Soggy bottoms indeed! well done for sticking it out then! that looked a wee bit wet and windy. Typical weather and funny to see yous all hunching down against the wind! Amazing wee beach and an amazing wee memory of the day! hot chocolate and all! Paul.
Another great video Linda and getting close to your finish now. I have looked at doing these 3 from Lochan Fhada and going for A' Mhaighdean and Ruadh Stac Mor from Poolewe with my bike. Thanks for giving a good visual aid.😃👍
Nearing the end of a remarkable achievement by one capable, determined, and remarkable woman. Understandable when you can recall with fond memories of your dad and his adventures from an time when Austin Maxis were current cars on the road. I am sure as you have build on your videoing skills on the way your next project will be just as enjoyable to watch. Keep up the good work.
Lovely, that sums up my experience of Torridon and Wester Ross, fantastic scenery but you need to be lucky to see much of it as it is one of the, if not the, cloudiest region in the UK. I went on an attempted backpacking trip a few years ago in June intending to bag some of the munros and didn't manage any of them. First day walked in to loch Fannich, climbed a steep outlying knoll to 550m asl to camp intending to backpack over the Fannichs over the following day and a half. Weather quickly deteriorated and was kept awake all night by very strong winds and driving rain, struggled to stand up at times next morning while packing the gear so turned back to Lochluichart and Inverness. Had to source a small tent pole as I had lost one.
Aww, that’s a shame Adam. I’ve had really good weather in Torridon but last May the whole of the north west was a washout! Don’t let this experience put you off. There are some good days. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@LindaOutdoors I accept the fickle weather as part of the gamble of holidaying in the highlands. I am going to Kinlochewe for a week next May so live in hope of a nice big anticyclone to settle over the area when I go. I am considering turning it into a challenge and a charity fundraising opportunity by aiming to walk 100 km and climb 10,000 meters in total whilst there.
I did the Fisherfield 6 before one of them got demoted. Did all 6 in a single day from Coire Hallie. Was a particularly warm day. Enjoyed three pints in the FBI before pub closing time that day.
Cracking video Linda😁👏🏻..Recently started to watch your channel and Iam really enjoying it ..That beach at the Loch looked amazing and a great camp spot though damp…Wouldn’t mind going up to The Tennis Court.Good luck with your last few Munros 💪🏻⛰ Cheers Robert Cheers Robert
Thanks Robert, glad you’re enjoying the videos. I’d hoped for much better weather on this trip but sadly it was a bit of a washout. Typical Scottish weather! The beach was pretty amazing. Might go back there to camp in better weather. 👍
Fantastic video Linda 👏 there seems to be a pattern emerging where the conditions aren't too great to begin with but eventually come good later on 😎 the tennis court looks amazing and the views around the Loch were stunning 🏔 brilliant 👌 atb Brian 👍
Thanks Brian, I’d waited a while on a weather window that week & it turned out not too bad for the hills. Just a soaking on the walk in & out! Thanks for watching. 👍
Have camped as you did and then used a mountain bike in this area. Recommend let the bike take the strain, good track then paths from Kinlochewe. One locked gate but the bikes could fit underneath, saved carrying over the XL style. Worth pushing the bike up the steeper sections of path, the roll out and seat on the bike is wonderful experience after a long route. Well done on nearly compleating.
Thanks so much Rich, most of the people camping there had bikes. The XL style is no more! I think it blew down in strong winds but the landowner may have reinstated it by now. 👍
Thanks for uploading, Linda. Did you have to blaze a trail up from where you camped at Lochan Fada or was there a route to follow up? Cheers. 🏴⛰👍
I’d downloaded a gpx file from a walk report on walk highlands. There were traces of a path from time to time but basically pathless heading up Beinn Tarsuinn. Thanks for watching. 👍
Lochan Fada ~ one of my favourite vistas

Thanks Paul. I really enjoyed this trip despite the weather. The girls are great company! Wine & hot chocolate certainly helped with the enjoyment. 😂
Fantastic, such a beautiful area.
Thanks Jennifer. 👍
What a lovely video, thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching. 👍

A bike would definitely help with both the routes you mention. Takes a lot longer on foot 🦶 Thanks for watching. 👍

That’s a big day of walking. A few of my friends have done the 6 in one day but I enjoyed a more relaxed walk. Thanks for watching. 🙏

Just as well it was windy were u camped. It would have kept the Midges away.
Enjoyed watching your walk in fisherfield.
Thanks so much. That was before the midges, they appeared 2 days later! Making up for their late arrival now tho. Millions of them!!!!🦟
Great video Linda, thanks for posting. Out of interest how heavy is your pack? It looks a beast. 😀
It’s a 60 litre & around 12kg when laden with camping gear. For the Munro’s it just looks heavy but it’s minus my tent & camping gear. 👍

Lovely video ladies, thanks for sharing your adventure. 😀⛰🥾🏴
