Welcome Luna to our family! Luna is a siamese lynx point snowshoe mix. She was taken to an animal shelter in Kingsville, TX to be EU. Texas Siamese Rescue found Luna (who didn't have a name then) and took her in. We were lucky enough to adopt her from the rescue in New Braunfels, Texas. On April 16, 2021, we went to see our sweet girl for the first time and brought her home to Austin, Texas. Our older cat, Leo, was also adopted (from Austin Cats Alive) back in October 2020.
We are so excited and grateful to have two wonderful kittens join our small family. We love them both very much and they are starting to bond (as of May 12). Mommy and daddy will give y'all the best lives you deserve :)

Luna is a perfect name for a siamese cat because in their native Thai language they're called wichienmaat, which means "Moon diamond".
and Luna means moon!

It's like de ja vous at my house. Some $#%^ dumped two kittens in the ditch in front of my house so of course they fell under the protection of the kingdom. My 4 year old lynx point was AAAAANNNGGRRYYYY. Shut down, pissy, you name it. By the time she decided to socialize the kittens ignored her......and the look on her face was priceless. What do you mean? Ignore ME? Pay attention to ME! Nope, they were too busy playing to be bothered with her, and if they got too close to her she'd growl and run away regardless. Now she wants to instigate play time with them and she's trying, but still gets scared. She's 16#, they're 3.75# each. Yep, super dangerous nuggets😂😂

Awe, she looks just like my lynx Siamese Lucy. Lucy is a handful.
She was a kitten when I introduced her to my snowshoe Siamese (who was 16 at the time) and they were fast friends from day one but Rocky (the senior) was NEVER aggressive a day in his life. I never heard him his. Never not once. He was very unusual. No prey instinct either. Lucy on the other hand is a killer. Soooo many mice. Lol
Rocky Passed of old age a while back. He was 19. Heartbreaking. They broke the mold with him. He was a real gem.

Thanks for putting this up! I really enjoyed it. We are hunting for our next kitten to adopt, trying to wait for a lynx point siamese-snowshoe, then going to bring him or her into our home with George, our adult lynx point siamese--snowshoe. I'm not worried, as I've introduced many cats over the years.....but it was just a really sweet video/story and I loved watching it. It warmed my heart, and I'm getting so excited to let our newest baby find us!
I was in awe from the beginning. I just adopted a Saimese mix kitten in June and named her Luna that could be pass as yours Lunas twin. 🥰

We had a beautiful blue point Siamese cat named Sammy. He was my Dads cat. Then 8 years after he passed we had a black and white cat, he was half Russian Blue. We adopted him when he was 10 months old

We got a new cat a couple weeks ago. Home of our cats hissed and they were both angry at each other. 3 weeks later there constantly grooming each other and always with each other looking out the window or napping.

Just a note on introducing cats. Jackson Galaxy recommends introducing them by SCENT first, not by SIGHT. You could have let them swap rooms or swap carriers so they meet through smell first. Intense eye contact and getting too close is what causes hissing upon first meeting. This is how I introduced my male tabby to my female lynx-point siamese, and she was the new cat in the home.
ALSO when bathing a cat in a tub, fill the tub (with luke warm water) first! The LOUD SOUND of running water is too much for their sensitive ears and makes them panic. Fill the bath tub up so that the cat can stand in it about knee- to chest-high water. Then, use a cup to pour the luke warm water on the kitty cat. I give my cats baths all the time this way, and they don't even try to jump out because it feels like a hot tub for them .

I have a similar cat the father was lynx point and the mother was a pure white persian the result was a cat much like yours
I got a Siamese cat today and he kept on trying to explore and he was scared. I, my mom, and brothers are still trying to work with him!
Aww congratulations!!! I think that is normal behavior. Luna wanted to explore the whole house, which was so different than how Leo was when we got him. Leo hid in a hole in our cabinet for hours!! Luna was the opposite - she was not scared to run around :)
My 4 month old Lynx point is still too much for my 5 and 7 year old tabbies .. Lil Star is so full of energy... I know it takes time .
