The Constitution spelled out their role and everything in the Constitution CAN ONLY be interpreted according to the spirit of terms and conditions for the GRANT of conditional independence by the British.
Policies made by politicians, government or even declaration or spoken words by Constitutional sultans and Agong not in accordance with the CORRECT interpretation of the Constitution is an abuse of power, an infringement of the Constitutional rights of the affected citizens and shall be null and void!!
Singapore also adopted the same Constitution as peninsula malaya , malaysia after leaving Malaysia to save time as they do not need to renegotiate with the British.
Singapore’ interpretation of the Constitution is the most accurate unlike the perverted interpretations of the Constitution in malaysia which targetted to rob and discriminate the non Muslims non malay of their Constitutional rights, and made nonsensical tyrannical demand from them which are unconstitutional like the speaking of malay language requirement, yearly harassment of their rights to learning mother tongue and schools to equip them, questioning their loyalty when they are the ones who produce more than 90% of the tax revenue of the country which paid the salary of PUBLIC SERVANTS etc , and to breed the 7th century barbarism of absolute tyranny and greed.
The late honourable Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his wife, both of whom are the cut above brilliant lawyers with integrity and honesty. They assembled the best brains as foundation for their judiciary of Singapore

It's the discretion of powers granted by the constitution that the YDP Agong has the authority to appoint any Members of the Parliament who is BELIEVE to receive the majority support from the MPs. Therefore the appointment is just "suggested" by the Parliament and in reality is the Agong just need to appoint any Members who received a majority support. It does not means that the abusing of powers , by then how would u define that ?

Keep your kiasu within your border. No need to be disrespectful of my country's system. Since when do we rob the non Malays of their rights? Social contract is one of the compromise reached during Malaya's road towards independent. Your point stating that learning mother tongue becoming point of harrassment is unacceptable. Yes, racism is unavoidable, but to throw accusation such as this is so low. Oh, I forgot, your country is the most perfect right?
