Hope you guys enjoy this quick cool down/stretch! I'll have this video linked under every workout from now on so you can easily find it :) Much love! See you soon Xx- Maddie
EXACTLY!! You ever get that feeling over your body when you finish a workout. I don't know how to describe it but it's like a sense of accomplishment and it's like your body is really strong and gleaming. Or is that just me😂😅
I've been doing this stretch routine for about two weeks now, and on day one I could barely reach my shins with my legs fully extended and now I can easily reach my toes! I feel incredibly empowered :)
Also, I've been doing this after the exercises and I can't begin to describe how much of a difference it makes to the shape of your muscles! I got my thigh gap back after two years of it being filled with mis-shaped quads
I do workouts from a few trainers here on TH-cam, and your stretch routines are the best by far, Maddie. I love that you included stretches for the neck and wrists. Most trainers neglect those areas. Very comprehensive stretching, and thank you for uploading so many routines.
I do this video almost every day. I love the feeling of kicking off my sneakers after a workout and relaxing with this stretch routine. I have it memorized by now but I still play the video in the background because it's nice to just turn off my brain and be guided through the stretches. Love this video too because it's the perfect length to feel super rejuvenating and I always have time to fit it in. Overall 10/10
Hi, I am from India, and we are under complete lockdown since Tuesday this week, so have been following your channel and did some of your workouts. They are really great and easy to follow... and they are amazing for a home workout - especially since I cannot get out at all. Just one suggestion - since a lot of places in the World are under lockdown - it would be good to have a full week routine - maybe 45 min - an hour everyday. Without equipment - and concentrating on different parts of the body daily and maybe mixed with a few HIIT full body explosive workouts. That would just be amazing!! Thanks so much for these videos during these testing times. Rishabh
This is my favorite cooldown video of all time! The flow is great and it just makes me feel great after my workout. Been using it for ~2 years now. Thanks Maddie!
I did this stretch so many times that by now i memorised everything Maddy is saying hahah this routine is just simply one of the best stretch routines here on youtube
Thank you Maddie for this amazing stretch routine! I’ve been doing these exercises for a month now, almost on a daily basis, and the results are awesome. I can reach my toes which was an impossible thing to do just few weeks ago. I feel incredibly empowered, happy and relaxed every time I do this routine! :) Shoutout to everyone dealing with knee, hip, lower back pain... start doing this, and you’ll feel amazing!
Ahh this one is such a throwback. It’s such a nice full body stretch. I remember doing it when I first found your channel 💛 now it’s been almost 2 years or so!
i feel so relaxed after 2 workouts and this exercise this is super satisfying! i never enjoyed that much doing sports haha greetings from Paris under lockdown
I love this cool down. It has been hard getting back into working out and making the conscious decision to get in shape but once we were on lock down and I found that I couldn't use my bi-weekly competitive sports game to keep fit, I needed something to help me get stronger and recover from the endless injuries that I have had. This and all your other workouts inspired me and I'm glad to say that I look forward to more ballet inspired and yoga stretch workouts.
This cool down is: as effective AND, in some sections, MORE effective than austere Hittleman’s yoga that I practice and love. I was able to literally heal AND improve flexibility, range of motion AND strength in a 38-year-old injury that had somewhat restricted my wrist, which, when I was 5, was struck hard by an older boy with a golf club. Now, after having practiced these cool-downs, everything I do is 80% easier and almost completely pain-Free. Those wrist stretches have allowed me to both face my wrist-fear AND heal that wrist safely. This cool-down is excellent in every way. I have been doing these workouts for several weeks and, mostly because of Madfit, I feel 100% better. Of course, I hike, bike, walk, jog, take care of my very tall autistic son and work quite a lot as well. Madfit workouts in very well with everything I do. Even the beginner workouts are intense; it’s awesome. Thank you !
Love all of your no equipment workouts and stretches, they are amazing! Could you do a post-run strech or a stretch routine that focuses on the legs? I combine at-home workouts with running and would love to cool down from my runs with some stretches too! Thanks!
This is the best cool down I’ve ever done. It transitions into different stretches so smoothly. I enjoy many of your videos daily. Thanks for helping me not to miss the gym! Never thought i would look forward to a workout at home... wowworkout at home!!
I love this stretch! It is one of the only stretches on youtube that actually makes me feel like my body is actually stretched out and relieved of any tense feelings. Thank you so much Maddie!
I've been using your videos to work out over the past few weeks and today was the first time in a while that I've been able to hold a solid plank for over 30 seconds. Thanks, Maddie!!
