While they are at it. They need to overhaul that UI.

I like the way the game is turning out visually. The important thing is that it still looks like Mabinogi. Personally I don't want the UI to change very much. It is nice how Mabinogi can have a small UI that doesn't take up a lot of screen space.

The only thing i want is for the game to be less reliant on ping. I can't put my finger on it, but i just feel like playing FF XIV, Guild Wars 2 and other MMOs feels like, even if i live in south america, i can still play very decently with around 200 ping or more

I was hoping they weren't going to use that same Diablo-esqe inventory system. Having all those bags surround the screen if you have a lot of them is awful. Especially when you're in battle and you got to open up your inventory and it blocks the screen.

Be honest, what do you predict the ETA for this to go live in NA?

Need a imidiate answer on how to play it on joystick, i mean could we play it with standard ps 2 Joystick? I ha no X Box Joystick? Wanted to play it in English like you as an English learner. Better wait for the discout the price of the game is cost an arm and a leg acording to Indonesian money currency. Therefore, i need to save up my money for purcusing the game. You know what? The joystick is ecential for for me who having a hard time to play it with a keyboard what a drag, Indonesian TH-camrs who have played it already, they said the game is playable with X Box Joystick. Is it true? I only have standard one 😢 If so, i would download the game somewhere with an old style, looking forward to your reply.😢

With how many similarities this has with runescape, its weird how runescape tubers act like their game is the only game that mechanically works this way.

I played this game starting with Gen 2 and stuck with it through Gen 19, becoming fairly well-known in the US servers (Ruairi pre-merge) and actually serving as a volunteer moderator on the official forums for a while. In a way I miss it; on the other it was going in directions I didn't much like. Not so much in terms of story -- although I admit to some frustration over cliches in the Alban Knights introduction that really shouldn't have had anything to do with Milletians. Just thinking about the combat, I much preferred it in the old days where most of the time you had to infer what an enemy was going to do from their body language. There was a skill you could train that would tell you their intent as is always the case now. I can't remember what it was called, but once you learned the body language you didn't need it anyway. But this was part of getting good at combat, not just mechanical rock-paper-scissors. It would be hard to come back. I was never someone who could spend endless hours grinding away, and my main strength in the game was persistence. I'd now be way behind. Hell, I don't even remember what my total levels were, if my character even still exists after the server mergers.

But how about on the switch?

man i nearly teared up when they revealed the eternity project, i really hope that they handle the power creep aswell and launch the update togheter with a fresh start server so new players don't don't get carried by lvl 50K + whales and see all the rediculous outfits and mounts and get discouraged. mabinogi was so much better back when it was simpler.

lol, just came across this video and found my friends at 18:04. almost didn't recognize myself since i forgot what i wore to the event but that's me in the blue short sleeve shirt.

I have very mixed feelings about trying to get back into this game. It was my entire recreational and social life back in the day. But then most of my friends' schedules became desyched from mine, the story and setting took turns I didn't particular care for -- and I was never a power gamer. My relatively high standing in the game (and if you're a very longtime player you'd probably recognize my character name, not least because I was once a volunteer moderator in the official forums) was due solely to persistence over years of play, not rapid leveling. I really want what I used to get out of it. But I also don't want disappointment.
