I do love how most of Necrozma’s threats are either calling the human’s failings out, or boasts of it’s own strength, comparing itself to a supernova. Then sometimes it just kinda drops the pretense and tells you do to die…
I really like how ultra says how the light is their BIRTHRIGHT, concidering how this is near the end of the song, and how they're so close to death once its said really says that that final verse once they release the LIGHT THAT BURNS THE SKY from the edge of the horizon and this is their last stand to protect their tresure, the light of aloha.
It’s in reference to the sun. The sun lies at the edge of the horizon, and can be referred to as the “light that burns the sky”. Necrozma is comparing itself to the su using the name of its Z-Move, which makes sense because the sun is the source of life and light on Earth as Necrozma is to the multiverse. Especially fitting because the sun is worshipped as a god in a lot of cultures, and Necrozma is a light god.
“So you dare now to ascend my tower knowing well your fate is sealed” If that opening line wasn’t a reference to Necrozma’s infamy within the Nuzlocke community then it should have been

@@MikaShiyaz Unlike you two I *DO* blame Necrozma. He drained countless universes and in this song's interpretation has ZERO remorse, blaming everything on humanity, as is usual in Pokemon, both in-story and out. I just HATE the franchise subtle misanthropic, racist hypocrisy where Pokemon are ALWAYS "Good" at their core and virtually never punished for their many, many, *many* sins across the franchise long history (In Mystery Dungeon, the criminal pokemon are at least implied to go to jail). I've always disliked how humans are the only ones that can be "truly" evil and tend to get all the blame (and punishment), if Necrozma was a technology-using human you can bet they would be universally considered a selfish monster by the heroes for plunging entire worlds into darkness. The seven deadly sins could just as well be applied to Necrozma. Pride in considering himself more important than the worlds he steals light from. Immense Wrath over his myopic view of mankind's offense. Envy of other worlds and beings having light after he lost it. Lust for his own salvation at the expense of anyone unfortunate enough to end up in its path, as well as revenge against mankind. Gluttony for light. Greed in taking everything it feels could help it for itself. Sloth is a special sin, while it's very often misinterpreted as being lazy, the true definition not helping others when you have the power to do so, especially when it would be easy. Which making doubly awful when he spent what may have been years in the light tower Mankind made for it (I haven't played the game so I don't know if it's been specified how much time passed between it being lured into the tower and the protagonist fighting it) when it could have made periodic leaps in and out of the tower to find a more permanent solution. Even if it couldn't leave, again, I don't for sure, it didn't try anything other than mindless eating. And the cherry on top, the typical Pokemon-are-holier-than-humans hypocrisy common in the verse. And, in case you're wondering, Pokemon and Digimon are my 2 favourite mon shows, but in the later, at least evil digimon are acknoledged in the Digital World and are not inherently better than humans by birth.

I love the line “the light is mine, it is my birth right shadows of man encroach upon the dragons lair” because it’s a direct response to the line in Juno’s cover of the song which goes “ The light is your’s, you can reclaim it from the dark abyss of the dragon’s lair”
MotI version: Necrozma singing about human's greed and constant worsening over time and needing them to be destroyed. Juno version: The people singing about their mistakes that enraged Necrozma.
Listening to both versions in parallel, and the Juno version doesn't actually mention their mistakes at all. Just talks more about the Black Hole's rage and reclaiming what was lost, about how its power was lost long ago, and so on. So the humans seem completely unrepentant, the dragon full of rage, and both seeing the light as belonging to them and them alone.
The seven deadly sins being referenced was amazing. Juno did such a good job with both these lyrics and this art. Also Darby's performance was incredible. He really captured the other-worldly nature of Ultra Necrozma so well.

I was going to bring up the parallel between “The light is mine, it is my birthright!” And Juno’s “The light is yours, you can reclaim it!” But then I realized Juno wrote both. Nice callback!