I've been increasing the number of days i do this in a week!! I always end my workouts with this, or i start with it especially when i'm not particularly feeling like moving. This always gets my blood flowing and makes me feel more centered (if that makes sense) ❤ each time i do this i'm cracking all over hahaha 😅 thank you so much for this amazing stretch routine, Maddie!! Much love 💖
Hey! Just wanted to let you know that this is the best cool down and stretch routine. I actually feel energized and satisfied after following this, no matter how hard my workout was. Thanks a ton!
This was the best cool down I’ve ever done , and before in shelter I went to gym daily. The transitions between stretches were awesome. I enjoy your videos daily. Thanks fo making it possible to enjoy a very hard workout with results at home. Will continue to follow you (even when gyms open..lol).
Many thanks for this 15 min stretch. I am a huge believer in the benefits of stretching after every workout. I had a severe brain injury a few years ago. During my recovery,I did regular P.T. and I had a trainer tell me at I should do 20 min of stretching once a week. I am now fully recovered, thanks to routines that include warming up, working out, then stretching. Your videos during this pandemic have provided me with a greater variety of exercises than when I went to the gym. I occasionally need to vary an exercise and I do them a bit more slowly than you, but u have enabled me to increase my overall level of fitness during these at home times. I feel strong, flexible and fit for my age (76 yrs). Many, many thanks, Maddie.
I just would like to share with you how glad I am to found this video. You literally changed my life for good. These are the streches I need for and helped to become a healthier person. Thanks a lot!
You're such a great instructor! I've followed many fitness videos and yours are by far the easiest to understand (I was doing some stretches the wrong way) but thanks to you I feel all my stretches in the right places! So happy to have found your page :)
I am just SOOO happy that I found this video!!! At last I managed to stretch everything that felt tight and even things I didn't know felt tight - wrists??? Thank you so much, Maddie!
this is truly the best cool down routine I’ve ever done and I use it after strength workouts, hiit workouts, and agility workouts I do at home. There’s so many movements I’ve never seen in other cool downs and they help me stay energized and not sore after workouts!! Thank you so much Maddie ❤️❤️
Thank you for including WRISTS! So many cool down videos out there that totally dismiss/ neglect wrists. This was a nice routine to follow as a workout cooldown, thank you. I've saved it to my workout vids playlist for future!
I found your videos about a week ago, more than 3 weeks after I began my fitness journey, and I love them so much! They're so helpful and the fact that you're so calm feels more encouraging somehow!
I love this stretching workout. It makes me feel so calmed down after doing HIIT. It feels great and the sequence of stretches is on point. Thanks Maddy!
This is my new go to for a warm up and cool down as you really do stretch the whole body. I would recommend this for people doing any kind of exercise activities
Maddie, thank you very much for your workouts, cool downs and warmups! Your channel is a lifesaver for me during COVID-19, it has transformed my life entirely...from gym group experience to a single person workouts. I love it❤️ and addicted!
I enjoy your workouts and your videos a lot, Maddie! Thanks! Especially since a lot of the things are perfectly suitable for beginners that don't have the strength and flexibility that you have (yet). But on that note, there are just some tips for beginners, that came to my mind, since I've been praciticing yoga for years now: when stretching your hands in a table top position, you can do it one hand at a time. I find it much more easy, more gentle and you are also much more aware. Same thing for making circles with the arms. And just in general: never force or push too hard. If your body can't do what Maddie can (for example get as low): that's first about practice but second also about your anatomy. So please be gentle and listen to your body. You are awesome the way you are :* (and I just have to get it of my chest: while doing the "cobra" my brain screamed "but that's an upward dog" :D don't want to be rude or anything)
I have been doing this almost everyday for nearly two months, and now I can have all my 10 fingers touching the ground without bending my knees.. thank you so much Maddie~~ ❤️ from Malaysia~❤️
Hey Maddie, thanks for this awesome cool down routine! It has really helped me become more flexible, and it's been so rewarding seeing myself reach further and further when trying to do all the various stretches. Thanks again ☺️
I tried a different Hiit workout today on youtube and it was just NOT the same. You have a way of making the time go quickly and my body is already feeling more toned. Keep em coming!
As a beginner I really enjoyed this 15 min stretch routine. I feel so much more relaxed and comfortable. I have some health problems so there are a few moves I had to do slightly differently, but I will definitely add this to my daily routine.
Hi, I just want to thank you for helping me to regain my fitness level after a fall in the OR and a hospitilaztion. I am a RN and I work in the ER in NJ. Thanks so much
Love your stretch routines, more stretch videos please! It would be awesome to have more 15 and 30 minute stretch videos to rotate into my daily stretching. Thank you for doing this for us!!!
