder than mega mewtwo Y. Choice specs kyogre hits harder than primal kyogre. And so on.
Also, base stats aren't everything. I can't think of a single person (who knew what they were talking about) who would seriously argue that mega mewtwo is better than arceus, when arceus has access to a godlike movepool with well rounded stats and the ability to be every type. Mega Mewtwo (doesn't matter which) is merely a fast psychic type that doesn't have the power or the moves to sweep effectively. Same can be said for ultra necrozma, who trades worse offensive stats and movepool from Mega mewtwo for actual setup moves.
Alex Robb I always have thinked that Mega Mewtwo Y with Psiquic, Flamethrower, Aura sphere and Calm mind is literally invinsible.
Now im more advanced i find a few counters, no more of 2 or 3, so, at least in my way, is op xd.
Arceus is actually a tank he can take many hits unlike others, even physical move tapu koko could easily defeat rayquaza and mewtwo but ultra necrozma is kind of hard like arceus

4:42 I cried while the whole essence of Necrozma tries to stick to a last bid of hope in order to “survive” and lands in Lunala’s/Solgaleo‘ nose. It seems like Lunala forgives Necrozma after all, and wishes him to do well despite the harm caused... I love it, because it has been shown clearly, for the first time, that amazing legends such Nebby can portray compassion or forgiveness. This generation’s main legendaries are captivating without a doubt :’)
Álvaro Cadiñanos I agree to this symbolism. When new generation of pokemon games appear, the main story became more darker, emotional and symbolic. Gen 5 already broke controversy of the story pattern, proving players that everything was serious in a psychological level.

I love how it said "Necrozma appeared!" without the normal "a wild..." at the beginning
I got a story about this fight. My team was rather simple. Decidueye, Salazzle, Metagross, Gyrados, Ribombee and Noivern. I had gone through the entire game, praising each team member and loving each one. But... I was no where near prepared for this fight. All I could do was hope. It was down to just me, Noivern and Necrozma, both are red health. The fight was rough but I was out of revives and healing items... Necrozma attacks... AND MY NOIVERN TAKES IT LIKE A FUCKING BOSS, and, as if saying "Really now? Fine, my turn." Noivern knocked out the divinely powerful pokemon, winning the battle on the first try. Lesson learned: Believe in your pokemon, and they will conquer gods.
My younger sister killed it in like a minute with her Decidueye and I’m just like “oh.”

Just have a focus sash that was given to you on Poni Island, give it a Pokemon that knows toxic, (or use mimyku since it takes a free hit) then toxic stall with revives. It's a very cheap, easy way to deal with it.

Y’all gotta keep in mind Ultra necrozma may be the ONLY Pokémon on or near the same level as arceus in the lore. Here’s why. Arceus created the Pokémon with the help of the unown and mew on top of his dimension. But the ultra beasts aren’t Pokémon. Or rather they aren’t from the world of Pokémon. Maybe it’s an alternate universe where ultra necrozma is the arceus of the multiverse I dunno. But if those two were to Duke it out we’d all be screwed lol

I played Ultra Sun, and honestly Dulse and Zossie were just these two lovable goofs. Dulse was trying so hard to be serious and focus on the mission and Zossie just wanted to explore all of Alola.

Zoroark used foul play. (About half damage)
Necrozma used photon geyser. It doesn’t effect zoroark

Randomationz YT welp I’m getting a zoroark
I even re-loaded my save and fought it again without using Foul Play. I was able to get it to the red before it finally KOed my Zoroark, at which point my Leafeon could come in and finish it off with Quick Attack.
This thing obliterated my whole team, sans my Incineroar, who held it out for me because she has max affection, surviving on 1 HP. Necrozma was weakened a bit by my Lycanroc's Crunch, and when it was my Incineroar's turn, she killed Necrozma with Malicious Moonsault.
Most badass thing to ever happen to me in a Pokemon game.

I feel kinda bad about this fight. Prior to the battle got Gengar to learn destiny bond. Gave him a quick claw and just reset until it activated.
I caught a zapdos before ultra necrozma and I thought I was unstoppable... zapdos was 1 shot.

I find it a bit weird that even in this form, the game still marks him as fused being the reason you can't catch him yet. I prefer to think that his power in this state is just too much for even a Master Ball to handle. (I always reserve the Master Ball for each Pokémon game's namesake legendary)

I literally had to cheese this thing with a Level 100 Silvally with a Dark type Drive, fighting through the constant disobedience, just to beat it. My normal team got obliterated on their own, it was insane.