I love the line 'The light is mine / It is my Birthright' because it's a parallel to Juno's original one, 'The light is yours / You can reclaim it / From the dark abyss of the black hole's rage' Also the lines 'At the edge of the horizon / Lies the Light That Burns the Sky' & 'As you gaze up at the Light That Burns the Sky / Know you're not alone' Truly these songs are incomplete without knowledge of the other.
It's like these songs are from the two perspectives, one from a wrathful Necrozma and the other from the Solgaleo/Lunala it has consumed, encouraging you to fight this unfathomable beast.
The thing is the light he took was harvested from HIM. He made solgaleo and lunala. HE IS THE GOD OF LIGHT and ultra megalopolis turned him into a grumpy lamp for who knows how long before he broke out

Ah, the nuzlocke ender himself. Darby's voice fits him really well I would say! I love just how *imposing* he makes himself be, considering himself the judgement of humanity, especially with the mentioning of the seven deadly sins. This is definitely a contender for my favourite Legendary bytes video! Calamity recommendation nr. 11 comin right up! This song made me realize how well Darby can fit a dragon, which also made me love to hear a version of Infernal Catharsis or even a Roar of the Jungle Dragon cover with him as Yharon. I'm sure it would be incredible!
The voice is a PERFECT FIT I agree it just gives him the I don't how to say it but corrupted by anger feel I guess uhhhh revenge filled. You know what I mean
This song honestly I feel might be the strongest if not at least the best performed song of this package. The Lyrics that Juno made are phenomenal but Darby just made these Lyrics absolutely rock in all right ways. While I did not write this one I still want to continue my weeks of Pokemon Legends essays so here ya go. The Lyrics Juno made are such a banger. You can just FEEL the energy radiating off of them and the full range of the emotions that are conveyed in this song. Necrozma has watched humans destroy their world at least once if not many times, he knows the cycle and believes it will always continue. He won't sit idly by and let this happen again and he will do what must be done by absorbing all the light. Juno captured this one so perfectly and they made them sound distinct enough from their other lyrics and I think that is just so amazing. Absolutely great job here Juno! Always love hearing the songs you create! To go along with this as well I would be reminis if I didn't speak about the artwork. The art in this video is absolutely befitting of a being such as Ultra Necrozma! Every piece has such a stark feel between the glowing radiant Necrozma and anything else around it. It truly gives the feel that it IS the light, and you won't take that away from it. Darby. Oh my gods. I honestly feel like I cannot describe how well you performed this song with the vocals in it... But I'm gonna try anyway 😂. The raw emotion that is captured in this song and the beautiful levels changing between the belting, melodic singing, and everything in between are all so beautiful and all just have such a STRONG feel to them. Honestly I don't even know HOW to compliment your performance here any more than I have. It sounds absolutely brilliant and it is a song that along with Vs Zinnia will live rent free in my head and playlists rent free for a very long time if not forever because the performances are just that amazing. Of course all of this is brought together by the beautiful mixing in this song. Marc did an absolutely phenomenal job with this one and being completely honest I think the mixing, layering, and effect that was given to Necrozma here has been the best of them up to this point in the Legendary bytes. The way it all flows together and gives the sense that Necrozma has absorbed all the Light along with the other two box legendaries and it just feels, idk, right. It all sounds so epic and so beautiful at the same time and as I said before, not gonna forget this one any time soon! Well, that's about it! Thanks for reading this far and honestly, everyone who worked on this one, you did a phenomenal job and be proud of what you have made here! The stars will shine bright tonight now that this song exists in a way for all to hear! Be sure to come back next week for more Legendary gushing. And oh boy is next week gonna be a good one 😉 Also RIP wingull. Edit: fixed that because I just saw it was TIP and not RIP... Fing rip.
Also you have to think that Juno wrote the song from the prespective of the ultra recon squad, while this is sang from necrozma and feels much more as if it's from a possition of power not a possition of resisitance. Edit: I just played the 2 in sync and woah that's a feeling
@@jjfrenzy789 The simplest way to explain what a quasar is, is that it’s a large vortex found within some galaxies in space, created by a black hole, which absorbs nearby light sources around it, causing it to be extremely bright. This fits well which Necrozma, which absorbs light from other worlds to gain power.