Hiya, I hope you are having a lush day! I just thought I'd share some appreciation for this thorough cool down. It has helped me out a lot and your commentary is very useful too, with all of your tips and adaptations for many of the stretches. One piece of constructive criticism I would add, is to potentially include one stretch for the tibialis anterior/ tops of the feet (front of the shin) and also the plantar fascia on the foot (bottom of the foot). I only recommend this because I am in my second year of a Sports Therapy degree and what I have noticed a lot with my peers and clients, is that tendinopathy's within our feet and front of shins are more common than you'd think. Primarily because we rarely target these areas as major/ effecting muscle groups during daily life or performance. Therefore to make your future cooldown routines even more inclusive, I would definitely include a few stretches to focus these and I believe your viewers would appreciate it. Sorry for the long comment 😂, it's just with all of the low impact/ lower limb stress workouts you put together, stretches in these vital areas would definitely aid performance. Thank you very much for reading and have wonderful rest of your day!
your workout programmes helped me very much with my neck pain.. I couldn't breath very good and i started working out and my neck is so much better now
Loved all the wrist work💗💗💗 It’s so important to stretch them as well! This was a nice quickie that really helped me to feel complete after my workout! Thanks🙌🏼
Doing the circle thingy with the hip and back into a child position was absolutely amazing ! The left side of my hip often feel blocked and I usually need to try to "crack it" to feel better, it can be slightly painful and sometimes it just doesn't work. Lately I haven't felt that "block" often because I've been getting back into working out and a healthier routine, but then, when when I did this hip circle movement, I heard cracking all around, it caught it me off guard, and then felt so liberated in that area. I was going through the comment to see if that happened to others and check if it wasn't a weird thing, but couldn't find anything. If that movement help with my hip feeling blocked or tensed on the long term, this would be a game changer.
I seldom leave comments but I just have to give this video a thumbs up 👍 By far the most relaxing warm down and the most liberating part was when my joints start crackin!
I love your vibe, the way you combine the exercises and the music in all of your videos, it makes me feel so good! Thank you for your amazing work. My one and only exercise channel on YT❤
thank you so much!!! This routine was so beneficial and I wasn't able to stretch my quads as effectively, for many years, as I do now since you taught to push your hips forward while doing so. You're great!!!
Maddie, you are amazing, truly a ray of sunshine!. Just did your warmup routine, then 15 minutss legs workout, then this. Feels great, thank you! Much love from Russia ❤️
Maddie, I am loving your workouts and recipe blog! Just found them this month. They are helping me to live a cleaner and healthier lifestyle, and I'm genuinely having fun doing it! Thanks for all of the inspiration and convenient recipes/workouts.
Personally I really think this is one of the best whole body stretches ever I feel absolutely awesome after this 😊🔥🏋️♀️ it's an amazing stretching video thank you so much for sharing
I really like this stretch routine. I do it even on the days, when I do not work out. I like the significant shoulder and neck part (maybe we could have more of it 🙂), which is very important for all of us, who spend lot of time in front of a computer. I recently had a consultation with a physiotherapist, who told me that I am in a very good condition in general, but my neck and shoulder muscles are very stiff and that can cause many problems on a long term, so I need to do more stretching exercises. I think these stretches are really very good.
love this so much! been using your workputs for almost 6 months now and i'm really starting to gain confidence because of the results i'm seeing! hope u do more of these stretching exercises but 10 minutes!
Hope you guys enjoy this quick cool down/stretch! I'll have this video linked under every workout from now on so you can easily find it :) Much love! See you soon Xx- Maddie
I love your workouts!❤
Thanks so much!!
Heyyy can u plsss make a video for legs using equipment and weights.... PLEASE 🙏
Do you have any strictly yoga sessions? I feel like I can see the proper movements when you do it vs other actual “yoga channels”
When In the cobra pose (that’s always been a confusing one for me) what exactly should I be feeling stretch?
I'm always happy when I'm doing this, it means that I finished my workouts...
Exactly.... U always get that.... "phew last workout!!" right?
The motivation to do the workouts 🙏
sameee!!!
Ahahaha sameeee😂😂 I'm sooo relieved lol
EXACTLY!! You ever get that feeling over your body when you finish a workout. I don't know how to describe it but it's like a sense of accomplishment and it's like your body is really strong and gleaming. Or is that just me😂😅
Maddie: Keep your neck relaxed
Me: Attempting to break my neck so I can see the screen
Lol meee
I try to just listen but I always end up looking at the screen to make sure Im doing it right haha
LOOOOL SAME
i just see the screen just to remember the move and then pause the video and i do it without watching
Honestly though lol most relatable comment for any TH-cam workout video ever
I've been doing this stretch routine for about two weeks now, and on day one I could barely reach my shins with my legs fully extended and now I can easily reach my toes!

