Hey, Peter . Terrific vids. No nonsense with just enough info to peak interest. These are all good picks. I have designers, clones, and a few niche in my collection. I like to mix it up. i.e. PdM, Dior Homme Intense, Insurrection II Wild. $30 - $50 cheapies, $50 - $100 designer, $100 - $200 for high(er) end designer/niche. Somebody stop me ! My last purchase was a split of Xerjoff Naxos - va va VOOM !!
Just subscribed, got ombre leather today and I can't stop smelling it, it's strong and intoxicating. I sprayed it on a tester around 12 and it's still pushing strong now just like when i sprayed it.
Great video, the only one I agree with is Bleu Electrique and Layton. Still waiting for either Kismet,Afnan or Armaf to come up with dupe/clone of YSL Bleu Electrique.
A small correction - Dior Homme Intense hasn’t changed. The Dior Homme has, which is what I believe you’re talking about, since you brought up the 2020 version.
@Scent Trail it's all good; as much as I like Dior Homme 2020, it should've been named something else. I own both pre 2020 DH & DHI, and I have to agree with your choice of DH over DHI. Although the differences are subtle, I like the original better over the intense. P.S Thanks for making great content! I found Hermes L'Ombre des Mervellies thanks to you, and it's a hidden gem.
Recently smelled dior homme intense..I think its really good..also quite unique with the lipstick note compared to the more popular blue shower gel scents

Original Spicebomb has been my signature scent since it first came out. I actually prefer it over Intense. Although I'm starting to wonder if the original has been reformulated? I have an older travel bottle and I swear it's just a little bit better. Not a fan of Infrared (too Christmas'y) or Night Vision (toilet) which reminds me too much of Pleasures (estee lauder). Both of those of pretty intense, a little too strong maybe. Before Spicebomb I wore Versace Dreamer and A'Men for many years. Always enjoyed fragrances from Dunhill as well.
Amazing list. One interesting point on either extreme… Dior Sauvage elixir is sooooooo strong, I find it hard to wear, I have to partial spray one spray then walk through part of it, or else it chokes me for hours and is just to overwhelming for anyone around me. And then there is the YSL La N’uit de L’Homme…which could easily be the most spectacular fragrance I’ve ever smelled… is so weak that I can barely smell anything on me at all, even after just only an hour. What a shame. Otherwise, all amazing frags that I wish I owned them all but don’t yet

2nd bottle of Elixir Pro tip. Spray your shirt the day before while hanging it up. Something about the way out dries down to a smooth scent that smells like it's actually coming from you and not from a freshly sprayed cologne.
I layered Missoni Wave and Missoni Pour Homme parfum yesterday. 2 sprays each it quite pleasant. Both are very nice cheap designer fragrances. I picked up the Missoni Wave at TJ Maxx for a whopping $22.

Here now he has passed away and my Memaw is mentally living in 1976 as a secretary in Festus MO 😅so no help there and I can not for the life of me remember the name of this brand. there is a new Dior homme intense, retail priced. Unless you are prepared to spend $800 dollars , you are never finding a 2011 , silver collar, edition......never. just buy the new one, it isn't like the regular 2020 remake you showed in this video..., it's got lots of iris.
DHI is still current (no old and new). It's widely available in Europe (don't know about the US). Dior Homme is the one that has been switched to something else. The old Dior Homme is now called Dior Homme Original. It gets confusing!
Niche is a well-known fragrance house. They only concentrate on Fragrances. While a designer will also do couture and other fashion goods. Then there are indie fragagrances. Basically, the ones not known as much and are starting out. At least, that's how I understand it. For me, Tom Ford is a designer but sells his fragrances at Niche prices. 😫
Man in black last about as long as Creed 3-4 hours I don't see what all the hype is about the man in black. I've tried it 3 times and after an hour it's a skin scent now with the notes it has one would think 5-7 sprays would be a bit over kill but its not because 3-4 hours later its gone. Now the rest on the list are good and let me be clear MIB and Aventus are great scents just no longevity.
I do get good longevity. Nothing stellar but ok. Also, I find I get a bit nose blind to MIB only to discover it again a bit later. Try spraying some on your clothes 👊
Dior homme 2020 is not good?😂😂 maybe only for you because if you try to go out with either with 2020 you get compliments from everyone, dior homme intense from very few, you can try.
I'm in Australia sprayed Creed on 1 Arm spray ARMAF on the other,. Basically identical but Creed gone within about 2 hrs ARMAF still could smell after shower and for $500 AUD Creed to $60 ARMAF I know what I will continue to buy.
Peter was not really clear with the Dior Homme lines.... he was talking about Dior Homme 'INTENSE'. Then he warned to be careful to not get the Dior Homme 'EAU DE TOILETTE' 2020. BUT actually Dior Homme 'INTENSE' 2020 is very nice and very similar to the 2011 edition. Sou you should get that one and it will be perfect. All in all what Dior did with the naming of the Homme line is pretty confusing, so it's easy to make mistake. That's what Peter warned for.
@@ScentTrail Gern geschehen! I knew what you meant when I watched it, but then I thought it might be confusing especial for beginners. So it was no surprise to see the comment. Dior messed up the naming completely
Great list!I want to ask You what do you like more-la nuit l'homme or original l'homme?Because everybody talks just about la nuit version, but i think classic version is better, classic is always the classic!Really want to hear your opinion, thanks for very good video!
Hi Kirill, The Original L'homme is probably more versatile. One can wear it to work and it is plenty cozy for an evening out. I agree with you, the Original started it all. Thanks for watching 🙌
I've got about 10 sprays left of YSL L'Homme OG my bottle would be easy. 8-10yrs old when you spray it it's brilliant you go somewhere for 10mins it's packed up and gone such a shame as the scent is brilliant
Thats going to be hard ,although not impossible. Online mostly for a hefty price. I like most people settle for the Original Dior Homme or Original Dior Homme Intense. Try to find a bottle from a few years ago. If all else fails the Parfum is also very nice. Thanks for watching!

