@@nicothehero1430What do you mean,? You can pendulum summon any monsters from your hand that doesn't restrict you from doing it. You literally can pendulum summon ritual monsters if you want to.

As a Branded Despia main on Master Duel, I can confirm that we are capable of devious plays under the right conditions. Unless you Ash our Branded Fusion, then we're more often than not cooked.
As a Branded player, yeah we can cook through a ton of interactions. Hell, even if you Ash Branded Fusion, Albaz's contact fusion comes in clutch.

@@TezzyNCThe Chimera cards aren't in Master Duel yet. Even if they were, I would probably make it a separate build since I like sticking to the lore. Then again, my current build has a bit of Aleister so take that as you will.

Main Phase 3 is basically when the opponent start playing on your turn before you even can react like Floowandereeze and Labyrinth !

@@dantemcedgelord9331 Every Yugioh player that I've talked to. Hand traps are still pretty strong when played correctly and timed properly especially with multiple in your hand combined with interruptions and negates that basically prevent your opponent from playing. So yeah it's still powerful enough although not perfect all of the time especially when alone though.
If they do a new Master Rule revision it should be that you can only negate one card or effect per turn.

I've had branded players scoop when using Anti-Fusion Zone to prevent them from fusing. It's turned into a staple 1 of in my zombies cause Konami always makes meta fusion cards.

Imo Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell is the best side deck option when facing decks that rely on fusion summoning. Sure it may cost you a spell discard, but it also stops their fusion spells for the remainder of the DUEL. I've had some success with it in Master Duel and at locals.

I played 1 turn at a tournament as a little kid and was told 4 stars required tribute. I picked up my deck and did not care about that at all. Lol I don't know if I ever put less than 4 in early Yu-Gi-Oh because they were weak and no good reason to with bad card effects.