Also, I've been doing this after the exercises and I can't begin to describe how much of a difference it makes to the shape of your muscles! I got my thigh gap back after two years of it being filled with mis-shaped quads
this is exciting to hear because it's my first time and I can barely sit up straight without being in pain hahaha
Sarah Yassin thanks, really motivating!
Sarah Yassin same!
I have a question does it increase your flexibility to the point where you can get better at the splits?

Proud of myself for doing this. Doing workouts step by step properly from warm up to cool down 🤣
Same here!

I love your workouts, they've transformed my quarantine life! Would love a shorter cool down, like 5 or 10 mins!
She has a 5 minute cool down now , it's really good !
When I REALLY don't feel like stretching... I go straight to this routine. Thanks for your work. (and the last stretch, you're right, feels amazing).
I love this stretch! It is one of the only stretches on youtube that actually makes me feel like my body is actually stretched out and relieved of any tense feelings. Thank you so much Maddie!
ahhhhhhhhh feeling so good after stretches like this! Thank you so much Maddie for this sequence :D
I just would like to share with you how glad I am to found this video. You literally changed my life for good. These are the streches I need for and helped to become a healthier person. Thanks a lot!
I love this cooldown :D
Your tips were very helpful, such as making sure that the quad is straight instead of bringing it all the way in. Thanks Maddie.

Never took stretches seriously until I found this channel.
My performance in my workouts and running has noticeable improvement.
Thank you for including WRISTS! So many cool down videos out there that totally dismiss/ neglect wrists. This was a nice routine to follow as a workout cooldown, thank you. I've saved it to my workout vids playlist for future!

As a beginner I really enjoyed this 15 min stretch routine. I feel so much more relaxed and comfortable. I have some health problems so there are a few moves I had to do slightly differently, but I will definitely add this to my daily routine.
Doing it the next day I just hurt my shoulder. Ouch, it'll be alright in a day or 2.
Her: "nice big circles with your arms".

Love your stretch routines, more stretch videos please! It would be awesome to have more 15 and 30 minute stretch videos to rotate into my daily stretching. Thank you for doing this for us!!!
This is great! You covered a lot of neglected but important areas that, for me, are always tight - like my shoulders and wrists.

Excellent. Great attention directing us how to use proper form. Also loved the wrist stretches. Much needed!
I just did this every day this week after a couple of videos, 6x down.... these stretches have definitely reduced my muscle aches and stiffness
I love that you dont make any click bate claims. Keep it up!
Thank you. I'm learning that one is never too old to rearn the importance of stretching.
your workout programmes helped me very much with my neck pain.. I couldn't breath very good and i started working out and my neck is so much better now
Yo I just finished this and I feel SO good and relaxed, thank you so much 😊
That quad stretch tip is such a game changer! Thank you!

Hello from Almería! (Spain 🇪🇸) I've discovered your routines since we started cuarentine. Thanks a lot, it's helping me to feel better and keep fit.
This is amazing it helps with my breath circulation and a great way for me to wake up I never felt this alive in this long. Thank you 🙏
I seldom leave comments but I just have to give this video a thumbs up 👍 By far the most relaxing warm down and the most liberating part was when my joints start crackin!
I love your vibe, the way you combine the exercises and the music in all of your videos, it makes me feel so good! Thank you for your amazing work. My one and only exercise channel on YT❤
Excellent cool-down routine! I combine it with your 15-min sixpack workout (no equipment) and they work so well for me! Thanks very much!
thank you so much!!! This routine was so beneficial and I wasn't able to stretch my quads as effectively, for many years, as I do now since you taught to push your hips forward while doing so. You're great!!!
Yay, just finished this. Day 21 of January challenge done! Thank you!
Maddie, you are amazing, truly a ray of sunshine!. Just did your warmup routine, then 15 minutss legs workout, then this. Feels great, thank you! Much love from Russia ❤️

After 2 hours of shoveling snow, a much appreciated stretch!
it just gets better every time I
do it!
Love the wrist stretch part (actually, I love the whole thing). I work on a computer all day and the wrist stretch is really is amazing.
This is my favorite stretch out of all the videos I have saved ❤😊
