It's why emperors like Charlemagne wore red, why a lot of Catholic and Christian countries have red in their flags, and why a literal rank in Catholicism is called "Cardinals". Finally, even its number 18 has ties to Catholicism. The reason a lot of countries see 18 years as adulthood is because 18 years old is the religious age of adulthood in Catholicism.
Its cards also have almost no inherent special summoning, so that handful of reborns is all they get. They didn't even get Amphisbaena until after Soul Charge was printed.
The thing that bothers me the most about augmented heraldry is that it also stops YOUR spells/traps from targeting your psychics, which means you cannot rank them up using rum cards while this card is in the field zone
Luckily the deck can go into xyz armor cards or utopia dragonar and because of eagle they can use it twice. It's a lot more complex and weird than it seems
I feel bad for this deck honestly, it could've been so much more, who wouldn't want to summon Genome Heratige and Stomp out your opponent with a ... faceless yet magistic looking dear thing. If it was any better it would've made for a deck piloted by V-Tubers who like animals and look like the Dryad from Summoners War....
5:19 I just realized this card kinda works to force his sons cards to become suitable for his deck, all of them focus on rank 5-9 gimmick puppets rank 8, Dyson sphere rank 9 and Chronomaly ranks 5 and 6
I loved the concept and designs of these cards and im so sad they have been neglected so much. I wish they came out in the synchro era or something maybe they would have survived more there then the xyz era where their boss monsters were only useful against other xyz monsters.

@@IsaiahBuchanan175 It was a long time ago and I don't have the list, the main idea was to summon Heraldry Crest, then Numeron Dragon, and Heraldry Crest copy Numeron Dragon effect to get 2 5000+ ATK Monsters.

Alternatively summon hope harbinger, then reattach 2 mats with eagle and during your opponent's turn summon photon lord and attach photon thrasher from deck to end with a spell+monster negate (lvl 4 which summons from hand, best garnet)

I am inexplicably rather fond of Heraldics(I find Genom-Heritage an especially fun design), but yeah, it has literally never been good ever. Gimmick Puppet has gotten MULTIPLE waves of 5+ card support in the time it has taken for this deck to get a single, restrictive Spell. You left out a few things, like the Angel of Mischief FTKs with Heraldry Crest and the fact that Patriarch has no OPT effects at all, letting it theoretically set up your GY better than even Snake Rain…if the deck had a Main Deck worth the effort.
Heh, a *funny* idea is to use 69 in Galaxy-Eyes. Ventrix: "I negate Neo Galaxy-Eyes' Effect, and now I will use Heraldry Crest to summon Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon!" Of course, you cannot Special a second while you still have the first outside of Unicorn.
Man, ever since I discovered Heraldry Crest of Horror, I’ve always wished that this deck would get new support! Plus I personally love the theming. Hopefully this deck gets legacy support soon.
Heraldic beasts are Windex if it was relabeled with a Sprayway logo Btw Nova, Gimmick Puppets got some new support you should check out. Gimmick Puppets have FTK potential now
Looking through the main deck monsters, the effects arent even all that bad. The only issue is that every monster only has one of them. That and a lack of free specials. Just condensing the effects a bit would make them much more playable with new support tho

Patriarch is basically a Sapphire Psychic Golem Head. The One which has red is the head, And the large ring may represent a king robe. Think crystal king golem but with telekinetic holding it togeyjer
this deck boss were really nerfed when they printed in the card game. In the anime, number 9 could copy any monster, xyz or not and number 69 was a skill drain.