WOW this song is really the epitome of “fuck around and find out” huh. what a spectacular encapsulation of the hubris of man, playing with horrors beyond their comprehension. the absolute BURNING righteousness necrozma’s philosophy is built on, ravaging mankind to the ground as punishment for an endlessly perpetrating cycle, it’s a truly spine chilling. we joke darby is The Literal Sun but WOW that has a different meaning when you take that burning light and turn it into a godly force of destruction. i’ve always been a stickler for “blinding light as a corrupting horror” (radiance from hollow knight comes to mind) and ultra necrozma is a wonderful extension to that fascinating idea, both darby’s vocals and the truly RADIANT art from juno add to this a LOT. the way I can HEAR the song through just the visuals alone is something i admire so deeply. truly, this song is a masterpiece.
That is very true it sounds like he's had enough(anger) but he sounds calm at the same time and also wise(a bit like me) but this also gives the the presence of you don't wanna fuck with me bitch feel
Ayy, a hollow knight fan, the thing is too much of the light ( radiance) is bad, but so is too much of the dark ( shade lord) necrozma is actually a being of dark consuming the light to fuel it’s power, meaning it is the equality. It creates dark by eating light but that just makes itself shine brighter.
@@reddrakus2937 Oh yeah, 100%! the two games handle the vibe differently but i personally was just using the example as i’m a sucker for blinding light being a corrupting force in general. there’s a lot of really cool ways to handle the concept!!
That art of Incineroar fighting against U-Necrozma simply epic. Reminds me of my Incineroar in Ultra Moon(later Ultra Sun in my other save files) where he the one who deliver the final blow against that beast. Great choice!
I hit it with my Incineroar's Z-Move, left it on like 15% Got hit like a TRUCK from power gem Aha. Necrozma, you fool. Blaze boosted Flamethrower obliterated its remaining HP, and I just watched with a smile
Love the composition between this and Junos covers, the Ultra recon squads pov about trying to save the light from Necrozma and this cover showing Necrozmas rage for being drained, keep up the great work everyone.
I like how, to get the full experience for both, you HAVE to listen to the other. Parallels between songs are one of the things I like most, and the two covers do an excellent job with them. Trully, they are masterpieces
That is very true but moti and juno mainly work together now so obviously juno would help him and when I saw the first line I knew instantly it was juno who wrote it
Juno cover: The light is yours, you can reclaim it from the dark abyss of the black hole's rage! MOTI cover: The light is mine, it is my birthright! Shadows of man encroach on the dragon's lair!
So Juno’s cover was sung by Ultra Recon Squad, but Alex’s cover is sung by necromza. Both are amazing though because ultra necromzas theme is a hell of a banger
THE LYRICS ARE AMAZING AS NORMAL FOR JUNO BUT HOLY SHIT THE LYRICS MAKE ME FEEL THAT NECROZMA IS TRYING TO DO GOOD (OBVOISLY HES NOT BUT STILL) THAT IS WHAT IT REMINDS ME OF AND IT SAYS THAT BASICLY HE WANTS REVENGE THE VOICE IS PERFECT AND IF THEY INCLUDED THE AGENTS IT WOULD BE A BANGER TBH I MIGHT JUST MAKE MY OWN VIDEO NECROZMA AND MY OWN LEGO BUILD OF IT SO (SORRY FOR SELF PROMO) MAYBE CHECK MY CHANNEL OUT
Holy mother of Arceus you didn't just hit this out of the park you hit it into outer space. All of the other musical bytes are good but this is easily the best one yet. You really solidified Necrozma as a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention the insanely good performance from Darby and the incredible art by Juno. There are not enough words in the English language to express how much I love this.
This is the second time Juno wrote lyrics for this song, and Darbys singing did it justice also the fact that it ends with Ultra Necrozma using Light That Burns The Sky on a Level 9 Wingull
@@Leaffyleaff So true, in the version on Juno’s channel, Dulse and Zossie are trying to give the protagonist hope, in this version, Necrozma is basically saying “mankind is doomed and it’s well-deserved”. I really like the part where he references the seven deadly sins to emphasise this.
