A little hint for you. After flashing the autotune map, just give it a little 2% enrichment over the entire mixture ratio. That´s how i did it and it runs so perfectly ;)
Good information to have. I like the anti theft measure of it being married for life. It makes it very difficult to steal. And it's a great way to assure that a person who likes the device and has multiple bikes can't just buy one for all.
They have several pipes to program/flash with, and if yours isn't listed, you can email them and they get back to you within 24 hours with the best options and maps to flash your bike.
I’m new to Harley, I bought a 2016 48. It has 4,500 miles on it. I have a question, wondering if you would know the answer. So it has a Vance and Hines exhaust and aftermarket air filter. I feel that it’s not performing at its maximum, when I’m riding slow I feel like it hesitates so I have to give it a little more throttle. Jonathan Guzman With a aftermarket Filter and aftermarket Exaust you Must have a Tuner. Fuelpak other another one doesn’t matter. If you don’t have, the mix with oil/ air/gasoline it’s very bad.
He means with a high flow air filter, your bike is getting more air than it should, causing your bike to run lean. When you change an air filter or exhaust, you have to tune (adjust) the air to fuel mixture in order to balance the ratio for your bike to run at peak performance.

I've been using the FP3 for about a week now. Used a canned map and, wow, what a difference. Just started autotune today. So far I'm really pleased.

I have a 1200 sportster and far as highway riding there is no issue and is fairly smooth and comfortable. Am looking for a good dyna now
i have a xl1200c. it shakes at 90mph. smooth otherwise. in the process now of converting it into a tracker

01 Sportsters are carbuerated and need to be physically tuned, so the answer is no. Hope this helped.
No because your bike is carbureted, you need to get a jet kit for the carbs. These tuners are for fuel injection.
