I got the box set for basically the same reason. With TYBW coming out, I knew that I needed to hop on Bleach if I was going to want to have it in the collection in the near future.

Great stuff! In my opinion this is the best way to consume the series. Personally the anime doesn't capture the essence of Kubos work as well, and the original black and white pallette is used very creatively for hard contrast and other methods of visual story telling. The colored version that some people talk about isn't official and results in translation inconsistency. It's interesting to see other people's perspective, but for me this is the best way. I plan to get three box sets too someday... Either way, have fun.

I have to say I absolutely love the bleach anime, I watched it countless times, so I tried reading the manga but I just couldn't get into the style of it and most of the times is confused me if I was supposed to read it from right to left like all mangas.
But recently I discovered there is a colored version of it and I absolutely loved it. I read like 50 chapters in one day 😅 I like that the characters are not all pg like in the anime
That is awesome! I had no idea there is a colored version of Bleach. I'm glad you were able to give the manga a second chance and found the manga more enjoyable in color. I would recommend checking out Solo leveling if you are looking for more manga that is in color.
I keep the poster and booklet in the boxset and I am also team mangas in the boxset 🤣

I bought this box set second hand (zero damages lol) for €45. But I stopped at volume 8 or 9. I just didn’t enjoy it. Sold it for €125