@@aspookyghost7319 Also kind of humorous in that Darby was also the voice in their Binding of Isaac - Greed song. It really sounds similar in the very first part as well with the deep-voiced, almost-conversational, singing.
i feel like necrozma's lyrics can also be echoed directly back not to just humanity, but to itself as well. probably overthinking it though. Also RIP wingull
I just noticed a cool thing about the line “At the edge of the horizon lies the light that burns the sky!” It’s like at the edge of the event horizon of a black hole and the light being a quasar which it the brightest source of light in the universe.
I like the parallels to Christianity. Mentioning the 7 sins, Necrozma Being called a Dragon (like Satan aka Lucifer), and finally the fact that he was called the Morning Star of Heaven before he was kicked out. (Edit: apparently a lot of people don’t know Christian mythology. Lucifer and Satan are the SAME person. Lucifer is his name. Satan is his title, meaning “accuser” or “adversary”.)
@@kodainogema8145 note really. Satan didn’t create the sins. He’s just a jerk who decided to be evil as fuck. Heck, the 7 sins are just mythology, not mentioned in the actual Bible.
I love how this just captures the absolute mix of emotions Necrozma feels in this moment. There’s clear happiness to be whole once again but anger at the Ultra Megalopolis for taking away the light that made it whole and KNOWING the power it holds at that moment in time and in its anger having 0 hesitation to use it on those who crosses it to make sure it stays that way. In a way there’s a sort of fear in its portrayal as well. Fear of losing itself now it’s just got its light back and desperately wanting to be whole forever again now that it’s back to normal, ready to do anything to keep it that way.
I love every part of this, it’s so emotionally raw and pure, and captures the rage and resentment of Necrozma so well. Rarely has a song ever brought me to tears, yet somehow Alex’s covers seem to consistently strike my heartstrings exactly when they’re supposed to. Also, thank you Darby Cupit for bringing this wonderful character to life.
When Necrozma in this version sings "the light is mine", at the same point in the Juno version, Dulse sings "the light is yours", I just thought that was neat.
Ultra Necrozma spitting enough fire to light up the sky. Man, this song is an entirely different beast compared to Juno. Juno had Necrozma as a suffering deity. He had lost control of his own power, threatened to consume all of existence, and you had to be the hero to save him and everything else. Here, Necrozma is very much in control of himself and striking back against the foolish humans that are trying to consume everything in their sight. I noticed a theme with this second set of Pokemon Musical Bytes. Humans getting too big for their britches or misinterpreting the gifts they've been given. Kyurem droned on about how the two brothers split him in three over a meaningless conflict. Xerneas and Yveltal sung a duet about how life and death is part of the natural order, and that the latter is given far more flak then it deserves. And here, Necrozma swears to obliterate mankind for its endless greed and pride, desiring to conquer and rule over everything. I wonder if Galar will continue the trend, but I know it will be a banger nonetheless.
Okay... I just have to say that this is brilliant. Moreso *because* Juno covered it already. Juno's cover was sung from the POV of the Ultra Recon Squad members, fearful of Necrozma's power yet offering support to the player as they ascend the tower to challenge the dragon of light. This one, on the other hand, is from Necrozma's POV... and works as a flawless counterpoint to Juno's. Truly perfect.
This song is honestly perfect You can just hear necrozma as a godly being judging the world and condemning it for all the wrong there is This song truly made me feel like a god was toiling and trying to fix his mistake of creation
The way some of the lyrics are a direct contrast of Juno's is a nice touch. "The light is your's, you can reclaim it". "The light is mine, it is my birthright"
Was very excited to hear this cover after having listened to Juno's version practically on loop since it came came out! Both covers are asolutely incredible and do not disappoint! Love to think of both as two side of the same coin, with Juno's version being the humans perspective on the legend of Necrozma, and this being Necrozma's perspective on humans! And as always the lyrics are fantastically detailed, the part with the seven deadly sins as the theory of the Ultra Beasts representing them. Plus that flip side to the line in Juno's version the human's perspective "The light is yours" Vs this version Necrozma's "The light is mine" Love your work Juno!
