Hi Sean, RBZ is actually only renamed ZIP file. But it needs proper structure so that SketchUp can recognize it. Here is more on the topic: forums.sketchup.com/t/convert-zip-to-rbz/109528
Hi there! When I click on the link "install" to download the skp2osm plugin, and, according to your instructions, rename the file w/ the extension rbz, it does not turn the folder into one new 'package", and now I have several sub-folders under the main folder. Thoughts?
Hi Karen, you can install RBZ directly inside SketchUp. Just go to Extensions > Extension Manager > Install Extension and point it to RBZ file you have downloaded. Does that help?
Which OS? I guess it is some settings on your system preventing you to rename it? Can you extract the contents directly to your SketchUp plugins directory (something like %appdata%/SketchUp/SketchUp version/plugins/)?
There could be a few reasons for this, you may need to just start a new face? Press control (PC) or Option (Mac) while on the extrude tool. A small + symbol should appear on the cursor indicating that it is active. Hopefully, that should solve the issue. Another possible issue is that you may be trying to extrude a group. make sure you have selected the face you wish to extrude (a small hatch pattern should appear on the face when you hover over it). Hopefully, this helps?
Dear B Özbay, you are completely correct, what a failure! I've just read a text that I saw next to the location I was focused on... Apologies to all Turkish people. And Greek. Let us try to fix this slip.
Hi Mustafa, you can create it with a click of a button using Modelur in SketchUp... If such models are all you need (and no parametric modeling functionality Modelur adds to SketchUp), we offer OSM importer license here: shop.modelur.com/product/modelur-osm-importer-annual-license/
the plugin for OSM on the skp2osm is not found :C
Go to the right of the wiki website, where there is a green map, the actual link for download is working there.

Nice tutorial, but it was disappointing to hear that you thought Istanbul was located in Greece.

Thanks Andres, we're happy to hear you find it useful!
... grooooooßartig!! 👍👍 Thanks for all this!
Is there a editing tool for imported map?
Sure Alari, you can use all of the SketchUp's built in functionality to edit the model!
this no longer works with skp2OSM. there is no RBZ file and renaming does not work. Any fixes?
Here is the link to skp2osm: wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Skp2osm
What is not working?
