In my head I’ve always pictured dialga’s rationality holding him back slightly as he silently begs the players to defeat him, trying to resist the rage enough to not outright kill them.

You show perfectly what the game failed to make clear: That Dialga had no control over himself and that the real Dialga literally almost lost to Primal Dialga when the hero and his partner reach the top of Temporal Tower. In the end Primal Dialga didn't lose to two but three Pokemon.

And said clock resets for some, repeating and repeating and repeating with each and every game over. Others are luckier, able to move to their next clock and win and win and win. There is no fairity in this game, only doom, rebellion, and Joy and happiness for those that get it. Though someone may be able to stop this and save the worlds.
I remember never being able to beat this fight. I was using a Turtwig and Mudkip and just kept taking too much damage.
I reset my game and got Cyndaquil as the hero and Mudkip as a partner and then I cheated the Dialga fight by using Smoke Screen and forcing Mudkip to keep using Mud Slap to bring their accuracy down to the point they couldn’t even harm me.

Dang it Juno, first you hit us with the Grand Finale, and now Dialga's Fight to the Finish? All the DS nostalgia is coming back in a Roar of Time! I cannot think of words to describe how perfect the finale was to the Explorers games, it made Dialga amongst my favorite Pokemon. Maybe since we are getting the rescue team remake, there will be a chance that we get an Explorers of Sky remake in the future...

Even if it's two years late (wow, time really flies, huh?), I always found really moving how the partner screams "We don't want to die."
It's delivered in a pretty strong way to me. You can hear the desperation in his voice, and the line itself is surprisingly crude and brutal for *a Pokémon game.*
And yet, it's not out of place at all. I really think it's a great execution.
This is still one of my favorite game songs ever (as it is the game itself), and I do come back to this song every so often. Thanks, Juno.

I just want to say thank you for what you’ve done on this channel. The themes you choose are usually ones I’ve been waiting to hear as a song.
Now that Juno has been on his escapade of remastering his older songs, I feel like this one specifically deserves the DX treatment. It's such a majestic and emotionally moving song that I feel could be greatly enhanced with Juno's revamping skills. Based on his takes of remastering Antasma and Monochrome, I'd say there's a good chance of this song hitting harder if given a crank through the remaster machine.

I honestly thought mystery dungeons was going to be a forgotten treasure lost forever. I’m happy the remake is giving it spotlight. I know I personally would have preferred Sky getting a remake but I’m just happy people are talking about Mystery Dungeons again and making fan works like this. I never really got over this game. It really blew my mind as a kid. Thank you so much, the this song really captured the moment of fighting Dialga perfectly, the struggle, the stress, the whole “final” feeling, just AHHHH!

I love the final segment where Dialga, in his madness, is condemning the hero's for daring to climb his tower and he'll strike them down while begging for them to stop him.
Meanwhile the partner (I assume) is standing his ground, saying that both his friend and himself well endure the full force of Dilalga's wrath to set things right, even if it means he might die.

They really screwed our boy there.
I mean… realistically, arceus wasn’t involve in the original story of time, darkness, and sky so surely that they weren’t implemented Origin Dialga in the hypothetically remake… what am I saying, this is gamefreak where they don’t introduce the anime pokemon into their main Pokémon game.
This is my favorite game in the Pokémon series for a reason. I'm so happy to see how much dedication and effort was put into this, how you showed that Dialga was trying its best to protect the heroes the whole time despite the Primal form corrupting it, how you managed to keep the emotion, voice, and note of each line so well- It really does this game honor.
The Best part of the song is 1:24 with that Transition from Calm to Primal then the Cry is PERFECTION!!!

My first ever Mystery Dungeon game was Super Mystery Dungeon. I was having trouble on the water dungeon (I was Cyndaquil and my partner was Snivy)
Even when I took control of Snivy, I couldn’t beat it. I got so angry I stopped playing it. Now I lost my 3DS...
Anyways, this sparked my love for this series back up to a bright fire! I got the new Mystery Dungeon demo, and I am just now downloading a Explorers of Time rom on my computer.

My GOODNESS... First Leon, now THIS! Dialga's Fight to The Finish is my favourite Pokemon Final Battle theme of all time, and I think this is so beautiful and appropiately saddening, considering the tragic elements of this final battle and Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky! This also inspired some of my elements of my Pokemon The New Adventures series in some ways. Still, I can definitely feel my heart wrenching when I remember the main character's disappearance...

Dialga is by far my favorite legendary and probably favorite pokemon in general so this makes me feel emotional as hell
I like how dialga is supposed to be an OP legendary Pokémon who’s basically god, is beaten by what would normally be a lvl 5 turtwig and a lvl 24 or something pikachu. But this is amazing, Juno! Maybe I’ll save up for the mystery dungeon remake now that I know this theme will (most likely) be in it!

This is the second game, Red Rescue Team came out before it. However, if the remake of Red Rescue Team sells well, we will probably see a remake of this game as well.
Oh. I don’t know much about the dungeon series, so you’ll have to forgive me. I’ve played the one on the 3ds, but I haven’t gotten that far because I’m really bad at it.

Maybe it’s just cause I’m a Goober, but music has always held a special place in my heart, particularly climactic and dramatic little VGM’s like fight to the finish here, and lord the nostalgia and memories that came flooding back when this upload reminded me of this track. The lyrics and vocals are amazing as always, think this might just be one of my new favorites, bias or nostalgia be damned, Great job as always Juno.