DHI is still current (no old and new). It's widely available in Europe (don't know about the US). Dior Homme is the one that has been switched to something else. The old Dior Homme is now called Dior Homme Original.
It gets confusing!
DIOR HOMME PARFUM NO1
What is a niche fragrance?
Niche is a well-known fragrance house. They only concentrate on Fragrances.
While a designer will also do couture and other fashion goods.
Then there are indie fragagrances. Basically, the ones not known as much and are starting out.
At least, that's how I understand it.
For me, Tom Ford is a designer but sells his fragrances at Niche prices. 😫
Put the same video with the name of the frangrance displayed in print when you switch
Thanks for the tip, Jatinder 👍
Man in black last about as long as Creed 3-4 hours I don't see what all the hype is about the man in black. I've tried it 3 times and after an hour it's a skin scent now with the notes it has one would think 5-7 sprays would be a bit over kill but its not because 3-4 hours later its gone. Now the rest on the list are good and let me be clear MIB and Aventus are great scents just no longevity.
I do get good longevity. Nothing stellar but ok. Also, I find I get a bit nose blind to MIB only to discover it again a bit later. Try spraying some on your clothes 👊
@@ScentTrail ok thank you for your response.
Hello,
I agree with most fragrances but the list is missing one great fragrance which is: YSL Y EDP
True, that is a good one. 👊
Thanks for watching 🙌
@@ScentTrail You are welcome keep up the good work
I know this is crazy but leyton disappointed me…but Carlisle is 🔥
thanks for watching 👍
Good list tho.
Thanks 👊
Aventus was a killer years ago,now it’s just a shell of itself, way to expensive for what you get
That is the general consensus ,unfortunately.
Thanks for watching 👊
Dior homme 2020 is not good?😂😂 maybe only for you because if you try to go out with either with 2020 you get compliments from everyone, dior homme intense from very few, you can try.
Appreciate your thoughts, thanks for watching 👊
Sauvage elixir for ever
Sauvage 1. & 1 milion 2
Good edit @7:47 lol

@@ScentTrail you should check out Rasasi Qasamat rasana, it's a great tom ford ombre leather clone!

🤣 what is your go-to scent?
@@ScentTrail My everyday scent is Bleu de Chanel Parfum. I also have By Kilian Back to Black, Dior Homme Intense and PDM Pegasus

My friends wife explained BDC in 2 words. "That's Dangerous" 😀
🤣😂🤪 love that 🍻
A bit of critique...PUT THE NAMES OF THE COLOGNES ON THE SCREEN. You pronouncing them doesn't help enough.
Thanks for the tip👍
Creed Aventus is the king
Yes Sir 🙌
Zara vibrant leather is the best copy of Creed Aventus , 2 the black beast by Armaf . Great video , thanks
No offence for the money for Creed I would not buy it , it smells like burnt wood lol. Disappointed
I get it , Oud, isn't everyone favorite note.
I'm in Australia sprayed Creed on 1 Arm spray ARMAF on the other,. Basically identical but Creed gone within about 2 hrs ARMAF still could smell after shower and for $500 AUD Creed to $60 ARMAF I know what I will continue to buy.
Brasil ✌️🙋🏻♂️
Dior 2011 nowhere to be found 😢
Hopefully, it will pop up somewhere soon 🙏
Peter was not really clear with the Dior Homme lines.... he was talking about Dior Homme 'INTENSE'. Then he warned to be careful to not get the Dior Homme 'EAU DE TOILETTE' 2020.
BUT actually Dior Homme 'INTENSE' 2020 is very nice and very similar to the 2011 edition. Sou you should get that one and it will be perfect.
All in all what Dior did with the naming of the Homme line is pretty confusing, so it's easy to make mistake. That's what Peter warned for.
Thanks for clearing this up for me. Appreciate you having my back 🙏
@@ScentTrail Gern geschehen! I knew what you meant when I watched it, but then I thought it might be confusing especial for beginners.
So it was no surprise to see the comment.
Dior messed up the naming completely
Totally Agree 👍
Great list!I want to ask You what do you like more-la nuit l'homme or original l'homme?Because everybody talks just about la nuit version, but i think classic version is better, classic is always the classic!Really want to hear your opinion, thanks for very good video!
Hi Kirill,
The Original L'homme is probably more versatile.
They are All Average At Best...
Most people are comfortable in the middle 😉
Thanks for watching ✌️
Dior Homme Intense And Layton🥰
Nice ones 👌
List without Hermès terre not a list at all
I agree,
Looks like I need to do another one.🙌
every second guy smells of bleu de chanel
Yes, that's true. It is also a sign of its amazing quality 👌
Thanks for watching 👊
And the first guy smells of Sauvage
Where can I find the 2011 Dior?
Thats going to be hard ,although not impossible. Online mostly for a hefty price. I like most people settle for the Original Dior Homme or Original Dior Homme Intense. Try to find a bottle from a few years ago. If all else fails the Parfum is also very nice. Thanks for watching!
