"The dark wheel" tumbling through space, just like a black hole. The black hole significance to the Raxxla mystery is apparent. Great stuff man, as ever adding the mysticism to an otherwise sometimes sterile game.
Deeper and deeper we go. I have always hoped blackholes have some use besides just cool imagery. I hope the game isn't truly as sterile as it seems sometimes.

Right, but this isn't about real life, it's about how those ideas apply to the game, which is far from real. Also, I never said he was a reputable source, just kinda implied that his ideas might be an inspiration behind what's goin on with Barnards Loop.
@@CMDRGURU951 as rooted in realistic science as Elite Dangerous is I would highly doubt that, in addition they have said it's discoverable in the game which would mean it wouldn't be in a system with an unattainable permit required to unlock it.
@@Puffalupagus360 Fair. I'd say that there appears to be many things going on in Elite that are no doubt not tied to Raxxla. And I like you do not feel that its hidden away behind a permit lock. I guess the Barnards loop stuff was more of an observation about its placement within Orion's belt and how The Alien World explains the Oisir's connection to the Great Pyramids. My hope is that they've taken the opportunity to make the mystery of the great pyramids actually come to life within the Elite story. Just hopes of course. Just trying to find connections, CMDR.
Rather than edit the post. I would like to add that though Elite is absolutely filled with reality based sciences, there are many aspects of Elite that are purely sci-fi. First off we have Newtonian Physics and the mass distribution of the Stellar Forge engine, and a pretty realistic timeline of humanities development over the next 1300 years, these are realistic. But we also have the ability to travel much faster than light, and I can fly to Beagle Point with no canopy, provided I have the synth's in my inventory. Also lets take the crime and punishment. I can murder innocent civilians and wedding barges all day with a small penalty of just a trip to a detention center and a fine. I would suggest that there is more fiction than non-fiction at play within Elite, and the experience we get to have couldn't be done without both aspects. This is all just for opening channels of discussion (seems to be working for this thanks to CMDR's like yourself), expressing ideas, and largely explaining my personal take on things, and my personal experiences while on this strange quest, and HOPEFULLY hearing about other CMDR's experiences, ideas, and perspectives on it all. o7