Juno writing two versions for this track, telling both sides of the tale of Ultra Megalopolis is genuinely a joy to see. Speaking of: The opposition in both songs "The light is yours [the player's]" vs "The light is mine [Necrozma's]", Juno thank you :D Edit: Omg I just realised Juno's art has the characters from his original version --- Also RIP that Level 9 Wingull
The strongest legendary(canonically). The dragon of light, a multi dimensional being, truly deserves the theme it was given. Ok seriously Ultra Necrozma is so powerful, it’s ability alone is busted, doubling the damage of any super effective attack, not to mention having the strongest Z-move(plus being the creator of Z-crystals).
Not to be that nitpicker he's second strongest granted it's only behind the true form of Arceus itself but yes that still put some pretty much on top of the food chain of virtually anything else other than being corrected by God itself
I love the seven deadly sins being used and "the black hole hits critical mass" its such a cool lyric considering it kind of fits necrozma since it absorbs light like a black hole
Wingull: Daddy I'm going to school see you later Necrozma: oh a lesser being? Wingull: Hello, what's your name? Necrozma : *Die* Necrozma : * use Z move* Wingul: WHA...
Jeez this is beautiful the calm voice for necrozma acting as a god ontop of all humanity a God that sees what humanity has done to a planet and wants to wipe them instead of an aggressive voice is smoothing and lovely this is brilliant. I adore how the seven deadly sins are fitted in at the start.
It's times like these were I'm SO GLAD there can be multiple interpretations of a song. Both Juno and MOTI's necrozma kick PLENTY of ass on their own, but with each song having a different perspective on the battle and the way the two play off one another just makes for PERFECTION. If I had talent, I'd mash them into a duet. Another (unintentional I think) example of this is his 02 song, hauntingly beautiful on its own. But when compared to GAmetal's take on it with Ribbon being the PoV lyricist, it becomes an epic struggle between light and dark. God I love this corner of the internet sometimes
0:43 The lines in this song of “You wished to hold God in your palm, now for your hubris, you shall pay for it all” remind me of the lines “You lit the fire, now watch it burn, now you will learn” in the lyrical adaptation of The Ultimate Show.
I appreciate the continuity with the Pokémon, as Juno’s video had a Mimikyu and a Honchcrow. And here we still see both. I also appreciate the clashing lyrics from both. “The light is yours” in Junos, while “the light is mine” in MOTI I also ALSO appreciate the fact that you managed to get all of the seven deadly sins into the song, don’t know why, but it fits Also RIP the wingull that got obliterated by the burning light
The 7 Deadly Sins reference is likely referring to a theory that the Ultra Beasts (Disregarding those added in USUM) were based on the 7 Deadly Sins: Pride - Buzzwole, with its constant flexing to show off its physique. Wrath - Kartana, with its ability to cut through many things despite its frail-appearing nature. Envy - Nihilego, which attached to living things to steal nutrients and information that it doesn’t have. Lust - Pheromosa. No explanation necessary. Gluttony - Guzzlord. No explanation necessary. Greed - Xurkitree, which absorbs electricity from whatever it can to store. Sloth - Celesteela, which, based on the anime, buries itself in the ground and remains still until deciding to finally take off.
I think that it interesting in the picture when incineroar is leaping at ultra necrozma, its hand is covered in darkness that even blocks out a bit of ultra necrozma light on its wing. The move it uses is most likely darkest lariat. The trainer with the power of darkness attempts to defeat a being of pure light.
