Hello Mike, I just installed this combo into by 86 Mustang. I notice in your video that it looked like the boots were not installed on the light due to the heat sink of the led lights. The heat sink section of the lights can twist out of the keyed section. Just turn counter clock wise until it stops turning and just wiggle out. Slip on the boot and re-install the led with heat sink. My guess is JDM uses the same led heat sink assembly and just installs them into different mounts, very clever design.
Good to know! Yeah I tore the boots I had, and ended up ordereing different ones. Didnt know the heat sink could be removed. Would have helped out a lot! Thanks for sharing.

If your center the pump did not tun on it could be as simple as swappng the fuel pump relay under the driver seat with a new one. I would also checks all the grounds near the tank. A faulty ground would cause this and there is a ground for the fuel pump relay right behind the back bumper towards the center.
Yeah I would too, the color difference is odd when high's are on, but they rarely ever are on. I still want to swap the high's out as well. The marchall lights have an H2 halogen, far as Ive seen, they do not make an LED replacement. You would have to opt for a different housing. Likely when I go turbo the intercooler will be in the way of the fog lights anyway.
Yeah, I really want LED high and lows and I considered the whole sealed beam led housing but it looks kinda strange on a Foxbody, but this upgrade would be great. And yeah I really like my fog light housings with the Fox emblem on the outside, but would much rather it all to be LED. Maybe you could modify the fog housings (like cut a hole in the back for a light but it being glass I doubt that would work) maybe you could find a set of housings that have removable bulbs and swap LEDs in and get the Fox emblem glued onto the front like the OEM housings. Also I know how to splice a load resistor in , but it is very helpful to see a video of how to do it on the exact same car as the one we have, bc I really want switchback turns instead of having orange light constantly on

You have a fb
Yessir, Im not on it much though, other than for family stuff...but im in the north texas foxbody club, a closed group on FB.
But I would want everything switched from halogen to LED
Also I know how to splice a load resistor in , but it is very helpful to see a video of how to do it on the exact same car as the one we have, bc I really want switchback turns instead of having orange light constantly on
Do you have the link for the rubber boot since the one that came with it didn't work. I want to do this conversion but want to get the boots when I get the LEDs. Looks sharp. The best part is more light when driving at night
You know i might have missunderstood, JDM pointed me to these, so not certain if they have them listed on the site or recommend these. I will clarify when i find out. These are ones they showed me TOMALL Retractable Rubber Seal Dustproof Covers for LED Headlight Conversion Kit (32-100mm Dustproof Cover) www.amazon.com/dp/B075TFH6XR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_sTC9Bb89RE9KF
@@HOUSEOFDULA you rock. Thanks for answering and the info! A lot of you tube channels don't engage with their subscribers. But you do. That is really great. Keep up the good work! Take care.
