we had 1 of these in the 90s with the roadhaus cab it had twin stacks up the passenger side. it used to do italy weekly great truck. when man built good trucks

Partially. The Block is the same, but cylinder heads and fuel system are different.

Pretty much. Scania and Mack cooperated on engine development for years until Volvo took over Mack, which explains why Scania and Mack engines have nearly identical displacements. Scania for instance provided the Direct fuel injection technology for the Thermodyne engines. But it should be noted that the Scania engines are metric whereas the Mack engines are imperial, so there is no direct interchangeability.
We had a 6 cylinder F90 doing container work in Melbourne, beautiful truck, and the 18 speed roadranger was the sweetest changing manual setup I've ever seen.
