In my head I’ve always pictured dialga’s rationality holding him back slightly as he silently begs the players to defeat him, trying to resist the rage enough to not outright kill them. And this cover captures that *perfectly*
My headcanon for this song is that everytime Dialga holds a note, he accidentally uses Roar of Time and causes the actual Dialga sound clip to play. Poor Legendary: I’d go Primal too, if everytime I tried to sing I’d unleash a temporal attack.

Just...destruction The protag and their partner, tossed in sideways into this whole thing. They both care so much about the world and all pokemon, that it doesn't matter if the raging master of time is attempting to destroy them, they're pushing through, not only to save the world from paralysis of time, but to help,,,to save Dailgia from its on madness... I remember never being able to beat this fight. I was using a Turtwig and Mudkip and just kept taking too much damage. I reset my game and got Cyndaquil as the hero and Mudkip as a partner and then I cheated the Dialga fight by using Smoke Screen and forcing Mudkip to keep using Mud Slap to bring their accuracy down to the point they couldn’t even harm me. Good days.

i beat bowsers inside story but it took a while my hardest fight "other than dark fawful and dark bowser because of not being able to mash x enough to eat fawful" was Junker because i just couldnt kill him he was too powerful i did win eventually though
You show perfectly what the game failed to make clear: That Dialga had no control over himself and that the real Dialga literally almost lost to Primal Dialga when the hero and his partner reach the top of Temporal Tower. In the end Primal Dialga didn't lose to two but three Pokemon.

Even if it's two years late (wow, time really flies, huh?), I always found really moving how the partner screams "We don't want to die." It's delivered in a pretty strong way to me. You can hear the desperation in his voice, and the line itself is surprisingly crude and brutal for *a Pokémon game.* And yet, it's not out of place at all. I really think it's a great execution. This is still one of my favorite game songs ever (as it is the game itself), and I do come back to this song every so often. Thanks, Juno.
Dang it Juno, first you hit us with the Grand Finale, and now Dialga's Fight to the Finish? All the DS nostalgia is coming back in a Roar of Time! I cannot think of words to describe how perfect the finale was to the Explorers games, it made Dialga amongst my favorite Pokemon. Maybe since we are getting the rescue team remake, there will be a chance that we get an Explorers of Sky remake in the future...

There are so many bangers that I’ve been waiting for them to be made into songs on this channel. I just want to say thank you for what you’ve done on this channel. The themes you choose are usually ones I’ve been waiting to hear as a song.
You mean besides preparing to bring everyone back when they disappear in the future after the heroes inevitably succeed? Oh just holding together a crumbling tower long enough for a couple of unevolved Pokémon to get to the top, and weakening Dialga, a literal time god, to the point where he gets OHKO’d by a single focus punch from said unevolved Pokémon. So nothing out of the ordinary.
Now that Juno has been on his escapade of remastering his older songs, I feel like this one specifically deserves the DX treatment. It's such a majestic and emotionally moving song that I feel could be greatly enhanced with Juno's revamping skills. Based on his takes of remastering Antasma and Monochrome, I'd say there's a good chance of this song hitting harder if given a crank through the remaster machine.
I've been replaying this game since Rescue Team DX was revealed and GOD I love it. I'm currently at the hidden Highlands and so close to the end. All in all, amazing song that really captures the feeling of the game.

I love the final segment where Dialga, in his madness, is condemning the hero's for daring to climb his tower and he'll strike them down while begging for them to stop him. Meanwhile the partner (I assume) is standing his ground, saying that both his friend and himself well endure the full force of Dilalga's wrath to set things right, even if it means he might die.
Palkia's Onslaught would be a cool cover, but I don't know what lyrics could be made for it though Too be honest, It's definitely not as Grand as Dialga's battle He'd definitely have a more angry voice than Dialga though, he is trying to kill them and fix the tear in space afterall

This is my favorite game in the Pokémon series for a reason. I'm so happy to see how much dedication and effort was put into this, how you showed that Dialga was trying its best to protect the heroes the whole time despite the Primal form corrupting it, how you managed to keep the emotion, voice, and note of each line so well- It really does this game honor.