Really loving the song! I really like the high and mighty attitude Ultra Necrozma shows throughout! I wish I had a more epic memory of this fight than finding out he will fall for a Zoroark Illusion and will spam Photon Geyser despite it having no effect on Zoroark
Out of all of your Pokemon songs that you all made. This one is by far the only best one out there. I love how you told a great story & fused Ultra Necrozma's signature move in there w/ a lyric too! I wish the other VS Pokemon songs slapped as hard as this one does cuz god damn is it good! This song is up there w/ 02 & Snatcher for me
Wow, what a banger! As soon as I saw Juno was doing lyrics for this one, I got so excited, since his cover of Necrozma's theme is one of my favorites. And woo, he and Darby did not disappoint! The parallels between the lyrics here and Juno's cover are so good. While in Juno's cover the Ultra Recon Squad sing, "The light is yours/you can reclaim it," here Necrozma directly oppose them by singing, "The light is mine/it is my birthright!" Plus there's the beginning of Juno's cover, which starts with, "See a world in which Necrozma stole the light and sealed its power," whereas in this cover, from Necrozma's point of view, it's the humans who siphon the light and use it for selfish means. Aaaagh I just love how these covers complement each other, seriously, well done!
This isn't easy to say, but this legendary cover is my favorite so far. I absolutely loved Groudon and Kyogre's duet, Ho-Oh's mystic beats, and also Giratina's absolute banger of a song. But Necrozma? This is next-level. And that verse-ender: "At the edge of the horizon lies the light that burns the sky." I don't think you can get much more epic than that lyric. Darby, you brilliantly portrayed Necrozma. Like, words won't do your performance justice. It's that good. Along with Juno's lyrics, this is just the perfect blend of excellence. Thumbs up all around, MOTI. This is a masterpiece.
As I had hoped and predicted, a god based song with a twist from Giratina's song. Giratina was focused on its struggle and anger against Arceus, seeing the human battling it as a mere obstacle on its quest to bring ruin to the reality its creator held so dear. Necrozma has a problem with humanity itself and focuses all of its effort against the beings who had brought it down once, and now dare to challenge it again after it took back its strength.

I love this so much, Ultra Necrozma is my favorite of the final Pokémon bosses, and this song is equally great. (But did that LV 9 Wingull deserve that...?)
As a fan of both Man on the Internet and Juno's work. I just want to point out both versions lyrics are brilliant and when listened together the way the play off each other is truly spectacular.
The way Ultra Necrozma's "eyes" are rendered in the artwork makes the blue patterns look like tears. Like it's been in absolute, incomparable _agony_ for so long that it doesn't even think to take a moment to recuperate before lashing out.
I was actually recommended to this video while watching Juno Songs video on the same soundtrack. I like to think of both songs as two POVs of the same fight. There's a lyric in Juno's version that says "The light is yours, you can reclaim it from the dark abyss of the black hole's rage". Here, Necrozma assumes the light is his, with lines like "The light is mine, it is my birthright". I love this subtle detail, even if it wasn't intentional :3
2:43- 3:08 I love how it's implied that his last act is to nuke a Wingull. That's just so funny to me Anyways, the song and lyrics are fantastic. I still prefer your Kyogre vs Groudon one, but this takes good second. And the instrumentals from the original are fantastic. Arceus, the Pokemon franchise has quite the killer soundtrack, doesn't it
Ultra Necrozma is my favorite Legendary Pokèmon, and it’s theme is one of the best songs ever written. You managed to do it justice! I was a bit disappointed in Juno’s original cover, I had really hoped Necrozma would be singing. But he has definitely made up for it now!

It can also be seen as a reference to the theory that the original ultra beasts were based on the seven deadly sins.
@@kingjrex3656 yeah that is true

I love how this depicts Necrozma as more of a punishment, rather than a hostile Pokemon who only seeks to absorb as much light and power as possible.
Yes I don’t blame Necrozma cause he was happy before the incident after it he was drained and got mad going to other was to get light losing all mercy as he lost all feelings except anger and hatred which caused him to take all the light and possess solgaleo or lunala😢

And for those of you who are unaware, a quasar is the term for the explosion caused by a black hole reaching critical mass.
What’s a Quasar?
@@jjfrenzy789 The simplest way to explain what a quasar is, is that it’s a large vortex found within some galaxies in space, created by a black hole, which absorbs nearby light sources around it, causing it to be extremely bright.

