Seriously. Aventus smells decent. Not $325 a 1.7oz bottle decent. I did however get a bottle of Green Irish Tweed for $180 (4oz) a few years ago. Worth every penny to me. One of my all time favorites.
Idk cause you can get Armaf Club de Nuit intense Man it's a clone of it & a big seller in the fragrance community.... It gets me compliments from women EVERYTIME my brother 💯

Good list Jeff, I have some of these colognes. I didn't realize they had been around as long as they have. The one classic cologne I think you missed is Ralph Lauren Polo Green. My uncle turned me onto it back in the late 80s.

Drakkar Noir definitely was one of my favorites from the 90's
Jeff hit it on the nose. YSL L'HOMME is a classic and has been my signature fragrance since it dropped. My favorite was ULTIME which is discontinued but thanks to ebay I got some on reserve. Great video Jeff.

I don't own Tom Ford's Oud Wood, but I sampled it out at Sephora about six months ago. I was stunned how good that was. No wonder women love that one so much. Fall of 2023, it's on my TO BUY list. Thank you and salute.

So good! I tet the fifteen dollar sample size that lasts about four months of select use.

i remember going to church with my grandparents as a child in the 1980's...i never knew what the cologne all the Deacons wore there until about 30 years later when i went in cvs and sprayed a sample of aramis...lol...

This was a dope list. Must of these can definitely been worn everyday. Ironically you started the list off with Aqua di Gio which was what my father introduced me to back in high school. I would take his everyday until he bought me my own. 😂😂
Brick solid list, OG. You could have knocked me over with a feather when ADP Colonia showed up on the list. Just picked it up about 3 weeks ago, and it’s one of those “where have you been all my life?” scents.

Eau Savauge, Givenchy Gentleman, Pour un Homme de Caron are favorites of mine. They are classy scents. Cool Water is a great one. I also love YSL Homme, also.

Oooooo weeee that jacket is NICE! I like your list, but mine is slightly different. I picked up ADG, Fahrenheit, cool water when they first came out so of course they are on my list, but some of my all time greatest fragrances are Safari, Drakkar Noir, Givenchy Xeryus, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, Chrome, Aramis Devin cologne, Black Phantom, Polo (Green), Grey Flannel, and Lagerfeld. Thanks for taking me back to a time when I was young and smelling great! Keep putting out this great content good Sir!!!

I always get compliments on these old school colognes. I love to wear them sometimes when I'm feeling nostalgic. I love smelling good always so I have at least 20-30 bottles at any given time. Your list was fantastic. You get no argument from me.

Ralph Lauren Polo Blue is one of my personal favorites. There's also a Tommy Hilfiger cologne I use to like back in high school, but can't remember which one exactly. I will have to try out some of the ones on this list though.
I get more compliments from women on my Burberry touch vs my creed royal water. Because it cost more don't mean it smell better but most of us associate the two.
Another “old time favourite” of mine was Fierce by Abercrombie. I swear I received more compliments and attention from that then almost any cologne. I don’t even know if they make it anymore but it was a great wear and didn’t cost as much as the box Creed comes in. Lol.

Great list Jeff. I have owned some of these over the years. Cool water and Calvin Klein in high school man those were some of the most popular colognes in the 90’s. They were in almost every magazine with the sample they used to have in the flap of the advert lol, I had to buy it back then. I haven’t worn those since then but I still think those are classics.
I have a scent that not to many people know about or talk about that has become one of my favorites Façonnable Eau De Toilette. There is no english on the tin it comes in. It is one I have worn for about 20 years and I always get complements on it over the years .Its very affordable and great year round scent but it excels in the spring and summer. I also have a favorite Creed that I have been wearing now for 20 years and it’s Silver Mountain Water. The other two favorites of my are from the house of Bond no 9, 1. Bleecker St. 2. Scent of Peace for him cant go wrong with either and women love both. Just a couple of my all around favorites
Original Boss Bottled should have been on the list. So many versions came out after such a banger of a seller.

When I saw this list, I thought to myself, I'm sure that my top 3 will be on your top 16. You started off right with Agua Di Gio. Then you came with John Paul Gaultier. And I was like, OK we're on the same wavelength. And I waited for my 3rd, which never came.
I'm surprised that L'eau d'Issey didn't make your list. I remember when that came out because I was clubbin hard back then. That cologne was next level. Women were almost animalistic when it came to wanting to smell that on my body. It was an absolute game changer.
There are so many of the scents you listed that I completely agree on. My fav just wasn't one of them.

I LOVE Tom Ford!! My favs are Hombre Leather, Black Orchid, and Fucking Fabulous! Im also a big fan of Amber Oud by Al Haramain.

I've tried all of those colognes and the 1 cologne I always got great compliments from is 1 million by Paco rabanne. More than creed aventis, bleu Chanel's, etc. I'm surprise it didn't make the list
I think 1 Million is a legend in the fragrance community. Dare i say many houses are creating their own version such of 1 Million such as Versace Eros
