For what it's worth I couldn't agree more ! always check for master pins. I went behind a very good locksmith and found 2 master pins in 1 chamber. Everyone miss at some point. That's why I prefer to just dump the bible all together. Check for wear on the top pins you can check the springs, and you know there is no way there is any unwanted master pins.
I absolutely love my mullet. I'm going to have to grab the big bro. The speed and simplicity of dumping master pins makes it invaluable. Another fantastic addition to the CLK family of locksmithing tools. #LockBoss
Fabulous design my friend love the length also the fact you can dump the master pins .looks like a great quality tool ..now design your pining kit trays to hold the tool so we don't lose it lol Ya I know order a couple just in case ..lol 😎🏖😎
Now, that is a wonderful combination of tools. I, also, check for master pins in all my rekeying because I have found too many in cylinders which I never expected. That is one cool #lockboss tool!
Received it today! Respect! You guys are fast! BTW I appreciate the gift and gesture of candy but I try not to eat sugar. (A better gift might be more points or a discount of some sort, or a free pick/rake/tensioner, guess it would depend on the interests of the customer, idk)That said, I like that you are being generous. Everyone hates greedy companies. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the great supplies! Oh, I kinda wish shipping was less or at least was variable. Perhaps dependent on price or something else that is reasonable and still profitable, I getit that this is a business. Don't want to pay $10 shipping for $5 shims. JS. That said, LOVE YOU GUYS! CLK ROCKS!!!
PJ - Big Bro was one of my prizes for winning the #LockBoss give away a couple of weeks ago. I have it in my Cart. I am looking forward to using This new Tool. Thanks again to all the Gang at CLK Supplies. Still looking forward to seeing everyone on one of the videos in the future. #LockBoss
I have the mullet and love it it's a very helpful handy tool to have I also have the master pin follower it's a handy tool to have but this looks like it would be even better because you only got to have one tool for everything thanks again PJ for your innovating thinking as always give my best to the lock father and the staff I couldn't ask for a better group of people to deal with #lockboss
You managed to fit another tool into a single follower? Neat. I wonder if it's possible to put anything else on there, though I guess there isn't really anything more to put on in the first place. #Lockboss That bubble blooper got me.
Looks like you went with the Schlage style cylinder cap removal tool? Good choice, I very rarely run into the Weiser type. Next order, one is going in. #Lockboss
I've had difficulty using that style of master pin follower with Schlage cylinders. The driver pins can hang up on the edge as you attempt to rotate it back. The Keedex style with the ramp tapering down to the flat section works better IMHO. Perhaps something for a vetsion 2 of this tool? #LockBoss
I use one very simular by another brand to remove master pins. I think you should have left a little bit more Room before you hit the landing area to remove master pins, my 2 cents. #lockboss
Having a Schlage-style cylinder cap removal tool just makes life easier. The Mullet is good, but I find the length a bit too short for my liking.. which means I tend to use the ole standby Weiser pot metal tool. With the added grip and with the upgraded metal, the Big Bro looks like a great option. #Lockboss
The tool will work for master pins 2-6 (Schlage) and 2-5 (Sargent) as well as similar ranges for others, but if you've got 7-9 (Schlage) or 6-9 (Sargent) master pins stuck up in the bible, the tool won't get them out. The only way to be ABSOLUTELY sure you have no master pins left is manually. I just set up a small Sargent master system for a friend, and two of the user keys the software set up and were used have #6 master pins in one chamber. If an operational key other than the master were used for one reason or another to remove the plug, that #6 pin would remain even after using one of these tools. They're great tools, but you need to keep that limitation in mind.

@@MC-24 I don't charge for checking the lock's bible.

Yes! Love to hear it!-PJ

Another GREAT Tool for the #LockBoss. I will definitely be adding this to my arsenal of Lock Re-Keying Tools.
Awesome, thanks John-PJ
They need the ball bearing spring to slide into the chambers to help rebuild cylinders
The bloopers remind me of Tommy Boy when he’s rehearsing his bit in the car lmao
😂-PJ
Great addition to the follower lineup. #Lockboss
Thanks PJ
You are always showing us "cool stuff" #Lockboss
Sweet eliminates the chances of dropping the top pins when switching from the plug follwer to the master pin follwer. Great tool PJ #LockBoss
Thanks-PJ
Slick! Thanks, PJ! No reason for anyone to NOT check for master wafers with one of these! #AccessLockKeyLLC #HaulinBrass #LockBoss
💯👊-PJ
Have to love the multitools. Nice tip on checking the masters. #Lockboss
Oh man, I just ordered two of the three items this replaces. Just two hours ago. I'll never be a #Lockboss with moves like this.
Great demo video, awesome tool thanks 👍👍#lockboss

That bubble blooper got me.
Haha, I'm sure I can think of something else!-PJ
Big Bro is going on my Purchase List. I wish I had seen this video before I placed my last Order, on Monday. #Lockboss
Next you could machine an inverted taper on the follower end, to help with some schlage cylinders. Thanks PJ #lockboss
For sure!-PJ

🙌-PJ

Awesome, thank you-PJ
Nice combo tool! Thank you PJ! #Lockboss
My question is why would you need a master pins for? Do you really need them?
For when master keying -PJ
@@clksupplies sorry new to all this and learning. What is the master keying do and for?
That's a clever addition to a multitool! I'm just curious, as I look at-why was it necessary to make it longer?
#Lockboss
Looks like you went with the Schlage style cylinder cap removal tool? Good choice, I very rarely run into the Weiser type. Next order, one is going in. #Lockboss
Awesome, thank you-PJ
But how do you know where the master pins came from
Very nice PJ, I like it! Is this the tool that you mentioned a while ago that was in production? #LockBoss
Yes!-PJ
Sweet improvement to the Mullet. #Lockboss
Thanks-PJ

Definitely need a multipurpose plug follower. I like the master pin design in it since most plug followers don’t have that. #lockboss
Thanks-PJ
Ordered it last night. #lockboss
Ross, thank you-PJ

Man that was a really cool useful tool. I'm definitely going to have this in my arsenal. lol #lockboss