In a way there’s a sort of fear in its portrayal as well. Fear of losing itself now it’s just got its light back and desperately wanting to be whole forever again now that it’s back to normal, ready to do anything to keep it that way.

I appreciate the continuity with the Pokémon, as Juno’s video had a Mimikyu and a Honchcrow. And here we still see both.
I also appreciate the clashing lyrics from both. “The light is yours” in Junos, while “the light is mine” in MOTI
I also ALSO appreciate the fact that you managed to get all of the seven deadly sins into the song, don’t know why, but it fits
Also RIP the wingull that got obliterated by the burning light
The ultra beasts are based off the 7 deadly sins
The 7 Deadly Sins reference is likely referring to a theory that the Ultra Beasts (Disregarding those added in USUM) were based on the 7 Deadly Sins:
Pride - Buzzwole, with its constant flexing to show off its physique.
Sloth - Celesteela, which, based on the anime, buries itself in the ground and remains still until deciding to finally take off.
iirc, the japanese name of Necrozma's Z-move is "the heaven scorching light."
Holy shit.
That’s so sick
Sounds like final boss super Move that instant Kill everyone
While in Juno's cover the Ultra Recon Squad sing, "The light is yours/you can reclaim it," here Necrozma directly oppose them by singing, "The light is mine/it is my birthright!"
Plus there's the beginning of Juno's cover, which starts with, "See a world in which Necrozma stole the light and sealed its power," whereas in this cover, from Necrozma's point of view, it's the humans who siphon the light and use it for selfish means.
Aaaagh I just love how these covers complement each other, seriously, well done!
Thank you, so much! 😄
Thank you so much, Mobius! ^^
I really loved the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games and they deserve more attention!!!!
✨💫⭐️🌟
✨💖💜👑💚❤️✨
As I had hoped and predicted, a god based song with a twist from Giratina's song.
Giratina was focused on its struggle and anger against Arceus, seeing the human battling it as a mere obstacle on its quest to bring ruin to the reality its creator held so dear.
Necrozma has a problem with humanity itself and focuses all of its effort against the beings who had brought it down once, and now dare to challenge it again after it took back its strength.
Can't wait for eternatus toughts on the matter
*Ultra-Necrozma:* *Starts to Sing*
*Me with my Gengar with a Quick Claw and Destiny Bond:* The plan has changed, it's time to DANCE
Me with EIGHT different cheesing methods: CHANGE! THE! SONG!
CHANGE THY DANCE!
Yes I used thy
@@Aaa-vp6ug I literally stopped the adventure for that. I just left Poni in complete darkness and went to the graveyard in Melemele to catch a Gaslty and level It to level 40 because someone thought It was a good idea that Haunter and Gengar learned at level 50.
I love Necrozuma using Light that Burns the Sky on that poor wingull. It’s as if that wingull is the root of all the sun it’s been singing about for the entire son and not actually humanity and ends the poor thing then and there.
"THE BLAAAACK HOLLLLLE HITS CRITICAL MASS TO RAIN ITS JUDGMENT DOWN UPON MANKIND'S CUUUUURSE"
I dunno, these *lyrics* themselves are already critical mass. Excellent cover and voicework as always, Darby!
Thank you, friend! 😄

This is a masterclass, congratulations! I'm hype for Solgaleo and Lunala's music, there's plenty to do with day, night, sunlight, moonlight, the cosmic realm with the Cosmog line from nebula to protostar to star (sun or moon) 💛
gen 8 is next dude
I remember first finding him and loved his design from sun and moon, loved him even more in ultra
wingull was a legend rest in peace, little one ❤
2:36 "AT THE EGDE OF THE HORIZON LIES THE LIGHT THAT BUUuuUUNS THE SKYY" *proceeds to obliterate an innocent wingull that was just flying by*
0:10 "So you dare now to ascend my tower knowing well your fate is sealed."
Me with my Magnezone: Yes I dare. My fate is to kick your tail to the curb.
