@Featheryfaith7 It is complicated to port everything over, but once its all over and all set up, Unreal has better tools than what they were using before, so new content should be easier. But yeah, the initial bringing everything over and making sure it behaves the same is very hard.

I played Vindictus, Mabinogi mobile card game, and was just perusing games and wanted to sorta play a RPG/MMO before I get hand surgery next week and realized Mabinogi was still around! Lots of nostalgia, so started myself a Giant and got my GF playing as well. If you see a giant named Rikhard feel free to say hey. (trying to do my mastery test and getting wrecked lmao)
@@The_RealH3R0 Just wish I was able to rebind CTRL to ANYTHING else, since sorta kinda hurt my hands the past few years lol. That's about my only gripe upon returning, having fun so far but all the AP it gives it pretty overwhelming hahaha. (rebirths are given out like candy!)

maybe the unreal update they will release in game drop rates to the public.... so we know we are not getting scammed wasting a year looking for a kraken heart. when nexon's dynamic drop rates patent got leaked because they got caught and fined scamming paid ghacha to 0% in kr. i realized because i was actively playing mabi i was being punished and my drop rate is probably 0%
I'm really looking forward to this update, but I'm not going to lie that I'm not afraid that the game might end up looking similar to mobile anime games nowadays, I'm really rooting for the promises to maintain the essence to come true! 🙏
Everyone, Mabinogi will not keep most of the old system. It will change drastically because of the unreal engine 5. Its built different. When you play the new Mabi, dont be alarmed if the game has changed a lot. I have a gut feeling that it will be similiar to Arch Age since it was a popular south korean MMO game. That's where the inspiration came from.

From what I understood character data and most items will transfer. The lesser unused (older content) items will be cut. I'm expecting to release early they'll slowly continue to re-add legacy items and content with updates if they deem it worthy.

@Featheryfaith7 compared to their old engine the tools are way better. Unreal is actually fairly easy to use, especially new versions.
