I was wondering if you were going to point out the fact that every Deskbot is a honorary Gizmek, and you did not disappoint! The archetypes are really fun when put together
It's funny how much synergy various machine archetypes have with each other. Like, Ancient Gear Box and Cyber Dragon Nachster work with several Infinitracks or any Deskbot and Mecha Phantom Beasts Auroradon and Coltwing work with 001 (*flashbacks*), also cards like 001 and Qliphort Genius working with Urgent Schedule
Deskbots always remind me of the damn match against Valon in Legacy of the Duelists - because instead of the unprinted armour cards they give him Deskbot 1 through 4. And you get to use Joey's deck by default... Yay
What's even the point of that mode if they're not going to give characters their actual decks? Then it really doesn't matter what face gets pasted on top.
I am known as the funny Deskbot man in my friend group, it was the first modern deck I picked up both in paper and in Master Duel once it came out, and I’ve seen them take me all the way from Pendelum Era all the way through Link era, all while incidentally showing me new decks to love like Machina and Infinitrack while looking for new support. Even though I havn’t used them in a while, the OTK lives on in my soul and to them I am forever greatful. Keep it up you glorious little lads!

"You could say those weapons really give you an edge" like the edge of scissors being sharp. It said in 007's miscellaneous fact section that it is "always one pun away from ending humanity" so it's probably a personality quirk
I tortured people at my locals back in the day with these guys, good times. 004 has been powercrept sadly, but at least in master duel you can drop Naturia Exterio and Number F0: Utopic Draco Future to lock down your opponent, which is always funny.
Back in the day, I had a friend at locals who was crushing everyone with Deskbots. That was the coolest deck he played before turning to evil and starting to play only True Dracos and Orcust when we saw him once per year x). I have good memories of that archetype in any case, I hope they get more support one of these days (specifically for them rather than for any earth machines).
gonna be honest here, you have covered quite a few earth machine decks. i think the next one you would cover (whenever that may be) is superheavy samurais. with the new support coming in and looking to shake things up it might not be a bad idea.
Knew you were going to mentions those little pendulum minions of yours at one piont, why must they be so weak, but yet somehow are still a pain to deal with, despite their low stats alone, when together most of them have over double of my attack and defense, adding the effects of three and 4, 9 is an absolute pain to deal with in combat when all the other 8 are here, even in mad king form
My fav is Jet. It's a level 10 EARTH Machine. Also EARTH Machines is one of my favorite decks. Unfortunately Jet isn't consistent anymore without Needlefiber/Auroradon (3 level 3 tokens + 001).
Could you please do a little joke for the Akiza video plug too? You managed for all the other characters so far. And you made a mistake with Base, it banishes from the field/graveyard. P.S. Secret Pass to the Treasures would be a useful way to bypass big bodies. Especially on 009, a direct attack that can't be blocked on a beater that big is guaranteed to do damage.
I swear I thought the image preview was full of candies, like spherical chocolate candies and such, but they are ALL deskbots. I thought you sneaked at least one mimic-candy in there, I swear. Nice vid as always
I'm curious about a certain card not part of this video though when is called pendulum xyz spell card can it be used to summon such monsters as the odd eyes pendulum xyz that require a xyz monster as material is there a pendulum monster could you please tell me
@@GreatBigPillock Thank you, and weird. Only because monsters don't right? Like, if a monster's effect was activated, then it was banished face up, or in the GY it would still resolve because it's in an area of public knowledge?
@@mr123leafman It depends on the monster. Some do have to remain on the field to resolve their effects. Naturia Beast is a notable one. Zombie Master is another. Honestly, I feel like more monsters should have that restriction.