RIP to that level 9 Wingull at the end
"At the edge of the Horizon lies the light that Burns the sky"
Best part
R.I.P wingull
The level 9 Wingull at the end is just so funny to me.
I'll be honest, I kind of felt cheated by Xerneas and Yveltal, since the heavily synthesized voices made it unpleasant for me to listen to, but this fully makes up for it! The light synthesizing gives Darby's voice an otherworldly hint, which is perfect!
Could not agree more the arceus theme is also a dispointment
@@ethanharper8346 i think for the arceus one specificly it was supposed to sound unnatural
This song makes my jaw drop every 10 seconds
I love this so much, Ultra Necrozma is my favorite of the final Pokémon bosses, and this song is equally great.
(But did that LV 9 Wingull deserve that...?)
He said a swear on necrozma's mc server, deserved
WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE SWORE-@@ingame_yourself
As a fan of both Man on the Internet and Juno's work. I just want to point out both versions lyrics are brilliant and when listened together the way the play off each other is truly spectacular.
I still can’t believe Necrozma’s VA also voices Papyrus.
NYEHEHE! Human! I am the great light that burns the sky!
and starlo
The art and lyrics here are so freaking *raw.* You guys really hit it out into Ultra Space with this one. Straight up magnificent work.
The way Ultra Necrozma's "eyes" are rendered in the artwork makes the blue patterns look like tears.
Like it's been in absolute, incomparable _agony_ for so long that it doesn't even think to take a moment to recuperate before lashing out.
1:02
Damn. Say what you really want.
Well, both songs are written by Juno,so it may be intentional.
the way that ultra necrozma used light that burns the sky on a lv. 9 wingull is like using a tactical nuke on a fly
"LIES THE LIGHT THAT BURNSSS THE SKYYYY!!"
Wingull: **gets deleted from existence**
I read it right when it came up lol
@@Shade-q7b PFFT- LOL
THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST ONE OUT OF ALL THE MUSICAL BITES BY FAR ITS SO GOOD AND THE LYRICS FIT SO WELL
2:43- 3:08 I love how it's implied that his last act is to nuke a Wingull. That's just so funny to me
Anyways, the song and lyrics are fantastic. I still prefer your Kyogre vs Groudon one, but this takes good second. And the instrumentals from the original are fantastic. Arceus, the Pokemon franchise has quite the killer soundtrack, doesn't it
Necrozma is the BEST legendary. Chamge my mind
To think this probably isn’t even the true form of the Blinding One…
*YET HE CAN SPIT SO MANY BARS*
Ultra Necrozma is my favorite Legendary Pokèmon, and it’s theme is one of the best songs ever written. You managed to do it justice! I was a bit disappointed in Juno’s original cover, I had really hoped Necrozma would be singing. But he has definitely made up for it now!
I haven’t seen darby go so hard since the infinite theme I literally have goosebumps also the art is superb as always well done everyone!
I knew this would be my favorite in the Musical Bytes, and holy was I right on so many levels. The art, the lyrics, the vocals, it’s all ascended, this is without a doubt my favorite in the musical bytes, great job to all involved here.
Can we all agree that Light that Burns the Sky has one of the coolest animations ever?
The great black dragon, ever hungry. Necrozma the black hole awaits you, having swallowed the light of the sun and moon. It shall grant humans one final challenge before it consumes every star in the sky, rivalling the brilliance of Arceus with uncaring black. Go, Trainer!
the fact that Necrozma really used Ligjht that Burns the Sky on a wingull though... What war crimes did that Wingull commit to warrant this?
It said that this was not a banger
2:24 "die! be drowned in the darkness, as I condemn HUMANITY *TOWO* DESPAIR"
Confirmed Ultra nercozma really hates humanity it wants it to be extinct
Yes
Incineroar literally is displaying Chadikus Maximus plays by leaping into Ultra Necrozma and if we could hear Pokémon in images he would most certainly be saying “BRING IT ON MOTHA $&@&$ I AIN’T SCARED OF YOU”
