Cool video to find. I just came across a collection of Dept 56 at an estate sale. Everything was a “name your price.” The collection was all displayed in a large glass cabinet. Season’s Bay and Christmas in the City stuff. Probably 200+ pieces, and they had all the boxes too. I’m still going through it. 15-20 buildings and a ton of accessories. Since it was “name your price,” I offered $200 for all. The lady said that was TOO MUCH and asked me for $100. I took all of it home without the boxes at first since the boxes were buried in a storage room. Went back the next day and got all of those, then started listing. The first sale on eBay was one of the buildings for $220 plus shipping. Doubled my money on one sale. The rest is gravy and I’m figuring at least $2,000 in gross. Just hoping it all moves consistently.

Last year we came across an even larger collection of 56 than the one you found, and they practically laughed at our offer of $1000. This collection is documented in one of our old shorts.

@pennyw201 When an international sale is made on ebay, they take care of everything from collecting the extra fees, customs, everything really. You just send it like any normal domestic package to ebay's shipping center, it's so easy now!

I think that collection must have been donated directly to the outlet center there... there were no GW tags on them either, just my luck! Thank you Cookie for the recommendation, that's wonderful I'm heading over now!