This song... this made me get back into Mystery Dungeon My first ever Mystery Dungeon game was Super Mystery Dungeon. I was having trouble on the water dungeon (I was Cyndaquil and my partner was Snivy) Even when I took control of Snivy, I couldn’t beat it. I got so angry I stopped playing it. Now I lost my 3DS... Anyways, this sparked my love for this series back up to a bright fire! I got the new Mystery Dungeon demo, and I am just now downloading a Explorers of Time rom on my computer. My GOODNESS... First Leon, now THIS! Dialga's Fight to The Finish is my favourite Pokemon Final Battle theme of all time, and I think this is so beautiful and appropiately saddening, considering the tragic elements of this final battle and Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky! This also inspired some of my elements of my Pokemon The New Adventures series in some ways. Still, I can definitely feel my heart wrenching when I remember the main character's disappearance...
This cover makes me have a new perspective on this song, it's not just a final battle but a cry from dialga to stop him for dooming the world he cares for.

You show perfectly what the game failed to make clear: That Dialga had no control over himself and that the real Dialga literally almost lost to Primal Dialga when the hero and his partner reach the top of Temporal Tower. In the end Primal Dialga didn't lose to two but three Pokemon.

Even if it's two years late (wow, time really flies, huh?), I always found really moving how the partner screams "We don't want to die."
It's delivered in a pretty strong way to me. You can hear the desperation in his voice, and the line itself is surprisingly crude and brutal for *a Pokémon game.*
And yet, it's not out of place at all. I really think it's a great execution.
This is still one of my favorite game songs ever (as it is the game itself), and I do come back to this song every so often. Thanks, Juno.

Dang it Juno, first you hit us with the Grand Finale, and now Dialga's Fight to the Finish? All the DS nostalgia is coming back in a Roar of Time! I cannot think of words to describe how perfect the finale was to the Explorers games, it made Dialga amongst my favorite Pokemon. Maybe since we are getting the rescue team remake, there will be a chance that we get an Explorers of Sky remake in the future...

Now that Juno has been on his escapade of remastering his older songs, I feel like this one specifically deserves the DX treatment. It's such a majestic and emotionally moving song that I feel could be greatly enhanced with Juno's revamping skills. Based on his takes of remastering Antasma and Monochrome, I'd say there's a good chance of this song hitting harder if given a crank through the remaster machine.

It really captures the intensity behind the fight, as well as the emotion in everyone's voices.
I love the final segment where Dialga, in his madness, is condemning the hero's for daring to climb his tower and he'll strike them down while begging for them to stop him.
Meanwhile the partner (I assume) is standing his ground, saying that both his friend and himself well endure the full force of Dilalga's wrath to set things right, even if it means he might die.

I'm so happy to see how much dedication and effort was put into this, how you showed that Dialga was trying its best to protect the heroes the whole time despite the Primal form corrupting it, how you managed to keep the emotion, voice, and note of each line so well- It really does this game honor.

I honestly thought mystery dungeons was going to be a forgotten treasure lost forever. I’m happy the remake is giving it spotlight. I know I personally would have preferred Sky getting a remake but I’m just happy people are talking about Mystery Dungeons again and making fan works like this. I never really got over this game. It really blew my mind as a kid. Thank you so much, the this song really captured the moment of fighting Dialga perfectly, the struggle, the stress, the whole “final” feeling, just AHHHH!

Anyways, this sparked my love for this series back up to a bright fire! I got the new Mystery Dungeon demo, and I am just now downloading a Explorers of Time rom on my computer.

Dialga's Fight to The Finish is my favourite Pokemon Final Battle theme of all time, and I think this is so beautiful and appropiately saddening, considering the tragic elements of this final battle and Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky! This also inspired some of my elements of my Pokemon The New Adventures series in some ways. Still, I can definitely feel my heart wrenching when I remember the main character's disappearance...
