He repeatedly told them "They can't deliver your car if you keep distracting them from their jobs". The tech next to me was one of the first to accept delivery of one. He also managed to get special pricing being a long time employee of FoMoCo. Good times. Keep up the good work my friend.

Driving my 2008 Bullitt feels the most like my 68 of any Mustang I've driven. The better handling and brakes are a welcome addition over my first Mustang. I love the classics, but this is so much more drivable on a daily basis, especially as I age.
The happiness all over your face is priceless, you're infectious joy for these cars is absolutely awesome to watch, I've watched this video a couple of times now and you are so happy and excited to drive this car I actually went out and bought one.
This is the best sounding S197 GT I've ever heard, especially when you let off the gas at a high RPM. Obviously more than a GT but you get the idea. Such a beautiful car, and an amazing review!!
As somebody who drives a 2016 GT PP with 435 horse....this one looks just as fun, if not MORE fun! Gorgeous looking, and over 300 horse is a LOT for anybody, except racecar drivers, and people who have never driven a car!
The S197 is a lot scarier to drive. There's still that fun factor, but given the live axle set-up, it's harder to handle at higher speeds, and it tends to find the crowds of you floor it out of a turn
I bought an 08 when they first came out and sold it in 10 and regretted it so much that I just bought a low mileage 08 again . I'm never letting this one go. Last of the old school cars :)
eddiet204 I did the samething. I had a 2007 GT.. I got rid of it and it was one of my biggest regrets.. Now I got a 2010 GT.. It's almost identical to my 2007. Black with black leather. The 2010 is a little bit more refined than my 07 I had. I dusted a Nissan 350 on the way home from work today :)
I really hope that Ford does in fact make a 2018 Bullitt Mustang because you deserve it and a way that you get excited about that exhaust sound is exactly what you need, something you're not getting right now.
I'm thinking about buying one for my birthday. Tempting but I can also buy a 370Z or C5 Corvette for what they cost. This is the classiest but the Corvette would be faster by a lot.
I like this version better than the 2019 bullit. Just love the retro front end round headlamps. Just the overall from end look much better than the newer mustang front ends.
Really like this video, I have mine black 2008 bullitt and I am really love with this car, specially after putting Roush extreme axle backs instead of factory ones :)
@@hyssean12 I know it’s been a while since you posted it, but yes if you get smaller mufflers it makes a big difference in sound. Roush extremes are basically just muffler deletes though so it makes it a hell of a lot louder.

I saw a bullit on the way to work the other day. That's the second one I've seen in person. The ones that are still out there are being taken care of. Very very cool, besides the gt500 this is my favorite mustang of that generation.

Your really putting out quite a bit of information on this Bullitt. I have a 2008 Bullitt and it doesn't have 350 Horsepower but 315 horsepower. The Bullitt your driving has a modified exhaust on it. I like my stock Bullitt Mustang but I could go for that throatier sound. I a week after taking delivery of my new Bullitt had to have a after market Glass Roof installed and I also had deep dish Wheels with knock-Offs installed. I didn't like the Ford Stero/Navigation that came with the car so I upgraded to the Pioneer Avic Z3 that is one fabulous system. I could very well be looking into acquiring a 2018 Fully equipped Bullitt so someone will be getting my fabulous Bullitt with all the kept in storage original equipment. My Bullitt is totally flawless and not a scratch to be found on it. I will be asking Top Dollar for my Bullitt in as much as a Ford Dealership doesn't offer any deal in taking my car with a fair trade in.
As a recent owner of a 08 gt manual, I love it!! Not as fast as modern mustangs, of course, but way better styling. Is exactly why I wanted a 05-10 mustang gt. But so much fun, to drive. A v8 manual, with load exhaust. Is just plain enjoyable!
Like it well enough I bought one new. It still has a home in my driveway and I'm still happy with it. Running a set of FR500 KR axle backs now with a "few" other mods.

I think the 2008 Bullitt is the closest newer car you will get to the classic 60s fastback Mustangs. I just bought one and parked it beside my 2007 GT500 and I'm broke but HAPPY
I bought my Bullitt after watching this video, mainly because dude was giggling like a schoolgirl while he was driving it. Then 4 years later, I watch more videos of his. Dude giggles at EVERYTHING. He's a damned giggler. No complaints though, love my Bullitt. And no stupid custom exhaust.

I’ve owned a 01 Bullitt that I supercharged and recently own a 08 Bullitt that I supercharged along with aftermarket exhaust and roush racing suspension and it’s tough to explain which one I prefer. I loved my 01 that was my baby and first project type car and while it wasn’t as fast as my 08 there was something special about it. I’m still warming up to my 08 but I still love it. The 08 rides smoother and is more comfortable overall whereas my 01 felt like a race car it was like an extension of me when I drove it. But if anyone is looking to get a mustang i highly recommend bullitts 01 or 08 and what’s great about them is since they have heavier duty parts they’re easy to modify for more power without having to reinforce everything else. Also I like how he mentions how they tuned the exhaust to sound like the one from the 60s but when I supercharged my 01 I had to switch to straight pipe exhaust because the supercharged ate thru the cats and after I finished it I went home and watched the movie and listened to the exhaust and I swear when I went to straight pipes it sounded exactly like the one from the movie it was awesome!
I'm very tempted to buy one for about $10000. It has 140,000 miles, do you think it's worth it at that mileage? Looks in excellent condition with a touchpad stereo and routine maintenance in check

I have this car with 16000 miles on it and it doesn't have a scratch on it. I have been criticized for adding a Custom CDC Glass roof but I always make changes to my vehicles and ignore some people saying that I should not have tampered with a Special Edition car.
It's hard to believe that this was pretty much the only American muscle car around back in 2008. I guess the Monte Carlo or GTO/G8 were options but looking at what we have today, automakers have come a long way.

Best part is a super charger bolts right up and drops 0 to 60 by like a second and a half , but definitely would need a bigger radiator/intercooler

I bought a 37k miles black one 4 months ago. Did the axle back make it quite a bit louder.? I do like the deep sound of the stock bullitt exhaust.

I know prices have gone up but I got a black 2008 bullitt with 37,000 miles for $14,000. I would hold off and try to find something with lower miles.
