Double-stack checking is a parameter I use when doing surveys. When you move onto another system you remove the star system you're on via filtering to see if there's one hidden underneath or "inside". Initially it seems easy to just filter the star type out but if the hidden system is of the same star type you'll filter it out too so it's best to do it on a visited/not-visited basis. Of course this can only be done the first time you set foot in both, after that they can for all intents and purposes be completely hidden unless you note their name down.
Fantastic!!! Frontier don't deserves players like you my friend! The company must add more things to the game to real release their full potential! After seeing your videos, I'm now a Raxxla hunter. (or a Wanna be) :)
The fact that the ships are named after snakes shows the mind of the creator. Snake worship star maps or historical knowledge of ... will take us to Raxxla
Not a vanishing planet and it's probably nothing more than a coincidence but Iansan and BD+08 1303 are two systems in the exact same place. In order to access the "bottom" system I had to filter out the "top" star type. Once in, I called in my carrier and used it as a base of operations since it can be a little tricky to access. It kind of makes me wonder how many overlapping systems are actually out there especially where star density is incredibly high. Could there be systems where there are 3, 4 , or even more systems overlapping? It would be a good place to hide something you don't want found without actually locking people out.
Systems in ED are organized in an Octtree. Imagine a cube, u can divide it in 8 smaller cubes. And than each of them can be divided in to 8 even smaller cubes. whithin these Cubes Coordinates are uniqe so Systems can not have the same position. But where those Cubes touch Systems can get same Coords. on the faces only 2 Systems can overlap on the edges up to 4 could overlap and the maximum of overlaping Systems would be 8 right in the corner. I never seen or heard of more than 2 overlaping systems. Edit: now that i think about it, i may can make something spitt out posible candidates for the corners, but it has to wai ttill next WE Forrget that. coords can also overlap whitin the same cube e.g "Juenae EJ-D c1-5785" and "Juenae EJ-D c1-1096" there must be a lot of them out there
Someone showed me Iansan just the other day. Been meaning to pay it a visit myself. Definitely curious. Overlapping stars most definitely seem rare. To find one outside the bubble would be wild. Great advice about filtering to see it. I don't know how that escaped my mind.
Oh cool. What systems exactly? Since this video only one other system that “kinda” exhibits one of these behaviors has been listed by some of the viewers, though I can’t remember which one.

theres 2 dark regions near the bubble... 1 is the aries dark region and i think the other is the pleades dark region, do any of those have 1 of the vanishing stars? one day when typing 1 of those in it took me to BD-17 3614 ? and its like 5000ly from the bubble its a wolf rayette star and i thought maybe raxxla made stars do that and that raxxla might be a supernova engine.... when i tried to go there my game started acting really weird and i heard ship thrusters and other weird noises and visual things making stars line up to look like eyes in a black and red cloud it was one of the craziest things i ever saw in elite dangerous and started in the PRO EURL sector heading to BD-17 also dont quote me on the last 3 numbers i may have them in the wrong order but its a small list easy to find
What I am investigating is a system that is not permit locked, but un-accessable. If only I could remember where it is. I think I have got what I need to open it. I think it was on one of your old videos, but I cannot be sure. I have gone through a few of your videos, does it ring a bell?
@@CMDRGURU951 I found one of your old videos that I watch during that time. You spoke of the numbers at the end of the system names that told of what you could expect to find in the system, Neutron stars or black holes etc. Also the system was not far from another, so close in fact that you tried super-cruising there. But it would not render in game when you arrived and you could not jump to it normally either. Don't worry I will find it. Merry Christmas :D
I know what I'll be exploring over the next month. Side note, liking the LBN 623 Nebula. Managed to find some pretty decent mining sites out here right next to it should you ever need the locations of them.
what one of them voids would be classed as the deepest? and going by the codex if life is the jewel that burns, I guess meaning the sol system, is that where we would start our journey in super cruise towards that void?
I believe Bootes is the largest. Might be worth a shot with the supercruising. I've definitely considered Sol might be the key, maybe somewhere as far as the Oort cloud, which is over 8hr supercruise.

Like your content m8 , use the star map 3 letter code vid frequently when I play , but since odyssey, frontier have kinda killed it for me.
I appreciate the feedback. I hope they turn it around for you.

They might be close to those dark regions, but I'd have to check again.
The Company will handle it.

There are quite a number of stars too far to reach. Tough to say. I don't recall mentioning any.

Question to ask is of these binary systems, do any of them border a COL 70 system.

Knowing fdev, they would probably consider a brown dwarf star to be a gas giant, so it could be the 8th moon of a brown dwarf star.
Seems reasonable enough.
